This comfortable apartment in Wienrode makes for the perfect choice for a couple looking for a vacation up in the mountains of Harz. There is a furnished garden, shared with the owner, where you can sunbathe during the day and set up barbecue grills in the evening, while your kids play on the swing set. Parking is also available on the premises.
The lakebeach at 5 km will make the water babies happy. A well-signposted network of hiking trails offer the right tour for every requirement. In winter, well-groomed trails, cleared winter hiking trails, toboggan runs and various ski areas delight the holidaymaker's heart. There are also excursions nearby including Rübeland at 10 km with a show mine, stalactite cave, cable car, Hasselfelde at 15 km with Pullman City, Quedlinburg and Halberstadt at 25 km.

The owners were super nice and the apartment was beautifully situated in the inner courtyard. The apartment was nice and big and you can sit and eat directly in the kitchen. The TV was also a good size. Unfortunately, what wasn't so nice was that there was no WiFi in the apartment (the signal doesn't reach the apartment) and it was a bit difficult for tall people (1.87m) because the bed was very short and unfortunately on one side also very saggy and the shower was very deep. Nevertheless, you can spend a very nice time there 😊
