We have for the second time had a wonderful and relaxing holiday in Steingaden. During the time we were there it was very hot, but close enough beautiful lakes and pools to look for in cooling. There are lovely walks in the area. A must with kids is the Feuersteinschucht in Bernbeuren, a beautiful forest walk along waterfalls.

A very spacious apartment bedrooms and a big bathroom! There is a very large balcony with seating and sun loungers! The apartment is located above the home of the owners. The owners are a married couple over 65 farmers. The farm, rooster, feeder cattle and horses is still bedrijf.Gelegen on hills, in a hamlet of a few farms, two kilometers from the village. View bergen.We have lots often walked around the lakes nearby. We have many wild spotted deer with daily around the corner. Additionally, beaver tracks, birds of prey and a vos.We have been a few times to and in the castle Schwanstein. We are there, even walking went to Austria and drove back via a very old pas.We two times to Munich to explore culture in the city.

The stay in this accommodation (farmhouse) we liked. The owners are very helpful if you have questions or something. The setting is beautiful and the house (top floor) was large enough for 4 people (a bit on the tight side for 6 persons). Bathroom is clean as is the kitchen with oven, microwave, refrigerator and dishwasher.

Because this house was voted one of the best Belvillas 2 years in a row, that creates an expectation ... we did not experience it that way. The coffee maker took half an hour to make half a pot. The beds were old and creaked enormously. The crockery was dirty in the cupboard. The couch was too small. In short, not what we are used to from Belvilla. Unfortunately, we had to break our holiday early.

Knittel house had everything you'd need for a wonderful winter holiday in the snow a nice cozy house, beautiful surroundings and equipped. Too bad that the further tidy bathroom was marred by a toilet with a thick layer of chalk that brown is ...... Baby "s are welcome only it must sleep in a bed with bars that are too far apart to be safe to be called on a mattress that dates back to zero. That was quite a shock and scare.

What an amazing location. The apartment is very well equipped, clean and the owners are very friendly. Would definitely recommend the apartment to anyone. Close to Fussen for King Ludwigs Castles and only a couple of hours from Munich. We had a great holiday here and can't wait to return.

Ms. has always tips to use eg swimming etc. v. washing machine is always goed.Omdat our daughter in the holiday birthday, she received another gift, really thoughtful! We were in mrs. almost family, so we did was not betalen.Het house is wonderfully clean, beds are good / clean, lots of extra things, such as dishwasher / oven enz.We want in health certainly return to this address, because the mountains are great, the beautiful lakes for swimming, the beautiful waterfalls ..... We also make this year a wonderful book and invite to come and see it from Belvilla!

Quiet area with a beautiful view. From the balcony were regularly along the forest deer. A continuous sound of the cowbells. During our stay the weather was excellent. The owners live in the lower two floors of the house, the guests staying in the top floor. The bedrooms are spacious to mention, the dining and seating is limited. The room contains no real seating area. The house is very basic. All in all, we have two adults and two children have an enjoyable holiday.

In the holiday with fam Knittel a wonderful, quiet, peaceful, rural, "night still dark, had vacation along with our two youngest children of 13 and 17. The property is surrounded by meadows, where the children can play football could , and wandering around the cows and a few horses. There was ample opportunity also to enjoy the sun, mrs. Knittel has regularly told that we could get everywhere. The village Steingaden is a nice base to make it to include Garmisch Partenkirchen trips but also to Munich, all is well with the car to drive. For cyclists there are excellent cycling opportunities, good bicycle paths. For hikers, there are plenty of hiking trails in the area, at the Tourist Information they really offer friendly manner and there are leaflets and info about. We have z 's 4-particles had a super holiday and as a bonus the weather was also further along!

We had a fantastic week staying at Knittel. We were made to feel very welcome and the owners tried very hard to communicate with us even though we don't speak German and they don't speak English. The apartment is decorated to a very high standard and felt like a true home from home whilst we were there. The balcony is a lovely place to relax and the surroundings are very beautiful.

We had a very pleasant stay in this great Bavarian cottage amidst fields covered with flowers on a background of snow-capped mountains (we were late April). The "welcome is warm, very well equipped accommodation, the children instead of playing (with the" inside and "outside) and can also see the farm animals. The castles of Ludwig II are nearby, the surrounding villages are charming and Munich is 1:30. We keep excellent memories of this stay.

1week was actually too short to see all the beauty in the area. The walks starting from the center of Steingaden is very worthwhile. Keep in mind that from the start \/ end point remains as "one small 3km hill must walk up to the house. The reward is a great view of the Alps Family Knittel is very hospitable, but also lets you fine go your own way. In short, a must. We certainly go back sometime.

Upon arrival we were already waiting. Kindly received. Beautiful view from the holiday home. Just like watching a live painting. View of cows and horses that leave a relaxing bargain shop. Daily deer seen and even once a fox. Many birds of prey that you can see in action. Also, it is very nice to get some of the farm life. They were busy with the preparations for the winter. You may use the garden / gazebo and swing / play trainer. If there is anything you can do with them. It is also regularly asked if you need something but leave you free too. Washing machine was broken, but action was taken immediately and there is now a new one. In the area there is a lot to do with a great diversity. Have been a number of times in this area and still not seen everything. It was once again 3 wonderful weeks in a fairytale area.
