Just a wonderful week behind "La Bergerie" in Baillamont. The house (and vicinity) is everything you expect from a week in between in the Ardennes. We have greatly enjoyed the environment (calm, forest and nature around you), the trips to Bouillon, Sedan, Dinant, Rochehaut, Vresse are all within easy driving. Great house for 2 persons with child and dog, because it has been very happy there with the neighbor dogs and woodland walks. We will definitely return one day! Especially since the owner is very welcoming and friendly and you do not notice that they live alongside.

De eigenaresse is erg vriendelijk, ze spreekt ontzettend goed Engels en vertelt heel veel over de omgeving. Er was een probleem met de WIFI en daar is op zondag iemand voor gekomen terwijl we hadden aangegeven dat dat echt niet nodig was, dus ze doet alles om het je naar je zin te maken. Het huisje is super schattig en schoon, het doet ons aan de Efteling denken. De tuin is fantastisch heel groot op een heuvel met een mooi uitzicht, lekker rustig. Je moet wel goed ter been zijn hier. De mensen in de omgeving zijn erg vriendelijk. De omgeving is prachtig.

Received by the owner, extensive tour. Nice small and cozy house, with a very well-functioning wood stove. Kitchen fully equipped. Large and cozy bedroom, little spring in the bed, was a bit hard. My boyfriend was not bothered by that. All in all, despite the not too good weather, had a great weekend. The only thing that struck us was that we were asked to clean the wood-burning stove ourselves: there were items in a drawer that we had to clean the interior window of the stove on a daily basis and we had to clean the stove itself when we left. I have never experienced that before and in my opinion it should be included in the general cleaning. But it didn't spoil the fun and, as said, we also had a very nice weekend in the comfortable house.

Spot revealed the fireplace is not really useful - too big, smoke, consume - constantly stoke the fire to keep it ie not cozy and no heat output - wood 12 euro per day .... We just spent a short wedding trip here! A very pleasant atmosphere, crystal clean, cozy decor, all conveniences! The hostess was friendly and very helpful! She is (rightly) very proud of her apartment! We had a very relaxing, enjoyable holiday here. The cottage itself is very cozy and well cared for, the owner is very friendly and helpful you only have to ask and they are there for you!
