Returned here after 10 years. Had a wonderful holiday, walked a lot and went to Göttingen once. Grossalmerode has changed little in those 10 years, only the supermarket is now in a different location and the Ratskeller has a new owner. Cottage is fully equipped. Slept well, despite the soft mattresses (we are used to hard). With the shutters closed it is really pitch dark inside. Nice shower too. Fam. Goebel is very friendly and always up for a chat. The area is great for walks: a lot of different routes of various lengths and difficulties within a couple of kilometers of the house. The maps are available in the accommodation, so one can plan the route for the next day :)

The setting was beautiful as the lounge door opened onto a sunny, sheltered patio with lovely views over a spacious well kept garden and on to the trees beyond. Everything was so peaceful. Irene and Wilfried were both so kind and were on hand to give us helpful information regarding activities and directions. There were many things to do in the area. We particularly loved the variety of walks available and our visit to Hercules on a Wednesday when the water is turned on was memorable. A great holiday!

We had a fantastic holiday with the Goebel family. A neat, cozy apartment, with a private, partly covered, terrace. We really lacked nothing. A lot of privacy! A lot of tips about beautiful or interesting trips in the area. Indicate on arrival where your interests lie and Dhr. Goebel will give you good tips. Enough good restaurants and a good shop in the vicinity. A nice address for particularly nice people. Thank you very much!

The arrival was warm, there was plenty of time for acquaintance and questions. The accommodation was very good. Everything was largely available. The environment ("behind" the Sauerland) was new to us. Then there is plenty to discover.

The start of our holiday seemed some delay to go up in connection with any file. After an email with the owners this total was no problem! We were warmly welcomed with a crackled fireplace and an extensive tour. Once Neat house with all mod cons. Complete kitchen, bathroom neat, and a cozy living room and bedroom. There is nothing negative to be desired, this cottage is an absolute winner! Tip: Let us surprise you as a hiker and district of the (tourist) marked paths. Good walking shoes and just follow the tractor tracks. What a magnificent tranquility and natural beauty!

We arrived a day later than we booked because of a Holiday Bible Week where we cooperated. We did not see Mr. and Mrs. Goebel immediately. (We had good contact with them) So we could explore our accommodation ourselves. This met our expectations well. The environment is beautiful.

Returned here after 10 years. Had a wonderful holiday, walked a lot and went to Göttingen once. Grossalmerode has changed little in those 10 years, only the supermarket is now in a different location and the Ratskeller has a new owner. Cottage is fully equipped. Slept well, despite the soft mattresses (we are used to hard). With the shutters closed it is really pitch dark inside. Nice shower too. Fam. Goebel is very friendly and always up for a chat. Give tips and are always ready. Definitely coming here again.

We have 2 weeks holiday at this address enjoyed the tranquility, beautiful surroundings and the many walks. The home is top, You lack nothing and the owners are very hospitable. Moreover, they give lots of tips to beautiful places to visit like Bad Sooden, Hannover Munden, Melsungen and Wanfried. The Naturpark Meisner is wonderful and there are premium paths have been constructed which makes it good for walking. In short, this holiday home is great!

Beautiful house, furnished with many things good base for beautiful walks. Next to nature is Hann. Münde really recommended. Place is not so suitable if you like to hang around the house all day

Nice welcome by the owners. The apartment is located just outside Grosalmerode and provides all the comfort you can imagine in a vacation rental. Despite the gloomy rainy weather, there are plenty of natural and cultural things nearby to do. Hohe Meisner with the excellent Gaststatte be experienced for a walk or lunch.
