The apartment is well located, just a short drive from the beautiful Blankenburg Castle. The living area was spacious and had a great atmosphere, especially with the fireplace. We appreciated the charging station for our electric car, which made our stay even more convenient.

It was a super great week in the DORA accommodation. We were very warmly welcomed by Doreen. She handed over to us this absolutely beautiful, bright, and friendly feel-good oasis with many small details. Nothing was missing. Absolutely recommendable.

The house itself is absolutely great. Very complete and cozy furnished. Reception super friendly. The only downside we found was that there is quite a lot of noise from passing traffic, including many motorcycles.

We particularly enjoyed the dining options nearby, especially Cäsar und Cleopatra for a delicious meal. A solid choice for a relaxing getaway.

Very nice and clean cottage and super nice hosts who gave us a lot of tips and suggestions for things to do in the area. We really enjoyed our vacation there. The house has everything you need for a relaxing holiday. In front of the house you have a large terrace with plenty of seating, an extendable awning to sit in the shade, a grill and a fire basket where you can enjoy your own small campfire. In addition, Blankenburg is a very beautiful city with many sights and the ideal starting point for hikes and many other activities. All in all it was a perfect holiday and if everything works out we'll be back next year.

Very nice house with all the necessary items, however remember to bring your on bed linen and towels. The terrace is nice, there is a barbecue and fire pit, which is available to use if the weather is calm. The house was very clean when we arrived. So much to see around, especially for the guests with car. And as a bonus, you can charge your car while your stay, with reasonable price/kWh, but only with temporary slow charger - and with an extension cord, so no charging if it is raining... Overall, very nice experience and top hosts! Very friendly couple and they live next door if you need anything! Highly recommended!

After a long journey we were very happy to reach our small, idyllic and very comfortably furnished apartment. We were warmly received. The surroundings, as well as Blankenburg itself are very attractive for nature and culture lovers. The landlords give good tips and are interested in a lively exchange. But there is always a lot of emphasis on privacy. Unfortunately, we have not seen everything in our 10 days stay, hiking and exploring, so we probably want to go back to the Harz. Gladly again with this accommodation.
