This house is really a dream, lots of space, wonderful furnishings, and very nice owners. We have been coming here regularly for 10 years and are thrilled with everything here. Absolutely recommendable.

The first impression of the house was sophisticated, with a garden in the English style. Upon closer inspection, many defects become apparent: doors and door knobs are dilapidated, the aging kitchen has some defects: there were expired and open food items in the cabinets that attracted pests, furthermore, there is an unpleasant smell coming from the drains and the water drains poorly, there seems to be a problem here. The heating was only activated upon request. Unfortunately, the guestbook is outdated and not very in German. The landlord couple is nice but omnipresent. One often felt watched. Their dogs come onto the property knowing that one of our children was afraid.

The house owner gave us a warm welcome despite the delay. The cottage was lovely
furnished and well equipped. short hike to the beach was 20 minutes from the house.
Just around the corner, 5 minutes away, was a nature reserve (dunes) where you could watch free-roaming donkeys and, with patience, pet them. The beach was nice but we didn't find the promenade attractive due to the high skyscrapers. There are beautiful little villages in the area that you can take a look at if you are interested. We will definitely rent the house again and can recommend it with the best of conscience.
Small disadvantage!!! If you stay longer with children, it is advisable to change more things
increase as there is no washing machine. Maybe the homeowner will reconsider this.

Wonderful week of vacation from 17 to 24 October with 2 people! We especially enjoyed the quiet location, the luxuriously furnished villa & the fireplace (count on 40 € for one week of firewood). It is a well-heated house and the fireplace makes it that little bit cozier. The 2 bathrooms are each equipped with a bath, showering is not that easy due to the low ceilings and there is no door or shower curtain. Nature reserve De Doorpanne is a 3-minute walk and from here you can take beautiful walks to Koksijde and Oostduinkerke. The owner Marc is very friendly and lives in the house next door, he greeted us on arrival and departure and brought extra firewood during our stay. The kitchen is fully equipped (except a toaster) with all necessary appliances. The description and photos are completely in line with reality. Highly recommended and we will definitely be back.

Absolutely take protection against mosquitoes! No screens! Who likes to cook a lot, should take paring knife, wooden spoon, bread knife and potato masher! The house owner gave us a warm welcome despite the delay. The cottage was lovely
furnished and well equipped. short hike to the beach was 20 minutes from the house.
Just around the corner, 5 minutes away, was a nature reserve (dunes) where you could watch free-roaming donkeys and, with patience, pet them. The beach was nice but we didn't find the promenade attractive due to the high skyscrapers. There are beautiful little villages in the area that you can take a look at if you are interested. We will definitely rent the house again and can recommend it with the best of conscience.
Small disadvantage!!! If you stay longer with children, it is advisable to change more things

The homeowner warmly welcomed us despite the delay. The cottage was lovingly decorated and well equipped. A short walk to the beach took 20 minutes from the house. Just around the corner, 5 minutes away, was a nature reserve (dunes) where you could observe and pet free-roaming donkeys with patience. The beach was beautiful, but we didn't find the promenade attractive due to the high-rise buildings. There are beautiful small villages in the surrounding area that you can visit if you're interested. We will definitely rent the house again and can highly recommend it. One small drawback!!! If you are staying longer with children, it is advisable to bring more clothes to change as there is no washing machine. Maybe the homeowner will reconsider this.

The house, an old fisherman's house, is beautifully decorated and the grounds on which it stands are huge and completely fenced off. We could therefore let our dog run around. It is within walking distance of the dunes and the center of Koksijde is also easily accessible. Mrs. Deman is very friendly and forthcoming and is on hand if needed. We are very satisfied with our stay and recommend it to everyone.
