A fantastic week partly thanks to the radiant weather. This allowed the dogs to fully enjoy freedom and outdoor life. The house is a bit dated, but everything needed was present. Worth repeating!

The cottage is beautifully located by a lake and on a huge plot that is fully fenced. A lovely terrace with enough seating. Our dog could walk and swim here all day. The house also meets all requirements. Nice kitchen with dishwasher, beds are comfortable, and the sofas and seating areas are spacious. The surroundings, close to the Semois and Bouillon, are also really worth it. Even around the cottage, you can enjoy walking. We also had beautiful weather and could spend a lot of time outside. The manager has asked several times if everything is to your liking. That is very nice.

What a great place! We had a fantastic time! Once the gate is closed, you feel completely alone with your family. The owner is super sweet. She gives you enough explanation, even if you do not speak French and do a lot of effort to make it to your liking. We have not been short of anything. We did not get bored for a moment. Crush cottage in a beautiful place. However, the only defects are shown. All the door fittings were loose. The crane in the kitchen was not fixed either. And during the shower the water flowed through the ceiling into the living room, we had to catch it with buckets. Furthermore, it was very clean on arrival. For dog owners an ideal place. Our dogs can enjoy themselves on the property. However, there is poop everywhere about the swans and geese around the lake. If you have a dog like those of us who love rolling, you should keep in mind that they can do this with a lot of fun. Another tip we have eaten at Zorba, a Greek restaurant in the small village of Gedinne. Very nice and nice owner.

Arrival went very smoothly, we met the owner at the agreed place and from there he drove us to the holiday home. Once there we received a clear explanation and we could enjoy a week full of peace and nature! The location is beautiful, plenty of peace and privacy, great to be outside, we were only inside to cook and sleep. The area is very beautiful, rural, but if you really want to take long walks in the forest, it is best to drive a bit to the larger forests because the forest behind the house is quite compact. We enjoyed our stay! Our three dogs had a wonderful swim every day in the large, clean lake and were able to run and play to their heart's content thanks to the full fence. The holiday home with the lake and the adjacent forest are perfect. Only there are very noisy neighbors so there is no peace and quiet. On the one hand, you have a very large sawmill with a normal five-day working week, but from around 8 a.m., with a bit of bad luck at 10 p.m. where an old unit is used by the tenants. For a weekend it was rented to a 20-30 young man with accompanying shouting and loud music, a number of days to around 6 men with loud Arabic music all day and the last days to people with dogs (we also have a dog ourselves) who let their dogs bark all day. And all accompanied by the thumping noise (even at night so you can't sleep with an open window) from the antique unit. Owner (speak French only) was already in the agreed place. (Has drove the last part because it is not possible otherwise) very beautiful house that is quietly in the woods. With large swimming pond where the dog could swim in a good way. Cottage was very clean, pillows and towels were already ready on the sunbeds and chairs. New electric benches that were delicious. The only downside for us was that you could not really walk around with the dog. They were especially long paths so we had to walk back the same piece. Have been to the zoo where the dog was very nice and fun in the woods. Nearby are some pieces of wood where you can walk but you have to drive by car.

As during our previous stays in this house, everything was fine again this time. The house is cozy and suitable for enjoying nature and tranquility with the dogs. Nice terrace with nice view and nice sunbeds outside and chairs and sofas with relax seats inside. Owners are very friendly and the house is very clean (you do not notice / smell that there are already people with dogs in the house before you). From home you can enjoy a walk with the dogs. In addition, many hiking opportunities in the immediate vicinity. For next year this house for the 6th time booked.

The garden was completely enclosed all around (also hedges in the hedge), so our Rottweiler could easily run loose in the garden without us having to keep an eye on her. Everything present in the kitchen. We were two of us so one bathroom was of course fine. Sawmill and the road heard, but not annoyed. A beautiful place where not only the visiting people but certainly also the dogs taken can fully enjoy. In the week of our stay we have lived undisturbed in the tranquility of the wooded area. The house is fully equipped and spotless (although a second toilet on the bedroom floor are welcome). There are excellent options for long and short walks. The garden with pond is beautiful. Buzzards regularly circle above the edge of the forest behind the lake. Finally, a very friendly and alert reception and handling upon departure. Definitely worth it.

What a great place! We had a fantastic time! Once the gate is closed, you feel completely alone with your family. The owner is super sweet. She gives you enough explanation, even if you do not speak French and do a lot of effort to make it to your liking. We have not been short of anything. We did not get bored for a moment. Owner (speak French only) was already in the agreed place. (Has drove the last part because it is not possible otherwise) very beautiful house that is quietly in the woods. With large swimming pond where the dog could swim in a good way. Cottage was very clean, pillows and towels were already ready on the sunbeds and chairs. New electric benches that were delicious. The only downside for us was that you could not really walk around with the dog. They were especially long paths so we had to walk back the same piece. Have been to the zoo where the dog was very nice and fun in the woods. Nearby are some pieces of wood where you can walk but you have to drive by car.

We had a super nice holiday in a beautiful piece of nature here. About the Area The house is situated in a superb location Very secluded at the edge of the woods along a path. No other houses in the immediate area. We love them and take a few miles drive for shopping or dinner'd love to! The location requires an active outdoor life! The site is very large, it was difficult to reach except one place perfectly closed in a 100m from the house for the dogs. This was according to the owner a temporary problem and would be fixed. The pond is fantastic to look at and to have a swim. Dogs The deepest point is 3 meters. In most places in the pond an adult can stand. Arrival went very smoothly, we met the owner at the agreed place and from there he drove us to the holiday home. Once there we received a clear explanation and we could enjoy a week full of peace and nature! The location is beautiful, plenty of peace and privacy, great to be outside, we were only inside to cook and sleep. The area is very beautiful, rural, but if you really want to take long walks in the forest, it is best to drive a bit to the larger forests because the forest behind the house is quite compact. We enjoyed our stay! Our three dogs had a wonderful swim every day in the large, clean lake and were able to run and play to their heart's content thanks to the full fence. The holiday home with the lake and the adjacent forest are perfect. Only there are very noisy neighbors so there is no peace and quiet. On the one hand, you have a very large sawmill with a normal five-day working week, but from around 8 a.m., with a bit of bad luck at 10 p.m. where an old unit is used by the tenants. For a weekend it was rented to a 20-30 young man with accompanying shouting and loud music, a number of days to around 6 men with loud Arabic music all day and the last days to people with dogs (we also have a dog ourselves) who let their dogs bark all day. And all accompanied by the thumping noise (even at night so you can't sleep with an open window) from the antique unit. Nice house, garden, lake and surroundings but not suitable for those seeking tranquility.
