We were welcoming and friendly by the administrators. The house was above expectations, very spacious and completely equipped with shutters. There was a kind of porch, next to the living room and a large dining kitchen. The master bedroom is very spacious, other bedroom also fine. The bathroom is not very big but with all luxury! Also nice TV with Dutch channels. We had a very hot week and we searched a lot of the forests. The surroundings are beautiful, also quiet compared to other German areas such as the Eifel and the Sauerland. As we are hikers we have walked wonderfully. The only downside is the location on the main road opposite a nursery, which gave a lot of trouble in the early morning.

4 adults had a great week, beds were good and everything in the kitchen. If we would have a minus, this is the toilet next to the living room, it has a large sink which ensures that you have to sit as a kind of limbo dancer on the toilet. In finding the surroundings are beautiful hiking and biking trails. The places and Kirn Idar- Oberstein are also recommended, for Cochem (Mosel) wine enthusiast. The trails of Traumschleifen are well marked and range from mild to very serious but always very nice. Our most beautiful trail was hahnenbachtaltour. We will probably still go back to this beautiful area.

Fine and very well kept holiday home. Neat, clean and well equipped. Fantastic views, wonderful hiking opportunities in the immediate vicinity (also spotted deer there) and plenty to do and see within 30-60 minutes drive. Very nice that it was possible to bring our dog. Not to comment on the house itself, only the dogs of the neighbors were sometimes quite noisy and watchful, but after a few days they were apparently used to us and beat them not so often. The people in the village are very friendly and helpful and happy to help you out with anything and everything.

Pleasant stay in renovated large house with well fitted kitchen and ultra modern shower. Living little outdated (seats) but with flatscreen and DVD player and hifi. Good beds. Quiet.

We have had a wonderful holiday of 3 weeks. The neighbors were very friendly and helpful. The house was complete with a great kitchen, nice beds and a super luxury shower. In one of the bedrooms had a cot and there was a chair. The village is quiet. At 5 km (by car) is a large supermarket. There is much to do in the area of u200bu200bculture. Larger cities like Trier, Mainz are 1 hour drive.

We have had a wonderful holiday in this beautiful and luxurious house. The setting is beautiful. Wonderful for walking and also for touring. Within half an hour you're on the Moselle. But the Hunsrück is prachtig.Aanrader the way of Rhaunen to Kirn. Beautiful uitzichten.Ook Idar-Oberstein is a must. The gemstone museum daar.De restaurants are within walking distance. Simple but good and not expensive!

Fine and very well kept holiday home. Neat, clean and well equipped. Fantastic views, wonderful hiking opportunities in the immediate vicinity (also spotted deer there) and plenty to do and see within 30-60 minutes drive. Very nice that it was possible to bring our dog. Not to comment on the house itself, only the dogs of the neighbors were sometimes quite noisy and watchful, but after a few days they were apparently used to us and beat them not so often. The people in the village are very friendly and helpful and happy to help you out with anything and everything.
