The town of Deggendorf is also known as the gateway to the Bavarian Forest and is a small, thriving town with many small restaurants and shopping facilities. The house in which your holiday home is located is about one kilometre from the town centre and is situated on a quiet, sunny south-facing slope with a small garden. The bright and tastefully decorated ground floor apartment has a separate entrance. A large sun terrace with many Mediterranean plants invites you to relax. The Danube cycle path is only 300 metres away from the house - from here you can start cycling tours to Regensburg, Passau or Austria. Kilometre-long hiking trails lead through the region of the Bavarian Forest. In winter there are several options for skiing, hiking and cross-country skiing in the nearby cross-country ski run. Consider the following excursion destinations: tree top path in the Bavarian Forest, Schloss Egg, Benedictine Abbey Metten, Feng Shui Spa Park Lalling, Game Park Buchet.

Special arrival, no personal contact. Key was somewhere. Great neat home with lots of storage. Large bathroom with unfortunately small shower. The floor in the bathroom got wet after showering. Narrow bed of 1.40 meters. The property is in a quiet residential area. A small terrace in front of the house, where you can sit quietly. I would bring relaxation chairs myself. Nice city. We brought bicycles, so you were in the center relatively quickly. You can walk, but it certainly takes 20 minutes.

We made a call on arrival and were told where the key was. The cottage is just in a residential area where it is fairly quiet. It is a well-kept neighborhood. The owner came by once to ask if everything was fine. We have a good time and the house was neat.
