It was a quiet week holiday in Bettenfeld. A very friendly welcome by the hostess. A well-kept house and garden. We felt at home immediately. The homemade jam and fruit cake was included and tasted good to us. It is a beautiful area for walks in the middle of the volcanic Eifel. Our favorite trip was a walk around the beautiful Lake Taller But. Definitely recommended.

We had a wonderful week in the fam. Steines.Een warm welcome, with a flower on the table and a delicious jar of jam stood klaar.Ook the dog was welcome. Cottage is complete. You feel at home. Also enjoyed the garden with a great view. Really recommended. We go for sure next year in the fall back. But not really suitable for 4 people. You can walk to great food and cheap.

Beautiful setting, very peaceful to take long walks. Also nice small towns where there is something special, like nice houses, a church, or something from the Middle Ages or Roman time.The cottage was lovely, everything is present, hosts are very nice people, also the daughter who is a wonderful cake had baked. Also delicious dinner in the local restaurant.Gerard and Corry Otker.

We basically had a wonderful week. Cottage is okay for 2 people. Personally I find it too small for 4 people. What I found less that there was a bed in the living room. Environment is superb! Especially, like us, for nature lovers and hikers. What I found a pity that is not listed here mentioned that there is a staircase to get to the door. The photo of the entrance does not indicate this. The entrance to the cottage is on the side below the house. Since we have a large, young dog for us this was an unpleasant surprise. We just wanted a house floor. Owner was not really fond of our dog, complained about dog hairs on the side of the bed which stood in the living room. Electricity she settles but can not control it. In our eyes it was quite expensive. (€ 19 but have 2x cooked on electric hob) No microwave and used the whole day and part night on the road. In short, a perfect cottage for 2 people without large dogs, who enjoy walking and love the outdoors.

The Eiffel volcano is not far from home and is a surprisingly quiet and pleasant area for a short break. An excellent area for hiking, biking, good-will-eat-off. Culturally, there is some effort still some to be found.

A week's holiday which is 4 ... Rest, reading, excursions, walks and rest and again were there! Complete change in a splendid and super friendly hosts! And only 2 hours drive from Brussels ... For city dwellers that we are, we took full advantage of the blooming garden and maintained by the owners. What a relief!

The village Bettenfeld is in the countryside and is quite remote, there is a small supermarket and a hotel with restaurant. For the other things you need to Manderscheid 5 km away where two old castles are and where you have beautiful views. The crater lakes impress and what is particularly striking is the silence. The apartment is clean but it opblaasbed in the living room is not really enhance the atmosphere and the two blue sofas are by now to be replaced ... shame you have to pay separately for electricity because it can build up nicely for those few days. The property is not suitable for 4 persons as indicated better for 2 people. Moreover, owners are very nice and are glad to have a chat, the neighbors indeed.

Friendly host. The wifi was too weak for example google earth to join or to Skype, which was a bit unfortunate for us. Is underway according to the host. The water in the kitchen was not to get more than lukewarm, even in the shower it did not rise above 38 degrees, according to the host will be monthly with hot water flushed against legionella so there is a lot of thought. The holiday is actually suitable for 2 persons bed in the living room (for person 3 and 4) is not really practical, it would be up to a sofa bed the already small living room would also cozier can be arranged. The house was also very complete and a great starting point for hikes.

The apartment is in a very quiet village near the Mosenberg. You can walk, bike or swim in fine weather in the Meerfelder But if the pool in Manderscheid (5 km). Shops and restaurants also in Manderscheid, unfortunately no bakery or small store in Bettenfeld itself. Apartment just fine, and the little private garden (facing east, so breakfast on the terrace) is very pleasant. Owners very friendly, nice daughter has even played with their grandchild.

We ziin a week in mid October and have been very nice weather. The house is equipped with every comfort and also nice and clean. The beds are made and there was even a jar of homemade jam on the counter ready for us. The owner is a very helpful woman. We had our cat and bring her bench. The owner thought that was very funny to see how she is in there. We have visited the wildlife park in Daun. Definitely recommended, the entry price is definitely paying. (€ 7.00 per person). We also went to the Eagles and wolf park in Kassel Berg been, again affordable. The volcanic lakes are also recommended. It is a fine huiis, you should however stairs expire before you can enter.

It was a nice quiet getaway The cabin was good and clean with a piece of garden where you could sit pretty. The owners were friendly without being intrusive. Too bad that there was no store was more for groceries. For this, you first had now five kilometers reizen.Geweldige environment for long hiking trips. Also beautiful places nearby eg Cochem.
