Before our holiday we thought: hopefully we have a nice place to stay. After our holiday we knew: we had one of the most beautiful places to stay that we have ever had! Many thanks to the Lindner family: you created a little dream there with your own hands. The more than 200-year-old Kate has been beautifully restored by you and equipped with all the necessary comforts. Everything is very comfortably furnished, very comfortably equipped and very tastefully designed. I've REALLY never had a place that was so clean, well maintained, and like new. From the kitchen, where not the slightest water stain was found on a glass, to a perfectly clean bathroom and a bedroom with very good mattresses and fragrant linens, to a comfortable and immaculate sofa and a large TV monitor, which we however have not used. And: YES, there is NO WiFi with you... but for us it was wonderful to relax and unwind. (In addition, you can't really enjoy your great house and garden with WiFi ;-) ) The large garden with the many small islands is also a real highlight. You receive your guests as if friends were coming to visit, explained everything to us wonderfully, gave us good tips for the holiday and were wonderfully "invisible" in the background the whole time during our holiday, but always available for questions (<< owner lives on same property >>). But not only did we feel very comfortable, our two dogs were not only tolerated but also warmly welcomed. Thank you very much for that! We had a fantastic family getaway at the vacation house in Gegensee! The children loved the natural playground on the beach, and we spent our evenings barbecuing in the shared garden. The house itself was comfortable and well-equipped, especially the modern kitchen. The massage shower was a nice bonus after a day of hiking in the nearby Stettiner Haff nature park.
