The location of the house directly on the Bode is very nice. The support of the landlord in solving a personal problem was excellent! Thanks again for that !!

We really enjoyed the nice quiet area. The apartment looked great and with 2 young kids, the garden was protected. The next time we go to this place longer.

Neat accommodation, spacious and complete. Terrain also lovely with the river, the veranda with fireplace, great. The kids have a good time with the (mini) football table and of course in the river. Wonderful walking in the area and lots to do.

We (family with two children aged 12 and 15 years) are welcomed by the Dutch-speaking hostess. We enjoyed a spacious and atmospheric huis.De environment is slightly less spectacular than we had expected. Still a nice walk in the woods.

I would just like to thank Wichert and Dagmar for their very warm welcome at 'Der alte Kutscherhof'. We felt at home straight away! The property is well situated for walks and runs in lovely countryside with a large stream following the valley floor. The interior of the apartment has been renovated to a high standard and the beds are very comfortable. It is well placed for day trips to Wernigerode, Thale and other cultural towns in the Harz and for winter sports lovers, Braunlager is only 15 - 20min drive away. The 'Harz Schmalspur Bahnen' runs near by - we took the train from Drei Ahnen Hohne, well worth doing, the journey up to the Brocken was spectacular! The only down side was the lack of snow - but you can't have everything. However, the scenery of the Harz more than made up for it! The only reason I gave a 6 for cleaning was that the down stairs washing machine was out of use when we were there - as it turned out, I only had to do one quick hand wash, so it wasn't a real issue. Once again, thank you to Dagmar and her family for making us feel most welcome. We look forward to visiting again.

When we Suse Burg (hamlet of the municipality R فج country) came in, we were shocked to rot away, we drove past a row of abandoned houses and did not look very cozy. But the house itself was not too bad, the inside is fine. Outside we found the some sleazy, the house needed to be painted and the play are tatty. For young children it is a nice place with the river as the door, the cooled thereby "lovely evening out. This hamlet is located in the former East Germany and that is to note, good at the tourist office, we asked for an internet cafe but it was nowhere to be found in the area and the house itself has no Wifi, that our oldest children were not as nice. Area is very suitable for hiking, the woods are beautiful. The house is difficult to achieve because at the moment the bridge in R فج land is out of use, it was not until 2014 (Editor's note: Bridge is now open again) Because all construction is the village R فج country therefore less fun with the kids, we walked, we.. visited Quedlinburg (recommended!), went to a very nice wave in Bad Lauterbach and was with the elevator at Thale to the animal. Also a few times in swimming pool in R فج country has been (a m

We had a nice week in a beautiful spacious apartment. The Dutch owners are very helpful and welcoming. There are lovely walks and visit enjoyable. Our teenagers have not missed the wifi. Actually, we liked that there was no wifi!

Unfortunately, we arrived much later than planned, because the road was blocked to the house and we had no information about it. Only after several telephone conversations with the owners in Holland we found a short cut, which meant a detour of more than 10 km by a chalk mine. Getting there was quite an adventure, either through Kalkerk, or directly by the Bode, which passes right at home. unfortunately detracts from the under construction bridge the experience of nature, as the land is still very marked by the construction site character.

Yes, the arrival was not spectacular. We received the neighbor from our accommodation. The accommodation itself was fine. It was clean. What you can do even better is that it is very badly soundproofed from the bathroom. Since one would have wished that the door had no ventilation. The door to the large double room should be made, it hardly closes. Especially when you are driving with several people. A proper description of the WiFi reception should be revised again. The described table tennis table and billiard is not available, which really annoyed us because we bought extra rackets. We also couldn't use the existing garage. It's a shame. Otherwise everything is there. The environment is good. All close by. For shopping you can go to Edeka in Elbingerode. Wish everyone a nice vacation.
