Only suitable if you want to have a beer with a large adult group (which also happens a lot, judging by all the crown caps on the ground outside). Not suitable for family. Beds dirty, also the rented bedding, furniture old and if you sit on the couch you sit on the floor. The owner's dog takes frisbees, balls, so playing outside is not an option. The owners slaughter sheep so children occasionally find sheep's feet in the garden. Grass was not mowed in the first place so at first we could not sit outside at all. Owner has partially done this after my request. Bathroom and kitchen okay.

I enjoyed staying here! The place was clean and the owner was really friendly. The beds were comfortable and the shower pressure was great. We explored the nearby trails and also visited some local restaurants in Marche-en-Famenne. Overall, it was a relaxing getaway!

We have been here for 5 days with 9 people. The communication with the owners was very good, and they were very friendly and helpful. We were even invited to visit the bison with the tractor. The accommodation is not very luxurious, quite old and not very clean, but everything is present and works, and the apartment is cozy with nice rooms, all made of wood. The mattresses were very good. It is in a remote place, where you first have to drive 2 kilometers on a gravel path to get there (we were with 3 motorcycles, which was a bit tricky to drive, but doable). Then you have plenty of space for yourself, including a small grassy area. It is pleasantly busy with dogs, sheep, pigs, and bison. The owner is usually present to take care of all the animals, and for questions and help, and otherwise, responses are quick via the app. Well, it is messy on the property, but in and around the apartment it is tidy. 150 meters away you can take a refreshing dip in a side pool of the river, and 50 meters further you can make a campfire with the wood that is lying around. All in all, we had a lot of fun there for five days and may come back again.

VRESELIJKE EXPERIENCE, despite a very cozy house with nice living space and decent bedrooms in a beautiful environment! ATTENTION!!! On the night+morning from Saturday to Sunday, our stay was disturbed by a 12-hour-long (! ! !) large rave party in the woods next to the house organized by - yes - the (son of the) owner of the chalet. The windows were shaking, the animals outside were going crazy, and the children were awake all night. I called the police 5 times, but they did not show up because this - according to neighbors - apparently happens EVERY FEW WEEKS (under the pretense of 'a one-time birthday party') and there is already a lawyer involved from the village but nothing changes... the owner herself continues to deny that her son did this, while he himself - stupidly drunk - admitted to us that it was his party... ALSO: the house looked relatively clean at first glance, but remnants of DIRT and cigarettes from previous guests were found between the couch... YUCK! And that there would be 3 dogs running free on the property and that the (son of the) owner is hanging around with (unsavory-looking) friends further on the property, we would have liked to know in advance because that is quite intimidating for small children. ALSO WATCH OUT FOR THE DOGS!! During our stay, one dog bit an adult AND a child on the hand as well as attacked a sheep to the point of bleeding. After this incident and my call about it, the dogs were monitored a bit more by the owner... When the generator failed on day 3, the owner quickly called for help to resolve this... In short, a beautiful nature house, but our experience was unfortunately TERRIBLE. As much as I would like to for those beautiful surroundings and the cozy house, we CANNOT RETURN HERE AND DO NOT RECOMMEND staying here with families with children (or other peace-seeking people). WHAT A SHAME!!!

The location is beautiful... many opportunities for walking and visiting various places in the Ardennes. There is a TV, no connection. No wifi and no internet signal via phone. Very nice and charming chalet in a beautiful natural environment.
Sheep, bison, and a friendly dog owned by the owner could keep us company during our outdoor games.
All amenities were in order and we didn't lack anything.
Luxury should not be expected here, it's really back to the roots and enjoy the wooden structures and nature, being outdoors.

Only suitable if you want to have a beer with a large adult group (which also happens a lot, judging by all the crown caps on the ground outside). Not suitable for family. Beds dirty, also the rented bedding, furniture old and if you sit on the couch you sit on the floor. The owner's dog takes frisbees, balls, so playing outside is not an option. The owners slaughter sheep so children occasionally find sheep's feet in the garden. Grass was not mowed in the first place so at first we could not sit outside at all. Owner has partially done this after my request. Bathroom and kitchen okay.
