The holiday was OK if you dont mind the feeling of being watched. The house lies in the middle of a small village. One day a total stranger knocked on the door and asked us if we wanted a tour in his prairewagon.He was a nice old man and we had seen him in his village before so we said yes. During the trip he stopped in the middle of a forest and suddenly exclaimed : "Then threre is the matter of the money" and we had to give him 72 euro ;.( So much for local hospitality After that we didnt look the locals in the eyes and we went home a day earlier than planned. The nature around us was perfect.

Very nice full wooden house, made by the owner himself. Not supermodern in interior, but certainly enough luxury and comfort, in a style that fits the house. Adequate lighting available and comfortable beds. The house looks clean and well maintained and had sufficient inventory. Because the house is of wood, there are no large fluctuations in temperature. Staircase upstairs can be difficult for the elderly, but downstairs is also a nice double bedroom. What is not is Dutch television channels and that is a bit different given the fact that the channel offer covers a substantial part of the western hemisphere. Internet is not fast and you need to find the right place (s) in the house or out for good reception. For the bigger cities you should go for a good drive, and you'll be on your way through paved roads and relatively little car.
