On the hill of the "Steinkopf" (417 m above sea level) you will find the holiday park Ronshausen in the village Ronshausen/Machtlos. Ronshausen is a small village with 2500 inhabitants and is located between the rivers Fulda and Werra. These two rivers then form the famous Weser river.
Magnificent leafy and pine forests such as in the Seulingswald and the large mixed forests of the Richelsdorfer mountains make an oasis of quiet and relaxation from this region. The region Waldhessen is an entertainment and walking paradise for young and old, with many activities for all age groups.
The holiday park and its immediate surroundings offer safe walking paths, adventurous playgrounds and varied sport- and entertainment facilities. The holiday park is car-free, which means that children can play safely here.
The many easily practicable and signposted cycling- and walking paths (total 118 km - height difference 234 and 469 m) are ideally suited for people who wish to have a relaxed walk or fancy a cycling trip.

In addition to visiting cities like Bad Hersfeld Rotenburg, Kassel and Fulda. A variety of Information obtained at the park reception is therefore an excellent help to figure out to everyone interesse.De houses are what concerns some dated decor and furnishings, but equipped with all necessary things. We (mother and two children aged 8 and 11) had a wonderful week in ferienpark Ronshausen. The cottage was very old fashioned but cozy. Minus were the bad beds and the absence of a pool. On the site there are pictures' s an outdoor pool but if you read it appears that standing in the village. The indoor pool was a saving grace in our week the weather was not suitable for swimming. Outside prices in and around Ronshausen are very common: eg eating out is very affordable, the setting is beautiful:., we have seen 10 deer and a fox!
