A lovely abode which will remind you of the comfort of your own space back home. This holiday home in Herbeumont features 3 bedrooms and can host a large family or a group of 9. Super house but a toilet for 9 is not enough. On the other hand, be careful because a lot of stairs when you are with a lot of children

The cottage was unfortunately not clean at all. Especially the kitchen was very dirty. The house was spacious and much was in stock, but since it was dirty, these advantages were negated. Messy and dirty kitchen set. Kitchen utensils must be washed before use, pots and pans worn out, gas fire difficult to regulate. The first day we cleaned ourselves to make our stay as pleasant as possible, there was a small child who was still crawling around so a clean floor was a must. Very old house, electricity very unprofessional, loose cables and sockets everywhere, unfortunately not child-friendly. Unfortunately, the heating did not work properly, it only started heating at 3 pm. Have to pay € 100 on site (on arrival) for cleaning, but this was not worth the money at all. Pros: beautiful surroundings, beautiful hiking trails, pleasant Christmas atmosphere in the village, Colruyt department store at 20 minutes, kicker table was a great added value for the children, spacious house, large playground in the village.

When we arrived we were told that the fireplace was not working, we were very disappointed about that. The house is in serious need of maintenance, is not clean, the door handle of the toilet was barely stuck. The toilet did not/hardly flush, so we used a bucket of water for that. In the end we were able to make something of it ourselves and the area is beautiful, but we won't be going back anytime soon.
