Welcome by lovely hosts. The house and garden are magnificent and impeccably clean. Dogs are truly welcome there, provided that a few rules of good living and cleanliness, which seem natural to me, are respected. A beautiful villa in a very strategic area for moving easily along the coast or exploring the inland villages. Not to mention the interiors. The villa is located in a quiet back area near the nature reserve Doorpanne, from which a roughly 30-minute walk (a bit longer with a dog due to detours) leads to the expansive beach. The charmingly restored and furnished former farmhouse with a spacious green area was very much to our liking (3 people + dog). The photos posted on belvilla provide a realistic image. After bad experiences with landlords living far away, the availability of service at any time from the landlord living next door was important to us, which we did not need to take advantage of (except for wood supply for the open fireplace) as everything was to our satisfaction. We will come back!

A beautiful holiday home with everything you need. Tastefully decorated, nicely laid out terrace in a quiet spot. Set back from the quiet road with its own driveway and locked electric gate. Due to excavation work further in the city, the electricity was unexpectedly cut off at one point, so the gate for the driveway wouldn't open and we couldn't leave with the car. No worries, the owner simply provided us with a car, and she didn't want to hear anything about fuel costs. Where can you still find that? The owner really does his best to give you a relaxing vacation. Absolutely recommended. We will definitely come back in the summer.

The house owner gave us a warm welcome despite the delay. The cottage was lovely
furnished and well equipped. short hike to the beach was 20 minutes from the house.
Just around the corner, 5 minutes away, was a nature reserve (dunes) where you could watch free-roaming donkeys and, with patience, pet them. The beach was nice but we didn't find the promenade attractive due to the high skyscrapers. There are beautiful little villages in the area that you can take a look at if you are interested. We will definitely rent the house again and can recommend it with the best of conscience.
Small disadvantage!!! If you stay longer with children, it is advisable to change more things
increase as there is no washing machine. Maybe the homeowner will reconsider this.

Wonderful week of vacation from 17 to 24 October with 2 people! We especially enjoyed the quiet location, the luxuriously furnished villa & the fireplace (count on 40 € for one week of firewood). It is a well-heated house and the fireplace makes it that little bit cozier. The 2 bathrooms are each equipped with a bath, showering is not that easy due to the low ceilings and there is no door or shower curtain. Nature reserve De Doorpanne is a 3-minute walk and from here you can take beautiful walks to Koksijde and Oostduinkerke. The owner Marc is very friendly and lives in the house next door, he greeted us on arrival and departure and brought extra firewood during our stay. The kitchen is fully equipped (except a toaster) with all necessary appliances. The description and photos are completely in line with reality. Highly recommended and we will definitely be back.

The homeowner warmly welcomed us despite the delay. The cottage was lovingly decorated and well equipped. A short walk to the beach took 20 minutes from the house. Just around the corner, 5 minutes away, was a nature reserve (dunes) where you could observe and pet free-roaming donkeys with patience. The beach was beautiful, but we didn't find the promenade attractive due to the high-rise buildings. There are beautiful small villages in the surrounding area that you can visit if you're interested. We will definitely rent the house again and can highly recommend it. One small drawback!!! If you are staying longer with children, it is advisable to bring more clothes to change as there is no washing machine. Maybe the homeowner will reconsider this.
