In the pleasant countryside of Chiny, you will find this provincial 19th-century cottage with 4 bedrooms, which is ideal for families and a small group. This holiday cottage also has a lovely terrace equipped with garden furniture, and it can host 9 guests.
The dense forest in the region is only 2 km away, where you can enjoy hiking and explore nature trails. You will also find several restaurants (100 m) and supermarkets (2 km) in the vicinity of the stay. A picnic can surely be planned to the serene lake (5 km) nearby. There is also a public indoor swimming pool 2 km away to take a dip.
This cottage is neatly-kept and comfortably decorated. On the ground floor, you can lounge in the sitting room by the decorative fireplace or prepare delicious meals in the well-equipped kitchen. There is also a library to use. An evening spent enjoying the barbecue at the terrace will surely be memorable. The host also provides a high chair and a cot for young stayers.

On arrival we were welcomed by Cécile, the owner of the cottage. She gave us a thorough tour and a warm welcome. The cottage is located in a very beautiful area near the Semois and overlooks the fields. Florenville (with all necessities) is less than a 15-minute drive from the cottage. The cottage itself is perfect for 8 people and the newly laid terrace is the perfect connection between the kitchen and the outdoor area. Everything is present in the kitchen and the other rooms are also large enough. Since the weather was beautiful all week, we hardly made use of the 2 living rooms. The bedrooms are also nicely furnished and are large in terms of space. In this house you get value for money!

Beautiful surroundings and good accessibility to other villages. there were rivers in the immediate vicinity. Hour of check-in is quite late if small children are with it.

Super friendly received by the owner of the house, and ... in Dutch. The characterful house has been beautifully renovated, yet many authentic features have been preserved. The house has spacious rooms and is comfortably furnished. There is also a beautiful enclosed garden and a beautiful new terrace with wooden garden furniture. Only downside, the weather was a bit disappointing and there is little to do in the village itself, you need a car for everything, shops, excursions, walks ...... especially if there are children with you. All in all, a good stay and the Gaume is a nice area for walking. The Meyer family.

After the very friendly welcome by the owner we have 8 people a very nice holiday spent in this typical old house where many old things recall the former habitation, but with up-to-date facilities.The house is an excellent base for trips in the area, which is surprisingly beautiful. For example, we kayaked on the river Semois at Chiny (10 km away or walk in the woods at Muno. The house is not far from France and Luxembourg, and we also made a day trip to Bouillon (very nice old town) .

Due to corona, the reception was rather business. The house is a mixture of old (50 - 100 years) and new. There are a lot of things available (house supplies are abundantly available) and the house is decorated with love. The area is very nice for walking. It is especially beautiful for someone who likes wild flowers. Due to the corona measures, there was not much to do for us.

We had rented two houses in Les Bulles, within walking distance of each other. The large house was fantastic furnished, with a large garden, many facilities for sports and games and a great kitchen with all modern conveniences. The smaller house was cozy and comfortable and also very suitable for young children.

We were very well received by the very friendly owner. The fire was burning in the fireplace cozy, there were candles and we got interesting information. The house is very nicely decorated (nice mix of old and new elements). It is very clean. It is spacious enough for 9 people (bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, living room, ...). There is also a beautiful garden and from the kitchen you have a very nice view. Recommended!

We were really looking forward to our cozy house. Sufficient space for children and adults. Also, the house has an educational content because there are a lot of old stuff there. Definitely a must.

A real holiday feeling in Cecile's house. Nice garden with fence (so that children can play safely). Nice rooms and all the conveniences needed. Tasty kitchen with lots of crockery, fully equipped!

We have spent a weekend in the house with a group of friends. It was a very nice job and we could sit outside a lot. The garden is smaller than in the photo, but really nice to sit. Furthermore, the kitchen is very extensive and the house actually has everything you need. The disadvantage was that the WiFi code did not work for us. There are also two living rooms, which makes it a bit tight in one living room. We enjoyed our weekend wonderfully!
