Enjoy a holiday in the centrally situated village of Hüttenrode at this 2-bedroom apartment. The apartment is located in an old farmhouse on a high plateau in Hüttenrode (Harz district) and is centrally located to the cities of Wernigerode, Quedlinburg, Halberstadt, Thale. Sitting on the balcony, you can enjoy the lovely views and wait for the dusk to light up the grill. The apartment is perfect for a small family or 4 persons. In the garden there is a separate seating area with a grill, swing and slide, sandpit and a large trampoline (use at your own risk). A table tennis table is also available and can be set up if required. In addition, the garden offers you several opportunities to sit and relax.
Hüttenrode lies ideal for making day trips. You will reach historical interesting cities such as Quedlinburg, Wernigerode, and Blankenburg within half an hour. The many hiking courses of which the Harz is known for are easily reachable. Grocery stores are 500 m away while restaurants are at 1 km. The town center at 7 km is great to enjoy the streetscape and local life.
There's a shared furnished garden to savor delicious meals prepared in the well-equipped kitchen. Children can play in the sandpit, jump on the trampoline, or romp on the playground. A children's bed and high-chair is present. Parking is available. The kitchen has the most modern equipment such as a dishwasher, large refrigerator with three freezer compartments, microwave, ceramic hob, coffee maker, coffee pad machine, kettle, toaster and oven with convection oven. The bathroom is equipped with a shower and toilet. There is also a washing machine here. In each of the two bedrooms there is a smart TV with satellite reception. If you opt for the laundry package when booking, you can expect made beds after your arrival. Of course, free WiFi is also available. The apartment has 2 parking spaces on the property. The apartment is very child-friendly (high-chair and travel cot available, so you save space on your arrival!). Unfortunately, the apartment is not barrier-free. Smoking in the apartment and pets are not permitted! Furthermore, the use of the pool located on the property is prohibited!

We were a bit shocked by the steep staircase, the only entrance to the upper floor. People who are bad leg, we do not recommend this. We found the house clean but outdated. Nowhere luxury. furniture on the terrace are good for a shorter seat. The garden is behind and was not used by us. Belongs to the owner and not lured us to sit down.

Very nice apartment, tastefully decorated and very efficient, everything has been thought of: iron, hair dryer, soap, dishwashing sponge .... Excellent bedden.Zeer net.Mogelijkheid to rent sheets and towels certainly pluspunt.Sympathieke details like chocolate on the pillow . cleaning afterwards at affordable prijs.Zeer cordial and friendly gastvrouw.Alleen the location of the house we had calmer verwacht.Dus with a set of earbuds for dogs barking or cars passing "s definitely a must!

A very comfortable and clean house, we were here in late October and despite the low temperatures we could heat the house well what still very important. The village is namely about 500 mtr. hoogte.De owner was very vriendelijk.Wij had rented linens and beds were made up when we arrived and we got enough handdoeken.Wij do just fine for our purposes gehad.Prachtige trips. Ideal if you like peace and nature! Our children (14-10 years) will again next year.

There are also many hiking trails in the Harz and the ascent of the Brocken is for experienced hikers. We have a nice holiday. The cottage was clean and there was thought of everything. Even a bunch of flowers on arrival. The area was very nice. But this was no good shops in the neighborhood. 6km away was the first big supper market. So no fresh bread ..... For the rest nice holiday! Family of Lith

Warm welcome by the owner. The apartment was very clean and tidy. The kids loved it! Nice toys and a nice garden. The owners, who live downstairs, are very nice and hospitable.

It was good to see that Frau Pietsch itself often has holiday houses verbleven.Ze has so arranged as they themselves wanted. Cosy and comfortable. Also enough hooks for towels etc. It was also very clean. In the area there is plenty to see and do. Eg caves, mining museum, hiking 's steam train to the Brocken, the highest mountain (1142 m) or walk to the top. Nice timbered towns, etc. The house has a large garden with playground and swimming pool. We were there in the winter and we had a real winter feeling because the mountain snow and cozy gluhwein stalls in the half-timbered villages. too short distance a cable car at a gorge in Thale. We have not bored and felt at home in this lovely home! Fam. Verbon
