This 1-bedroom apartment in Hüttenthal (Mossautal) is beautifully situated for a retreat with a small family or 3 persons. The apartment has a private furnished terrace and a charcoal barbecue to enjoy smoked meals with a glass of wine.
Hüttenthal-Mossautal is a quiet holiday resort in the nature park Bergstraße-Odenwald. Numerous activities are possible there, such as hiking, carriage rides, fishing, horseback riding, etc. There is a lake at 1 km, perfect for enjoying nature. At 2 km, you have grocery stores and restaurants. Enjoy exploring the local streets, culture, and life at the town center, 5 km away.
This ground floor apartment has a separate entrance and is equipped with central heating. There is a coffee machine in the open kitchen to grab a cup of coffee anytime. The house is a walk away from the ocean and fresh fish BBQ in the garden was great. The harbor is a short drive and cozy. It did not meet our expectations thoughthe house has no real view (houses and fences are built around it). The house is usefull pretty worn out and does not look as if it was renovated by professionals (examples You can hear every little sound crystal-clear Throughout the house a smell of gas shower did not work as it should ...). The kitchen itself was ok but pans, knives etc shouldhave leg Replaced already. Some basic stuff for late arrivals would be nice too (coffee, pasta ...). In short, this house itself is in our view ok for lightly packed walkers and nature lovers That Are not looking for comfort. It is not the best choice for families with (little) children.

Upon receiving coffee and cake in the apartment a bottle of wine. On the photo 's seemed the cottage rather small but there is a spacious hallway, large bathroom and bedroom, so you can all your stuff easily lost. The kitchen was really over completely, so you have nothing to bring your own. The apartment sitting at the garden of the family so you have two nice seating outside and views of the hills and forests, very nice. Very nice people! They really overalls thought of. We were there with a baby of eight months old and when we arrived there was a crib and high chair beside a tricycle and reading books ready. very nice. Great places in the neighborhood, was to be seen. Also, it was arranged that every day fresh rolls warden delivered by the baker. very fijn.Het only negative thing I can think of is the wifi. This works fine in the hallway and bedroom barely in the living room, but otherwise really great! Really recommended this stay.

We had a wonderful holiday in this cottage. Very complete, all the trimmings. Plenty of towels. And very welcoming! Fam. Katze wants you to really make sense without being intrusive. We cycled a lot to our e bikes. Was doable. Sometimes even walk as it was too steep. But especially along the Neckar bike (20 km. Away) was stunning. Especially if it is above 30 gr. is. Beds a little too hard for us, but still slept well. Conclusion to recommend!

My crease and I have here the guest freedom as very literally and highly enjoyable experience. Reception with coffee and homemade cakes. Bottle of wine. Where necessary, taken ample time for the guest. The interior is very complete. Even washcloths are not forgotten. Here one has really just take the body good. Especially hikers are well catered for. Many maps, bicycle, pedestrian and car. Beautiful nature and culture. During our stay there was a snowfall of more than 20cm! Our week could not go wrong. Our stay at Ferienwohnung Katzer was an extraordinary experience. The family Katzer was always there for us and was very friendly and helpful. The cottage itself has everything you need so you only need to bring personal items. It is located in a quiet village in the middle of the Odenwald, so a great view from the breakfast table! The forests are perfect for long walks and the many picturesque villages and towns nearby are ideal for day trips. Ourselves including Michelstadt, Erbach, Buchen, Heidelberg, and Weinheim Heppenheim visited and earn more without recommendation! Mannheim is rather a modern city where one can perfectly go shopping. In Hüttenthal itself is a Molkerei where all kinds of fresh dairy products at economical prices can buy. The apartment of the fam Katzer is an excellent starting point for setting Odenwald. Lots to see: popular cities (Heidelberg, Darmstadt), the World quarry in Messel, castles and museums, and in addition, many hiking and mountain bike trails. A well maintained and attractive accommodation which is part of the house where the hospitable landlords themselves live. On arrival we were welcomed with coffee and cake in the house was a bottle Dornfelder waiting for us. The accommodation is on one floor and the car beside the house could be parked in the driveway. All windows and door screens so that you have within you not bothered by flying insects. We spent 2 weeks had a wonderful holiday with the family Katzer. We are not treated as guests but as tenants. Frau Katzer has been a wonderful hostess, so we rarely make it. The cottage is fully equipped with a spacious garden and a nice zitje.We had never been in the Odenwald, but this is our very birth. The walks are very well marked and you walk easily from one to the other walk. The weather has also greatly contributed so one day we could pull out after all days. The house is quite complete. Everything is there, from toilet paper to a hairdryer. The family is always ready to help with a route, or an address (in our case) from a pharmacy. We were welcomed by Renate Katzer with coffee and homemade strawberry tart. The house was just fine everything clean and tidy, everything a person needs is there, nice garden terrace at our disposal, helpful and very friendly people. We had a fun and relaxing holiday there are several nice towns in the vicinity, you can walk but good bike for more trained among us (sometimes very style) in short a must!

This isa fantastic holiday. Not overly large but perfect for two or three persons and equipped with all comforts. The friendliness of the landlord is very warming. They do everything to make you feel at. We were always asking if we missed something in the house, because if so then was ensured. They make a good contact very much, but you will definitely not bother if you do not prijsopsteld. The setting is beautiful and very versatile. There is something for everyone. The apartment of the fam Katzer is an excellent starting point for setting Odenwald. A well maintained and attractive accommodation which is part of the house where the hospitable landlords themselves live. On arrival we were welcomed with coffee and cake in the house was a bottle Dornfelder waiting for us. The accommodation is on one floor and the car beside the house could be parked in the driveway. We spent 2 weeks had a wonderful holiday with the family Katzer. We are not treated as guests but as tenants. Frau Katzer has been a wonderful hostess, so we rarely make it. The cottage is fully equipped with a spacious garden and a nice zitje.We had never been in the Odenwald, but this is our very birth. The walks are very well marked and you walk easily from one to the other walk. The weather has also greatly contributed so one day we could pull out after all days. Erbach and Michelstadt the cities nearby that are worth viewing.

Renate and Hans are all friendly and very hospitable people. (Including coffee and cake on arrival). Great holiday in a peaceful environment with all the trimmings. A beautiful garden with stunning views. Less than 40 meters walk a trout pond where also freshly smoked trout is for sale. Hüttenthal has much to offer in the vicinity. Beautiful old towns with beautiful old towns and a lot of half-timbered houses including Erbach, Amorbach etc. etc. and slightly further afield including Heidelberg, Heppenheim, not to mention the Sinsheim Auto und Technik Museum. Here you have to take a whole day off. It was a fantastic holiday, we got some alone time deficit.

Upon receiving coffee and cake in the apartment a bottle of wine. On the photo 's seemed the cottage rather small but there is a spacious hallway, large bathroom and bedroom, so you can all your stuff easily lost. The kitchen was really over completely, so you have nothing to bring your own. The apartment sitting at the garden of the family so you have two nice seating outside and views of the hills and forests, very nice. Very nice people! They really overalls thought of. We were there with a baby of eight months old and when we arrived there was a crib and high chair beside a tricycle and reading books ready. very nice. Great places in the neighborhood, was to be seen. Also, it was arranged that every day fresh rolls warden delivered by the baker. very fijn.Het only negative thing I can think of is the wifi. This works fine in the hallway and bedroom barely in the living room, but otherwise really great! Really recommended this stay.

We had a wonderful holiday in this cottage. Very complete, all the trimmings. Plenty of towels. And very welcoming! Fam. Katze wants you to really make sense without being intrusive. We cycled a lot to our e bikes. Was doable. Sometimes even walk as it was too steep. But especially along the Neckar bike (20 km. Away) was stunning. Especially if it is above 30 gr. is. Beds a little too hard for us, but still slept well. Conclusion to recommend!

Our stay at Ferienwohnung Katzer was an extraordinary experience. The family Katzer was always there for us and was very friendly and helpful. The cottage itself has everything you need so you only need to bring personal items. It is located in a quiet village in the middle of the Odenwald, so a great view from the breakfast table! The forests are perfect for long walks and the many picturesque villages and towns nearby are ideal for day trips. Ourselves including Michelstadt, Erbach, Buchen, Heidelberg, and Weinheim Heppenheim visited and earn more without recommendation! Mannheim is rather a modern city where one can perfectly go shopping. In Hüttenthal itself is a Molkerei where all kinds of fresh dairy products at economical prices can buy. Renate had a very nice stay at Katzer. We received a warm welcome with tea and cake. They even called on when we were leaving the weather en route.
