In one of the most spectacular areas of Germany, surrounded by 2700 metre-high mountains and crystal-clear mountain lakes, lies the village of Schönau am Königssee, in the middle of the Berchtesgadener Land National Park. This nature park is the only alpine nature reserve and is recognised by UNESCO as a special conservation area for animals such as the ibex and eagle and plants such as the edelweiss. The steep mountain ridge of the Watzmann towers above it all, which is covered in snow almost all year round and offers fantastic hiking opportunities. You can take the Jennerbahn cable car up to great heights and go on various hikes through the Alpine landscape at the top. These spacious and comfortably furnished flats are located on the edge of Schönau. If you are looking for comfortable accommodation in a fantastic setting, then Schönau am Königssee is the place for you!

The location was very disappointing. Our bedroom was right on the road. It was very hot, so windows open. But we were very much affected by passing traffic on the main weg.Wij saw anyone to receive us and even tell the ins and outs. The remainder also seen none of the week. No information in the apartment about the environment, advice, tips.Niets on waste disposal. Very few dishes. For questions we had to call someone who was often unavailable. It said there would be a general garden. That has proved not to be so. There was one seat in a corner for general use. Fortunately, the setting was lovely.

Since this is an attic apartment, it is larger 1.80 cm only suitable for people. Droops within the whole house. The apartment seemed altogether worn and carelessly equipped. In high season we would not book the apartment (price \/ performance). Location is good starting point for walks (Königssee \/ Berchtesgaden). Confirmed performance wireless did not work in this apartment. The highlight is the view of the Watzmann.

An apartment for 2 not too great people, nice location not far from eatery. For hikers many options close by and further afield. Route 443 is a challenge for experienced hikers with many beautiful photo opportunities. The card gives visitors the delivered many Reduced prices available nearby and free travel by bus.
