Hearty welcome with a homemade turban and local rosé.Now the Sommerrodelbahn Erbeskopf, where we have been reared a number of times. This is located halfway between the Flugausstellung in Hermeskeil, where many planes are to be admired, and a cup of hot chocolate with whipped cream may not be missing inside the Concorde plane. When driving to Trier at the Dom, Liebfrauenkirche, Porta Nigra, Hauptmarkt etc., go to Luxembourg City , Which has a very cozy inner city where many had been organized. We have a midweek in the autumn before. The cottage is very comfortable and light. We really liked that there were plants in the living room. The house is beautiful and the people are very nice and helpful. They explained us everything about what a Passifhaus is. A house without heating it was warm! The host and hostess are very friendly and nothing is too much for them. We felt very welcome with a bottle of wine and homemade goodies. There is absolutely EVERYTHING available in the house. The garden is also very nice with 2 sunbeds and 2 seating areas. The large bedroom has a lovely twin bed. You can do some excellent shopping in Morbach.

Although Merschbach is a tiny village, we still had to look for the house. The numbering is not entirely logical. Had a super week, owners do everything to make sense if necessary. In the house is everything, from children's toys to routes of the area. We were kindly received with tasty presents. What a wonderful holiday we had! A super nice and complete house, a quiet area, lots of greenery. There is a stream in the garden. Our daughters played wonderfully in the water, caught boats, etc. In addition, a lot of toys were waiting for them on arrival, which was supplemented later. The children had a great time. And we have made good use of the garden furniture / loungers. We did not lack luxury! If we had questions about the area, the owners thought along with us. The weather was beautiful, the whole week, the arrival warm with a flower and a surprise basket. The accommodation luxurious and very like. Spring sprouts at full speed. Our midweek early October we have 5 beautiful sunny days delivered in a rich nature without disturbing noises or crowds of people. The first day we were already on deer and roe deer that roamed freely in nature. Impressive but ... also that whole autumn with all life and sounds is a bliss. The rest, fresh air and the missing human noise is heavenly. Receiving overwhelmingly warm human. The house provides a great impression as a passive house. Five stars without more. A week holiday we had booked, maybe the last time for my old mother of 86. But what she enjoyed it!. Of course she could not remember everything, with her walker in the area, yet she wanted every day to go out. In the house itself she felt safe, the barrier-free format. The steps of the path to the terrace was no longer a problem to overcome. Together we saw that you could be active here, in many ways. Ms. Burkart said you could rent bikes from them or you eiegen bike sheds. Right from the apartment many opportunities for hiking, though we could then not use it. We are on our way enjoyed the scenery, the views of the Moselle, the forests and pastures from the Erbeskopf. Sitting outside now was not there. Many tourist excursions went after April 1 open. But never mind, there was still plenty to do. The Senfmühle in Cochem, wine tasting in Ernst (monastery), explore the Mosel (few people tourist season had started yet), Gemstone Museum in Idar-Oberstein, picturesque places like historic Herrnstein and Bernkastel-Kues wine museum. Had a great stay in this Nature House. A very complete and pleasant home where we felt right at home. The welcome, the tour of the house and the delicious homemade turban and fine wine certainly contributed to that! The "Passive" home is comfortable, bright and well equipped. Because we had we could also plenty of "our" outdoor terraces enjoy the beautiful weather of the world. All day sun, but also plenty of opportunities to find the shade. This is a nice house to unwind. Receipt by the Fam. Burkart was cordial. There was a nice turban finished a bottle of wine and water in the fridge. The apartment was well furnished and fully equipped, and very clean. Garden was beautiful with good chairs. A little stream along the garden called the dhron Lovely quiet spot overlooking the mountains where you can enjoy the unit that you encounter when you go upstairs.

The neat modern house is called a & quotpassive 'house. Means something like & quotaardverwarming ". The whole week we had a very pleasant temperature with a healthy air. Fantastic garden available with a running stream. Nice base for cycling and walking tours or day trips to the villages / cities around the Moselle. Beautiful area for those who love it here. This home has won a 2nd place in Best Belvilla home in Germany.

Our 5th trip happened with beautiful spring weather. For the first time we have used the loungers at the babbling brook. In the sun with a bird concert and a wild albino deer grazing at 100m distance. Which spa could object to. The reception was overwhelming. A real homecoming. For the first time our daughter who was having the time of her life. There is a ramp for wheelchair and made a cart for the luggage. Also in the bathroom shower chair added. This gives the opportunity to participate with certainty what will happen. My son on leave Virtue, he will have to!

We have been invited for the 3rd time at the Burkart family. And it was back at it! Friendly and welcoming owners, great house. Everything you need is there. We walked a lot and visited a number of cities (eg Trier and Koblenz). There were closed near some roads for maintenance. The Burkart family has always told us time here. Chapeau!

Hearty welcome with a homemade turban and local rosé.Now the Sommerrodelbahn Erbeskopf, where we have been reared a number of times. This is located halfway between the Flugausstellung in Hermeskeil, where many planes are to be admired, and a cup of hot chocolate with whipped cream may not be missing inside the Concorde plane. When driving to Trier at the Dom, Liebfrauenkirche, Porta Nigra, Hauptmarkt etc., go to Luxembourg City , Which has a very cozy inner city where many had been organized. Swimmers liked the children too. In Bitburg there is a large swimming pool (Cascade) with Black Hole slide, diving boards, etc. It is a good day to stay. When Idar-Oberstein for the Gemstone Mine, the Precious Stone Heritage Site and the Felsenkirche. The most beautiful nearby we find the town Bernkastel-Kues on the Moselle. Walking up to the Landshut castle ruins (poeh, what a climb!), A nice boat trip of the Moselle (Sunday children free) the cozy inner city, beautiful architecture with their half-timbered houses. There are very Get some ice cream and do not forget about the local wine. Of course we have gone there several times. And of course, in the coolbox, you'll find sandwiches from the bakery, which in Merschbach takes picnic in the beautiful surroundings. We zijn erg tevreden over ons verblijf, het huis is goed voor kinderen ingericht he bedjes zijn en zijn erg speelgoed en de eigenaren behulpzaam s vriendelijk. Prettig is ook een dat he basisuitrusting in de keukenkastjes is olie, Azijn, peper, zout, thee, koffiefilters etc zijn aanwezig. Omdat wij were geinteresseerd in de passiefbouw hebben de eigenaren ons here over uitgebreid geinformeerd.

We were in this lovely house from April 26th to May 10th, 2024. The host and hostess are very friendly and nothing is too much for them. We felt extremely welcome with a bottle of wine and homemade treats. Everything is really present in the house. The garden is also very nice with 2 sun loungers and 2 seating areas. The large bedroom has a lovely king-size bed. You can do your shopping fine in Morbach. We enjoyed walking in the nearby area. We also looked for a few more hiking routes by car. This apartment is a passive house which has been getting used to, but once you do it once mastered it is fine. Upon entering we were immediately greeted with a freshly baked turban and a bottle of wine in the fridge. The owners of the apartment live in the house above what the questioning is easy. The location of the house on a river is great. The village Merschbach is a small hamlet, but driving there are larger towns where supermarkets zijn.Wat I am concerned, this apartment is a must and it is not for nothing already won several awards Belvilla within fifteen minutes!

Spring was still open, sunny moments and lots of clouds but no rain and for the end of March. In the house there is a very pleasant temperatures and plenty of light. Sitting outside now was not there. Many tourist excursions went after April 1 open. But never mind, there was still plenty to do. The Senfmühle in Cochem, wine tasting in Ernst (monastery), explore the Mosel (few people tourist season had started yet), Gemstone Museum in Idar-Oberstein, picturesque places like historic Herrnstein and Bernkastel-Kues wine museum. Too bad we had to leave so quickly - that is, we go back. There's so much. Welcome to the Fam. Burkart with flowers and a gift and their helpfulness was very warm about it. Which many times thanks. Arrival was very cordial. The Easter flowers in the bouquet made it festive. We had another four days of sunshine with occasional cloud. The house has unparalleled comfort. The area is rural and an exclusive nature. No noise, a babbling brook, birdsong, burrellende deer, trees in bloom, full of flowers, insects, butterflies, and clean air. Pure nature and wonderful views of the ridges at the picnics.

The owner was ready to welcome us with a turban and a bottle of wine. She was always available for help or advice for a day out. Because the weather that week was quite nice (sunny and 20-25 degrees) we have on the days we were delicious sat outside by the water stream. The setting was very nice. Even a short walk you could be in the hills. As days out, we recommend the city of Luxembourg, Trier, Bernkastel-Kues and the top of the Erbenskopf to. In the last two you can stroll in nature. A map of a pretty diverse trail in Bernkastel-Kues is present in the house. We very much enjoyed our stay and look forward to come back again, because we have not all seen!

A great house on the ground floor. The people themselves live on the 1st floor. You have your own entrance, and a lot of privacy.
The house is ideal for up to 4 people. Everything is present and neatly taken care of. The house is also well insulated and you notice that, it is comfortable inside. It is a tiny, remote village. It is great for peace and nature seekers. The area is beautiful, you can go in various directions for excursions.

At the beginning of September we stayed for 1 week in the very comfortable home of the friendly and hospitable Burkart family. The house is quietly situated in a small village and has three terraces, one of which is on the beek. We look back on a beautiful week with lots of sun, some thunderstorms with rain and hail. A very warm welcome to us for the 4th of July in Huizen Burkart. It was fantastic again, the Burkart family had put myself a special chair for me, handicap. Everything is complete it's Super, and the Fam Burkart knows all along. The surroundings are beautifully quiet, beautiful Flora and Fauna you will encounter deer and big birds of 150 cm span. Also bike lovers are cycling along Moselle But just like me with scooter mob.

We were kindly received with tasty presents. What a wonderful holiday we had! A super nice and complete house, a quiet area, lots of greenery. There is a stream in the garden. Our daughters played wonderfully in the water, caught boats, etc. In addition, a lot of toys were waiting for them on arrival, which was supplemented later. The children had a great time. And we have made good use of the garden furniture / loungers. We did not lack luxury! If we had questions about the area, the owners thought along with us. Big plus of this house: the owner makes the garden tables dry / clean every morning. And regularly asks if there are any towels. There was a whole cupboard full (!), So we had plenty. At the end of the holiday Annette surprised our girls with a gift. You notice everything that they go all the way. A few tips: the gemstone mine in Idar-Oberbach. (For Dutch people: you can follow the tour for free with headphones) We traveled by train from Sehlem to Cochem. Very nice view, especially the last part. In Merschbach we walked to the grill hut on top of the mountain. The Ortelsbruch in Morbach is great fun for children. It is a large playground, where you can immediately take a nice walk; in the meantime you pass a launderette check. All in all a very nice holiday. If possible we will definitely come back again!

House Burkart is our birth right. The house is small. A small living / dining kitchen with a two seater sofa and a rocking chair. 2 bedrooms. 1slp. room with a two person "s bed, 1 bedroom with 1 pers. bed and a cot. The house is attractively furnished with all kinds of stuff, from electr. egg cooker, and even a hair dryer, everything is there! However, this means that all cabinets packed down and there remains much room for your groceries and food. The house is spotless and very comfortable. The house is situated in a small valley in a very small village. In the immediate vicinity there is not much to do, do you not objection 40 a 50km ride then home Burkart a great base. For shopping you have to set the 15 km from Morbach. reception by the owner is very warm and welcoming. There was for us a homemade turban and a bottle of wine ready when welcome, even the chocolate on the bedside table were not lacking. The house is suitable for 2 or 3 people max. Quite disturbing is the church that first house is away and you every morning at 7am with loud chiming waking states.

We have been invited for the 3rd time at the Burkart family. And it was back at it! Friendly and welcoming owners, great house. Everything you need is there. We walked a lot and visited a number of cities (eg Trier and Koblenz). There were closed near some roads for maintenance. The Burkart family has always told us time here. Chapeau!

We were in on arrival welcomed by Mrs. Burkart, who brought us around the house then we were very surprised by the kompleete home and we lacked for nothing whatsoever. R nWhat you could need was then in the house of hand and tea towels to bath towels to allow the use of the washing machine was possible, even a nice turban cake which was very tasty. Also everything is neat and clean We thank you for the hospitality and her husband for help with the problems I had with the internet that he has solved fine for me. Cottage is very well finished, neat and clean and everything in terms of linens and more present. Price / quality at a much higher level than a holiday cottage! Lovely spacious for two adults and a child of 7. (Hall, bathroom, living room / kitchen and two bedrooms with one and two bed) Upon arrival, we were spoiled a tasty turban, and refrigerate a bottle of wine and water. Nice garden with 2 terraces and babbling brook. Very quiet and beautiful surroundings for hiking, cycling / mountain biking (three fixed routes Thalfang within cycling distance). For more commotion trips to the Moselle towns of Cochem and Trier, among others. Large outdoor swimming pool in Morbach is nearby. Toboggan Erbeskopf Thalfang.Kortom in a week was too short and compliment the Burkart family!

After a long and hectic school year this holiday was exactly that which we needed. In a more than fully equipped holiday we could enjoy the quiet and beautiful area of \u200b\u200bthe Merschbach.Voor trips to Koblenz, Trier, Bernkastel and Hermeskeil / Merschbach Thalfang was reasonable on the route to the aanvoerroutes.Wij look back on a wonderful week.
