Hearty welcome with a homemade turban and local rosé.Now the Sommerrodelbahn Erbeskopf, where we have been reared a number of times. This is located halfway between the Flugausstellung in Hermeskeil, where many planes are to be admired, and a cup of hot chocolate with whipped cream may not be missing inside the Concorde plane. When driving to Trier at the Dom, Liebfrauenkirche, Porta Nigra, Hauptmarkt etc., go to Luxembourg City , Which has a very cozy inner city where many had been organized. We zijn erg tevreden over ons verblijf, het huis is goed voor kinderen ingericht he bedjes zijn en zijn erg speelgoed en de eigenaren behulpzaam s vriendelijk. Prettig is ook een dat he basisuitrusting in de keukenkastjes is olie, Azijn, peper, zout, thee, koffiefilters etc zijn aanwezig. Omdat wij were geinteresseerd in de passiefbouw hebben de eigenaren ons here over uitgebreid geinformeerd.

This apartment is a passive house which has been getting used to, but once you do it once mastered it is fine. Upon entering we were immediately greeted with a freshly baked turban and a bottle of wine in the fridge. The owners of the apartment live in the house above what the questioning is easy. The location of the house on a river is great. Spring was still open, sunny moments and lots of clouds but no rain and for the end of March. In the house there is a very pleasant temperatures and plenty of light. Sitting outside now was not there. Many tourist excursions went after April 1 open. But never mind, there was still plenty to do. The Senfmühle in Cochem, wine tasting in Ernst (monastery), explore the Mosel (few people tourist season had started yet), Gemstone Museum in Idar-Oberstein, picturesque places like historic Herrnstein and Bernkastel-Kues wine museum. Arrival was very cordial. The Easter flowers in the bouquet made it festive. We had another four days of sunshine with occasional cloud. The house has unparalleled comfort. The area is rural and an exclusive nature. No noise, a babbling brook, birdsong, burrellende deer, trees in bloom, full of flowers, insects, butterflies, and clean air. The owner was ready to welcome us with a turban and a bottle of wine. She was always available for help or advice for a day out. A great house on the ground floor. The people themselves live on the 1st floor. You have your own entrance, and a lot of privacy.

We were kindly received with tasty presents. What a wonderful holiday we had! A super nice and complete house, a quiet area, lots of greenery. There is a stream in the garden. Our daughters played wonderfully in the water, caught boats, etc. In addition, a lot of toys were waiting for them on arrival, which was supplemented later. The children had a great time. And we have made good use of the garden furniture / loungers. We did not lack luxury! If we had questions about the area, the owners thought along with us. Big plus of this house: the owner makes the garden tables dry / clean every morning. And regularly asks if there are any towels. There was a whole cupboard full (!), So we had plenty. At the end of the holiday Annette surprised our girls with a gift. You notice everything that they go all the way. A few tips: the gemstone mine in Idar-Oberbach. (For Dutch people: you can follow the tour for free with headphones) We traveled by train from Sehlem to Cochem. Very nice view, especially the last part. In Merschbach we walked to the grill hut on top of the mountain. The Ortelsbruch in Morbach is great fun for children. It is a large playground, where you can immediately take a nice walk; in the meantime you pass a launderette check. All in all a very nice holiday. If possible we will definitely come back again!

House Burkart is our birth right. The house is small. The neat modern house is called a & quotpassive 'house. Means something like & quotaardverwarming ". The whole week we had a very pleasant temperature with a healthy air. Fantastic garden available with a running stream. Nice base for cycling and walking tours or day trips to the villages / cities around the Moselle. Beautiful area for those who love it here. This home has won a 2nd place in Best Belvilla home in Germany.

This holiday was a revelation for us. Rarely, if ever we came out so good a nice big apartment, a very quiet rural area, well located for excursions to include the Mosel, Trier etc ... but above all very welcoming and gave to the smallest detail hosts earn definitely a compliment. After arrival (then planted a little later) we were welcomed by the Burkart family. After a short and clear tour we had rich only. Immediately take a piece of fresh delicious Pastry Turban she had baked for us and a sip of water which she had put in the fridge for us as do the shopping in the area. The Burkart family does everything to make the stay as relaxing and carefree Merschbach do expire. Everything is also present in the house, and was also very complete ... Small problem with the internet had and that was immediately resolved so we worked our connection problems again. We had a wonderful week at our holiday home in Merschbach.Het house was excellent very clean and well voorzien.De fam Burkart was very nice and wanted to help you with anything if need They may end for us romantic fire lit in the garden at the beekje.We have cycled along the Moselle, made trips to Trier and Cochem all in all a wonderful vakantieen definitely worth again to go back.

Very nice and quiet cottage, for quietness is a must, there are lovely walks to do from the house, the owners are super friendly and help wherever they kunnen.Voor trips to the Moselle, however, you just grab the car.

Sometimes you ever doubt the earlier reviews on a holiday but we can not but praise write about the house, the owner and the environment. The fam Bukart is very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The house is in a very quiet area the deer walk within sight 's morning and "evening in the forest. There is internet in the house what to search for trips easy. The family Bukart in a modest way that makes you feel very at home Volet. Nearby you can enjoy walking at 3 km distance you can good food, about 10 km there are enough supermarkets. In 2011, April and September we summery conditions known. This year there was a catch by regen.Wandelen went a little less, because we are not so keen were soaked. But ... throughout midweek we have dealt with the gemstone route. (Copper Mine, gemstone grinding, gem museum, cultural monuments, ... and much more) in fine weather came it not. It is more than worth it. At home waited a lovely warm apartment with all comfort.Wij go back and have still not seen everything. Sun or rain, the holiday has passed.

We were looking for a quiet place to relax after refueling and to charge us for the busy daily work. We have a wonderful holiday with the fam Burkart had. A warm welcome by the family, tour the house was fine, with questions we could always rely on them, very attentive. Really enjoyed the environment, including fine walks and cycling tours. There were a lot of leaflets available for excursions. Great cottage located under the house of the friendly family Burkart. Everything was there, to detergents and coffee filters. Also there is a lot of information documentation in the cottage, very convenient. The cottage was also very schoon.Merschbach is very remote, no range with the mobile phone and the nearest supermarket is at 15 km. Be quiet this. It stops only occasional SRV car or a car from the bakery in the hamlet. Places like Trier, Idar-Oberstein are easily accessible by car as well as other interesting places in the Moselle and Hunsrück. Also a good starting place for walks and fietstochten.Wij recommend this cottage!

Although Merschbach is a tiny village, we still had to look for the house. The numbering is not entirely logical. The house is not in front of the numbers 7 and 9, but a little further on the right side of the road. We recognized the house from the Belvilla photo. We were warmly welcomed by the hostess and the much-praised cake / turban was also waiting for us / We enjoyed it. The hostess was also kind enough to help us unpack. The house is a nice home for two people. The living / kitchen combination is somewhat smaller than the photos suggest, but the bedrooms and the bathroom are wonderfully spacious. The garden around the house is very nicely laid out. The area of the village is very relaxing. But there is more than enough in it the wider perimeter Although we had autumnal weather, we had a great time!

The weather was beautiful, the whole week, the arrival warm with a flower and a surprise basket. The accommodation luxurious and very like. Spring sprouts at full speed. Birds flew, the brook clattered, the greenery and the floral splendor faded. Two young Hindus on the side of the forest. Also due to the limited mobility it was pure pleasure during rehabilitation. Enjoy little human sound and peace. That is to be done. For the first time we used the loungers on the brook in the sun.

We have a midweek in the autumn before. The cottage is very comfortable and light. We really liked that there were plants in the living room. The house is beautiful and the people are very nice and helpful. They explained us everything about what a Passifhaus is. A house without heating it was warm! Fantastic conceived and very good for the environment. We had a very nice week with wonderful autumn walks. The area is ideal for hiking, there are trails everywhere with a good hiking (VVV Morbach at the Rathaus, open from 8.00-12.00 hours) well to combine into a "private" wandeling.Kortom a must, Wim and Ineke

A great house on the ground floor. The people themselves live on the 1st floor. You have your own entrance, and a lot of privacy.
The house is ideal for up to 4 people. Everything is present and neatly taken care of. The house is also well insulated and you notice that, it is comfortable inside. It is a tiny, remote village. It is great for peace and nature seekers. The area is beautiful, you can go in various directions for excursions.
Very nice for a week away.

What a nice house. And what nice people. A wonderful environment for us walkers, at the end of the valley, you can walk straight into the forest. The most complete house ever: heavily insulated, wonderful beds, a very well-equipped kitchen, large windows overlooking the valley and terraces on the south and west. Beautiful garden by the stream, in a wonderfully quiet valley. With the occasional bus. Restaurant 1.7 kilometers away is excellent. Recommended!

We zijn erg tevreden over ons verblijf, het huis is goed voor kinderen ingericht he bedjes zijn en zijn erg speelgoed en de eigenaren behulpzaam s vriendelijk. Prettig is ook een dat he basisuitrusting in de keukenkastjes is olie, Azijn, peper, zout, thee, koffiefilters etc zijn aanwezig. Omdat wij were geinteresseerd in de passiefbouw hebben de eigenaren ons here over uitgebreid geinformeerd.
