We had a fantastic family reunion at this converted watermill! The views of the Semois from the living room were breathtaking, The kids loved the play equipment outside, and the hot tub was a great way to unwind after our hikes in the beautiful surrounding woods,

Very quiet location, magnificently situated in relation to the river. There is enough space to park 5-6 cars without worry. The 3 living rooms (dining room, lounge, games room) are more than enough for a group of around 20 people. The equipment for eating outside (table and chairs) is also more than enough.

Some points to improve:

- one of the two fridges in the kitchen does not close properly and is therefore unusable. (note that there is a third fridge in the dining room).

- the 2 dishwashers work poorly at full load. One because the lower tray is missing casters, the other because the lower tray deforms under the weight of the plates. In both cases, this prevents the lower watering arm from rotating and properly cleaning the dishes.

- Instructions for using the sauna are missing. We ended up discovering that we had to reactivate the corresponding fuse on the electrical panel.

- The place was so good that it was a shame to have to rush on the day of departure to leave the premises at 10 a.m. It should be possible to arrange to vacate the place around midday to be able to enjoy the morning a bit

Upon arrival we received the key just in the village, without any info about dirt or use of the facilities. The location of the property is unique! in the middle of the woods, at the semois. There are plenty of beautiful walks for the whole family from the village. The hygiene in and around the house is a lot less, the playroom for the children was dirty, the appliances were not working! In the kitchen there were a lot of plates and glasses dirty, one dish of dishwashers found to be unable to work. The presence of the sauna and hottube were ok for us, although they were not particularly attractive for use. (Very dirty!). However, the location is very good.

A house suitable for large groups. Rather dark when the weather is not good and you should stay indoors, but when it is sunny, ideal starting point for hikes, nice terrace overlooking the Semois and the wooded area. We had to pick up the key in an inn in the center of Herbeumont. This went very smoothly, but we got little explanation about the practical matters in the house. On arrival we wrote down the electricity meter figures ourselves so that no discussion could arise about this. The morning someone came along to see if everything was okay, so that was fun. The kitchen and bathrooms were completely in order and very comfortable, the bedrooms were sober but beautiful, and the location was simply sublime in the middle of the forest and incredibly quiet.We have generally had a very nice retreat. The possibilities for different walks in the area were endless. We definitely recommend this house!

Beautiful sunny spring break in Moulin de Nawès. Very suitable home for a holiday with children and grandchildren (we were 14 in total) and hond.Location TOP: a dead end street, the Semois runs next to your garden. Base for beautiful walks. terrace and enclosed garden with 2 toys, hot tub and sauna. The hot tub and sauna were successful under a starry sky! The house is well equipped: kitchen with 2 hobs, 2 dishwashers, 3 refrigerators, and many kitchen utensils came in handy. Good beds, 3 decent bathrooms with good showers. thermostatic taps everywhere to heat quickly. TV room with proximus TV, wifi not equally strong everywhere. Everything functional but not luxurious: furniture in TV room and sitting area a bit on the old side. There is a board with some instructions for sorting garbage and use hot tub. Yet we missed a clear log / folder with clearer instructions for use of everything. So we had to figure out ourselves that you had to turn on a fuse for the sauna. I called 2x to report a defect: friendly person on the phone and they also quickly sent someone to solve it. The coffee maker runs quite slowly, a toaster is in the description but was not there. Very tasty bread and cakes at the bakery in the village nearby. Also delicious "galettes" or buckwheat pancakes eaten in "la fille du boulanger".

The Moulin Nawès is beautifully situated on the Semois. With my family I have been there 3 times. It is unfortunate that the accommodation has deteriorated. Torn cushions in the TV lounge, sluggish chairs in the dining room, barely running out of the cranes on the upper floor north side. Behind the cot (!) Hangs a wall outlet. Also the house was not clean. We found underpants under one of the closets. The accommodation is also quite expensive 4 toilets for a big party is not really enough. Although we are really fond of this characterful house and its beautiful environment, we are not jumping to return unless the situation improves.

What a charming weekend! The cozy holiday home in Herbeumont exceeded our expectations. The old charm of the watermill combined with modern amenities made our stay truly special. We spent our evenings relaxing in the outdoor sauna and listening to the Semois flowing beneath us. It was perfect for our family reunion – plenty of space for everyone to relax. The area is breathtaking, with hiking trails just a stone's throw away. A visit to the castle of Godefroid de Bouillon is highly recommended – a must!

The next morning the owner came by to explain any issues, to explain. Bathrooms were very recently renewed and looked fine, furniture in the dining room was completely renewed, sofas etc. in living room were also fine, beds also neatly in order, wide selection of pans, crockery etc. Stucco of walls and ceilings looked good and fairly new. With this sunny weather, it was very special to be here. We are now the third year in a row to this chalet. There is nothing repaired, broken things stay broken. Cooking Shelf is not adjustable or does not work. No ventilation in the bathrooms. Insufficient refrigerators. The sorting unit for waste is insufficient for a group. THIS CHALET IS urgent need of renovation.

It is a very beautiful place located at the end of road next to a nice river.The building is spacious and with separate leaving room, children play room and dining room at the ground floor, Provides a lot of comfort When accommodating a big group or people (24 +). The location is very beautiful and cozy but not so much space at the garden for group activities and sport (was known of course) .The only complain is about the electric cooking plate-which was very old, very hard to adjust and control the heat. We almost everymeal got burned on food !! By the way the villa is Indicated without WiFi but the WiFi is available !!!

Young and old really enjoyed this holiday and the beautiful location. A very spacious house with separate play area for the kids. One drawback is the creaking of the 1st floor, which makes it very noisy. Beautiful area for walking, cycling and trips. The garden is somewhat small, football can not, for example, but its location on the river is fantastic.

We are now the third year in a row to this chalet. There is nothing repaired, broken things stay broken. Cooking Shelf is not adjustable or does not work. Extractor hood so that there does not have to be cooked in the dark. Radiators are almost completely rusted through in the bathroom. Opening Doors very difficult. Shower head will not hang. No ventilation in the bathrooms. Insufficient refrigerators. The sorting unit for waste is insufficient for a group. THIS CHALET IS urgent need of renovation.

The house is equipped with all necessary, even a Playstation in the living room. However, we have not used this since we are usually outside on the terrace and on the large lawn (allderings this is not mowed) have stopped behind the house. The grill was large enough for our group of 16 people, and a place Fires are also available for the evening campfire. We liked the best remote location on the outskirts of the village next to the river where we were undisturbed among us. We had a great weekend!

Spacious house with plenty of room for our group. The atmosphere was really relaxing, especially with the outdoor hot tub. I loved the old charm of the watermill house, and the location was peaceful, nestled in nature. In the summer it's got to be fun, fun in the water eg. In the autumn it is still nice, very quiet, but for kids there is little or no place to live out. No playground, no forest as private, so it really was a bit disappointing.

Beautiful sunny spring break in Moulin de Nawès. Very suitable home for a holiday with children and grandchildren (we were 14 in total) and hond.Location TOP: a dead end street, the Semois runs next to your garden. Base for beautiful walks. terrace and enclosed garden with 2 toys, hot tub and sauna. The hot tub and sauna were successful under a starry sky! The house is well equipped: kitchen with 2 hobs, 2 dishwashers, 3 refrigerators, and many kitchen utensils came in handy. Good beds, 3 decent bathrooms with good showers. thermostatic taps everywhere to heat quickly. TV room with proximus TV, wifi not equally strong everywhere. Everything functional but not luxurious: furniture in TV room and sitting area a bit on the old side. There is a board with some instructions for sorting garbage and use hot tub. Yet we missed a clear log / folder with clearer instructions for use of everything. So we had to figure out ourselves that you had to turn on a fuse for the sauna. I called 2x to report a defect: friendly person on the phone and they also quickly sent someone to solve it. The coffee maker runs quite slowly, a toaster is in the description but was not there. Very tasty bread and cakes at the bakery in the village nearby. Also delicious "galettes" or buckwheat pancakes eaten in "la fille du boulanger".

With Ascension a long weekend spent here with the family (14 people). Contrary to what some other reviews do, everything was fine now. Key available through a key safe. The next morning the owner came by to explain any issues, to explain. Bathrooms were very recently renewed and looked fine, furniture in the dining room was completely renewed, sofas etc. in living room were also fine, beds also neatly in order, wide selection of pans, crockery etc. Stucco of walls and ceilings looked good and fairly new. In short, the house was well equipped. Contrary to what the site stated, there was WiFi available. And then the location ..... Amazingly beautiful !! With this sunny weather, it was very special to be here. A very nice view over the river Semois with the Brem on the slopes beautifully in bloom, The possibility to spend nice time on and in the river is of course also perfect. The least disadvantage is that in the bathrooms there is (still?) mirrors were hanging and no kettle was present.

Once again a great weekend behind us. The area remains breathtaking, but had the feeling that the house itself was not in the best shape. It leaked in one of the bedrooms and there was some dirt. For the rest I and my friends have amused us again.

For the fourth time had a horribly nice weekend with the whole family in a very nice location. Accommodation needs some maintenance. (leaking faucets, not working TV "s, faulty bedside lamps, broken door handles, a kettle would have been nice)

We had to pick up the key in an inn in the center of Herbeumont. This went very smoothly, but we got little explanation about the practical matters in the house. On arrival we wrote down the electricity meter figures ourselves so that no discussion could arise about this. The morning someone came along to see if everything was okay, so that was fun. The kitchen and bathrooms were completely in order and very comfortable, the bedrooms were sober but beautiful, and the location was simply sublime in the middle of the forest and incredibly quiet.We have generally had a very nice retreat. The possibilities for different walks in the area were endless. We definitely recommend this house!

Location is beautiful ... BUT !!! Once arrived, all defects began to become clear. Rocker in the playground, cupboard in the kitchen piece, 1 of the 2 dishwashers that did not work. Wii who does not do it for the kids. Bedrooms with broken walls. Upon arrival we received the key just in the village, without any info about dirt or use of the facilities. The location of the property is unique! in the middle of the woods, at the semois. There are plenty of beautiful walks for the whole family from the village. The hygiene in and around the house is a lot less, the playroom for the children was dirty, the appliances were not working! In the kitchen there were a lot of plates and glasses dirty, one dish of dishwashers found to be unable to work. The presence of the sauna and hottube were ok for us, although they were not particularly attractive for use. (Very dirty!). However, the location is very good.

The Moulin Nawès is beautifully situated on the Semois. With my family I have been there 3 times. It is unfortunate that the accommodation has deteriorated. Torn cushions in the TV lounge, sluggish chairs in the dining room, barely running out of the cranes on the upper floor north side. Behind the cot (!) Hangs a wall outlet. Also the house was not clean. We found underpants under one of the closets. The accommodation is also quite expensive 4 toilets for a big party is not really enough. Although we are really fond of this characterful house and its beautiful environment, we are not jumping to return unless the situation improves.

Gorgeous location for groups and certainly with children. No traffic and directly on the water. Hot tube is definitely an added value and the layout of the house is very practical. A plus is also that there is a proximity TV.

A house suitable for large groups. Rather dark when the weather is not good and you should stay indoors, but when it is sunny, ideal starting point for hikes, nice terrace overlooking the Semois and the wooded area. Very quiet location, magnificently situated in relation to the river. There is enough space to park 5-6 cars without worry. The 3 living rooms (dining room, lounge, games room) are more than enough for a group of around 20 people. The equipment for eating outside (table and chairs) is also more than enough.

Some points to improve:

- one of the two fridges in the kitchen does not close properly and is therefore unusable. (note that there is a third fridge in the dining room).

- the 2 dishwashers work poorly at full load. One because the lower tray is missing casters, the other because the lower tray deforms under the weight of the plates. In both cases, this prevents the lower watering arm from rotating and properly cleaning the dishes.

- Instructions for using the sauna are missing. We ended up discovering that we had to reactivate the corresponding fuse on the electrical panel.

- The place was so good that it was a shame to have to rush on the day of departure to leave the premises at 10 a.m. It should be possible to arrange to vacate the place around midday to be able to enjoy the morning a bit
