What a gem! The double king-size bed was super comfortable, and the living room was perfect for relaxing after a day outside. We also enjoyed the radio and the CD player for some evening entertainment.

We – two adults and two children (1.5 and 4.5 years old) – had a wonderful time in Neubukow during the last week of August. The holiday apartment is spacious, bright, and inviting, with a compact and very functional kitchen. Shopping options are conveniently reachable on foot. A special highlight for us was the large, well-maintained garden right by the house – with a cozy beach chair, plenty of play opportunities for children, and lots of space to relax. The friendly, curious young chickens, the ripe fruit (plums, figs) and the berries to snack on at every corner delighted us. The little sheep in the surrounding pastures also brought smiles to our faces time and again. We brought our bikes, for which there was a secure storage option. This allowed us to wonderfully explore the beautiful – albeit windy and slightly hilly – surroundings and visit the beaches in Kühlungsborn and Rerik. We particularly enjoyed Rerik with its well-kept, uncrowded beach and charming little town. We can absolutely recommend bike tours starting from Neubukow – there is so much to discover: picturesque forests, historic buildings, and numerous animals. Behind the house, the pilgrimage route "Via Baltica" passes by, where one can stroll beautifully through the stunning Hellbach Valley. A trip to Wismar is also worthwhile: the city is only about 25 minutes by car and impressed us with its large harbor, pretty streets, and lively squares. Our harbor tour with a fishing demonstration was especially nice – there, we were introduced to fishing and life at sea in a charming Hanseatic way, which was particularly enjoyable for the children. Highly recommended! Unfortunately, we only booked for one week – next time we will definitely stay for two weeks to enjoy the time even more and discover more sights. We would love to come back!
