On the hill of the "Steinkopf" (417 m above sea level) you will find the holiday park Ronshausen in the village Ronshausen/Machtlos. Ronshausen is a small village with 2500 inhabitants and is located between the rivers Fulda and Werra. These two rivers then form the famous Weser river.
Magnificent leafy and pine forests such as in the Seulingswald and the large mixed forests of the Richelsdorfer mountains make an oasis of quiet and relaxation from this region. The region Waldhessen is an entertainment and walking paradise for young and old, with many activities for all age groups.
The holiday park and its immediate surroundings offer safe walking paths, adventurous playgrounds and varied sport- and entertainment facilities. The holiday park is car-free, which means that children can play safely here.
The many easily practicable and signposted cycling- and walking paths (total 118 km - height difference 234 and 469 m) are ideally suited for people who wish to have a relaxed walk or fancy a cycling trip.

The house is dirty ... broken lamps or where you get an electric shock (children's lamp). Really disappointing. The house wasn't worth the price

we had a good holiday, managers were very friendly and helpful. if you like peace and quiet you're in the right place. disadvantage is that you do not reach with your phone. (We were sometimes six man calling in a place where you could reach)

Holiday was very well maintained and luxuriously furnished, with new kitchen and flat-tv.Het terrace was very sheltered and offered so many privacy.Mooi and quiet park, ideal for people who enjoy hiking in wooded omgeving.Enige disadvantage is that in the environment, few real attractions. Very much the same as sleeping villages and endless forests and heuvels.Hou you like action, nightlife, cafes etc, then you have nothing to zoeken.Maar here we were, however great time.

The cottages are simple but well ingericht.De houses are all loose and you do not suffer from the buren.Er in the area and the park has little to do and see as long as you like forest and mountains houdt.Zwembad close the whole summer gesloten.Adressen leaflets for something fun to do often, knocking wiij wanted to go to the summer toboggan run, unfortunately the address on the leaflet appeared to be the owner of the toboggan run itself was still half an hour rijden.Groeten Fam. In the period from 23/27 October '06 we have booked a holiday in this type of holiday. The cottage is very complete and it is-especially in the evenings, (no car park between 22:00 and 08:00 hours) in a very quiet omgeving.Een recommended for anyone who loves peace. Also something for everyone. swimming, hiking, huifkarrit. Fun, fun, leuk.Gewoon even do and experience how much fun it all. Very friendly people and relatively expensive NOT . In short, it is very quiet, you have a lot of privacy, the house is very good and clean and maintained after the shower, and calling and internet via your mobile is completely impossible at this park (and via the WiFi at The reception is not much better so consider it to be completely closed off by the outside world. (What some people think is nice.)). For good restaurants, try the local toko's absolutely not, but do yourself a favor and drive a little bit for very good food (see extensive review), you will also have to drive a bit if you want to do more than make forest walks, Making straws of straw and making a tractor ride with Klaus. (Anyone who may be.) For people who like peace and forests and do not mind spending a couple of years back in time, it's bad It is a bit dusty but generally clean, it has all the comforts (even a dishwasher), 2 spacious bedrooms (one of which is a master And 1 where you can lose a three and a half child) and a good backyard with quite a lot of privacy and some pillows. The cottage itself was so nice! Nice and cozy. What an old-fashioned décor, but that's just aesthetically less, the quality of the items is great and there is nothing to notice! (Please bring your own pillow.) Only downside of the shower was the shower. Unfortunately, it was almost everywhere under the rancid black fungus every layer and even in the rails. Bah. Park Manager did not really understand us when we realized that Tried to explain in our best German-speaking bubble ... Oh well, I hope they will replace this soon. Just stay away from the walls and keep the shower going well. The TV was not about to write to the house, and unfortunately only German muck. Want j

Spacious, comfortable, well equipped cottage. No big luxury but very comfortable, with everything you need and that too at a fairly large area. The park is adjacent to a large forest, which makes it very pleasant for walkers and cyclists. There are quite a lot of cottages but a sense of privacy and tranquility prevails anyway. For families with children is an advantage that there are enough activities (swimming pool, playground, tennis court, basketball court, furnished activities, forest and nature, ...) but not over-commercialization (you can so nice all the time say "yes" .. .). Basic but fine restaurant in the park and supermarket nearby. We have here a very nice family vacation!

February 2009: nice played in the snow, Eisenach visited and from the ski resort Brotterode been. Great weekend, nice and quiet in the park. Pool of the park is not large but fine for a swim. The Erlebnispfad which starts directly at the park is very nice, even for the children to walk.

The park is in a beautiful setting. The cottage was clean and spacious. Pity that the park itself is little more organized. There is a pool but only open when reception is open, and that's a disadvantage. The restaurant was closed and being renovated. We have seen and done. The salt mountain, marienhohle (crystal caves), Inselberg (luge ed.), The Wartburg in Eisenach and Drachenschlucht, Outdoor Ronshausen and so on. Plenty to do and by the location of the motorway (about 7 km), easy to reach.

The cottage looked neat, the bathroom smelled very urine and the beds were bad. Pay no 3, - p.p. for the pool at the park, very dirty! In Ronshausen there is an incredibly nice pool for the same money.
