A very authentic holiday home in construction and in terms of decor, with a sauna, is in Chiny. This child-friendly home is ideal for 20 persons and has 10 bedrooms.
Located only 200 meters from the Semois, this is an ideal starting point for hiking, biking, kayaking, rafting, and skiing. There are many picturesque villages, as well as the Trappist Abbey of Orval and the town of Bouillon. Luxembourg and northern France are within easy reach. In 1 km, you can find a town centre, supermarket, cross country, and tourist information centre.

When you descend to the garden you can reach at the pond below the house and a bit further runs a stream with small waterfalls. The accommodation is exactly as described on the website, the environment is perfect, small street very quiet.The terrace is very well oriented and therefore sunny.The equipment of the kitchen is just right for 20 people. But if you plan a bbq or raclette, that's fine.

We have been going for 15 years to the Ardennes with the family and this house was for us by far the best. Nothing to criticize. Beautiful layout super nice rooms and bathrooms - great location for walking and the kitchen also tip top shape with plenty of kitchen equipment. We will definitely be back next year!

Marc's house is in a very nice location and has a beautiful garden. It has all the necessary amenities, a practical kitchen and cozy dining area. The wellness area is also recommended. We had a nice autumn weekend here with the whole family.
Small points for improvement: the railings on the stairs are loose, the doors make a loud creaking sound, the pans in the kitchen need to be replaced and the grill of the BBQ was very dirty.
But these are minor points that can easily be resolved and would not stop us from booking here again.

Beautiful location for walkers, and quiet. Close to a pedestrian bridge over the Semois, from which numerous signposted walks can be started. Also recommended for (sporty) cyclists, with eg. Orval Abbey is 16 km away, along car-free roads. All necessary facilities are available. Especially the terrace with garden at the back is a nice place to stay.

Good house in a nice location. The rooms were clean and the house offered everything we needed. The beautiful weather also allowed us to fully enjoy the terrace and the view of the forest. The kitchen and sitting area were perhaps a bit on the small side, but that was certainly not disturbing. The price / quality ratio was also top.

The house is very neat and clean. Nice that every bedroom has a bathroom. One attic bedroom has no door, no problem for us because we did not use it. Sauna (wood burning) is great. A beautiful space around it to cool off, rest and take a shower. You can also use the garden and the garden hose to cool off. Environment is very beautiful with lots of walks which start nearby. Many forest and big river. There are two dots of information on the website that are not right at ground floor two bed, two single beds. Throughout the house are one person beds. There is one small small freezer in one of the two refrigerators.

Marc's house is in a very nice location and has a beautiful garden. It has all the necessary amenities, a practical kitchen and cozy dining area. The wellness area is also recommended. We had a nice autumn weekend here with the whole family.
Small points for improvement: the railings on the stairs are loose, the doors make a loud creaking sound, the pans in the kitchen need to be replaced and the grill of the BBQ was very dirty.
But these are minor points that can easily be resolved and would not stop us from booking here again.

The house is very neat and clean. Nice that every bedroom has a bathroom. One attic bedroom has no door, no problem for us because we did not use it. Sauna (wood burning) is great. A beautiful space around it to cool off, rest and take a shower. You can also use the garden and the garden hose to cool off. Environment is very beautiful with lots of walks which start nearby. Many forest and big river. There are two dots of information on the website that are not right at ground floor two bed, two single beds. Throughout the house are one person beds. There is one small small freezer in one of the two refrigerators.

Thanks to a preliminary contact with the owner and the presence of the manager was the commissioning of the house as arranged. The house is very spacious, nicely furnished and equipped. The wood-fired sauna and fireplace made it all off. The quiet location on the edge of the forest, we were able to fully relax and enjoy. In the village of Chiny is a small supermarket where you can buy bread, and a reputable butcher. 5 km away you will find a wide range of shops in Florenville. The beautiful nature invites to hiking. Overall a very successful week!
