The village of Altenau, home to a population of 700, is located in the upper Ammertal region at a height 838 m. In this sunny place on the edge of the village, you spend your holiday in this cozy flat. The fireplace in the spacious living room makes for a cozy atmosphere on those cold nights. The accommodation is very good, but the requirements set by the owner are ridiculous. You are not allowed to enter with shoes on. Wifi you have to ask for. At night, the wifi turns off because she doesn't want any radiation in the house. Do not cycle too far with the E-bike, because charging the batteries does not happen 'by itself'.
These kinds of situations influence the holiday fun. On the other hand, the apartment is very clean, very beautiful and fully furnished.

The welcome was very warm. The accommodation had never been so super clean. Also very spacious and fully equipped. Spacious bathroom with toilet and separate toilet. I had read in reviews that the landlady asks to put on slippers (that is often done in this environment) and that's why we took something ourselves. But they are also present.The view from the spacious balcony is magnificent and impressive. The landlord has a lot of tourist information available there is so much to do, that one holiday falls short. Never rented a fully equipped home. Especially for those who want to cook themselves, there is really a lot of convenience. The house is also very spacious separate kitchen, living room, bathroom, WC. From the balcony you have a beautiful view of the mountains. Thanks to the good weather it was a nice breakfast in the morning. Because you stay at the foot of the Alps, there are many long-distance cycling routes (AAR and BKR) for hikers and cyclists from the house. Comfortable cycling, some MB trails (more spicy) and hikers can also enter the mountains. The numerous lakes in the area are worthwhile. With Neuschwanstein and Linderhof two beautiful castles, the Wieskerk (Unescower Heritage) and the Monastery in Ettal and of course many other monasteries and churches, of course, there is also enough cultural diversity.

The owner is very careful with her floor and we were with slippers inside. Tip take own slippers with you! If you suffer from allergies Dons bring your own pillow. The location was also perfect. From the living room, bedroom and balcony a magnificent view of the mountains. From Altenau easily accessible. Kinds of beautiful locations quickly Beautiful villages and towns nearby. And the Zugspitze, the highest mountain in Germany at 40 km. Ability to recreate 6 km away. Around a lake Beautiful hiking and cycling gebieden.De very hospitable owner has a lot of documentation in the apartment to make day trips etc.. Overall a lovely holiday in a place where you can relax and equipped returns. A small minus is the mountain train horn does occasionally through the unguarded crossings ... but you get used to!

The welcome was very warm. The accommodation had never been so super clean. Also very spacious and fully equipped. Spacious bathroom with toilet and separate toilet. I had read in reviews that the landlady asks to put on slippers (that is often done in this environment) and that's why we took something ourselves. But they are also present.The view from the spacious balcony is magnificent and impressive. The landlord has a lot of tourist information available there is so much to do, that one holiday falls short. We stayed last week in this beautifully equipped, super clean apartment. The welcome was very warm, the stove was burning which gave a very nice homely feeling. The view is beautiful, especially now with the sneeuw.Mooie environment where there is much to do and see.

The apartment was great to find. It is in a nice area and it is a spacious and very clean apartment. Only the shower is less comfortable. It is located in a bath, under a sloping roof and you cannot stand under the shower head, you have to hold it yourself.

Beautiful apartment with beautiful view from balcony on the first floor of a detached house. The owner lives downstairs. This gave us a landlady feeling. Had to take off our shoes in front of the door and put on the ready slippers .... WiFi was closed at 10 pm because that gives radiation ...

We were received by a friendly hostess! The accommodation is on a very spacious top floor and is very clean! From the balcony you have a beautiful panoramic view of a truly beautiful environment. In the distance you can see the Zugspitse massif!
