This is a luxurious 12-bedroom Castle for 32 people located in the Chiny Ardennes. It has a sauna and bubble bath for relaxation, a recreation room with a billiards table and foosball table, and a fitness room. There are also two ponds and a treehouse for children.

On arrival, the gate of "La Maison des Fleurs" was closed. Due to an electrical fault, the key's sensor was not making contact with the gate. After a phone call to the owner, someone from the village came to open the gate manually and show us around the house. (Our tip would be to make sure that there is someone there immediately upon arrival at 4 am to welcome and provide information.) The house itself was fantastic. Particularly attractive, in good condition and fully equipped. The beds and rooms were fine. With 32 sleeping places, there was more than enough space in this large house for our family group of 18 people. The beautiful garden with extensive lawns, beautiful borders, ponds and fitness equipment was really special. The owner even came by to mow the grass! Contact with the sympathetic owners was pleasant. Although we did not always receive an answer to our first questions via e-mail, the subsequent contact with the app went smoothly and without problems. All in all, we had a wonderful and memorable week in the "flower house". Highly recommended as far as we're concerned!

However, the house is riddled with cameras and even though the owner states they only use it for emergencies, we felt constantly being watched. Multiple times during the weekend we got called under the pretense "the sensors picked up... / the neighbors called..." for things like a door left open or a car that supposedly was wrongly parked. The house is very solitary with large trees encompassing the area, and some of the cameras outside were constantly turned on, scanning left to right. I'm not even sure if this is legal, but if it is, we did not feel comfortable. Upon departure, after cleaning the house, we got accused of losing multiple items which were already absent in the first place when we arrived. Luckily we made videos beforehand to disprove this claim. Finally, €400 from our deposit was withheld because we did not separate the garbage and the water in the jacuzzi was cloudy. There was still trash from the previous group that had not been taken yet and the water was already cloudy on arrival so there is no saying if we will get this deposit back. Conclusion: It felt like we were in an episode of Big Brother. Even though the house is quite nice, would not recommend solely because of the host.

Beautiful area. Very nice moments but the owners refuse to refund my deposit of 1200€. They sent me 43 photos with dust on the floor, stains on a table, a cup sticking out a centimeter... BEFORE the cleaning, which still costs 250€. Then they try to charge me for damages that were already there when we arrived. Certified by a lot of people This is just outrageous. I will delete this post if I get a refund but otherwise be very careful. There is no inventory at the entrance. And the exit inventory is done without you after your departure. It explains everything. In addition, the Jacuzzi announced on the header of the rental does not work. And we are still waiting for our deposit. If it ever arrives, we will delete this message.

The setting was beautiful, the arrival at the house fairytale.Met the illuminated driveway and the large gate. Totally beautiful. The garden is insanely large and there is plenty of space on the terrace in front and behind. The separate room with a view over the valley is very cool. house could use some maintenance, with regard to the facade and a few parts in the house. However, this was not a deal breaker! In other words, we had a great weekend in this special house.

We stayed here with 24 adults. The house is fantastic. Large, beautiful, good materials, good beds. Decorated with great taste. Sauna, jacuzzi ....... The garden is large and beautiful, although we did not enjoy this time of the year. The arrival went very well. We were accompanied by telephone to get in, to put water and heating on and on. Later, someone came to see it on the spot. The area (the Gaume) is very nice for walking.

The property is very accessible to families or groups of friends with children. The rooms are spacious and in good condition. There is a large garden with playground, tree house and jacuzzi, which is an extra asset!

If you want a nice place to spend time with a varied group in the middle of the beautiful Belgian forests, then this is the place for you. All facilities are available: several rooms downstairs to relax in, nice rooms with enough privacy for each one, space, outdoor facilities (lawn, sauna, jacuzzi, game consoles, large chess board). Easy contact for questions/problems. You will happily accept the inconvenience of having 2 kitchens (instead of 1 large one). In the summer it must be even better given the possibility of sitting outside and BBQ.

Check-in was pleasant. We were well supported and could call at any time. Accommodation was something for everyone with very nice rooms. The seating if something bigger for a group of 15. The seating area is large enough. made pleasant walk in the neighborhood. View is beautiful from the castle.

The mansion is beautifully situated on the Semois, near the church. You have an extensive enclosed area. Inside and outside, you have every luxury and comfort for a group of thirty people.

On arrival a bit difficult to get the key in the key box, have to call for a code, the person whose mobile number was mentioned on the box knew nothing, but had to call another number, after 10 minutes touched in. Worst impression from the outside rather unkempt, grass in the garden was very high and all the shutters were down.

Beautiful accommodation beyond expectations, very large garden and separate recreation room so that those who wanted to make it later were not a burden to the others. Inside it looked good, grass had just been mowed and the beds were great. Only point for improvement would be that the crockery was not clean. But the professional dishwasher solved that within half an hour.

We were there on time, but were not allowed to go in yet, but afterwards it turned out that a few weeks before the place had been pretty demolished by "guests", and many items had been stolen, which probably made them - unfortunately for us - so strict. However, it must be said that this was also about the only downside. The "chateau" was a great place to stay for our group of cyclists. Everything was replenished, the jacuzzi "s and the sauna worked again, there was a large ( coal) BBQ and what we needed was most of it actually present. The bedrooms and beds were also fine, and heard no complaints from anyone about not being able to sleep well. The 2nd floor was also easy to reach, because there is actually an elevator! There were also screens on the windows almost everywhere, so no problems with mosquitoes! More than enough bathrooms / bath / showers / toilet for everyone. Large communal (dining) room with excellent chairs at 4 tables, and 3 comfortable sofas near the large TV, and plenty of crockery. Very strict with separating waste, but most of us were empty beer cans and bottles, and we took the rest with us (it was easier). A beautiful and very large enclosed garden, so that we were not bothered by anything, but no one was bothered by us and "in the evening the chateau was beautifully lit in color. All in all, everyone thought it was a very successful weekend, with a top accommodation!Definitely recommended for larger groups.

Negatives: no one seen from the rental, we were told that someone else would come by to show us around, this has not happened. No one came to help us when the water temporarily ran out, when both jacuzzis and also the vinyl record player did not work .. that is very bad! Finally a neighbor (?), who apparently has access (?) just entered the site to take the measurements of one of our things without saying a word and then leave without a word!?I don't think that's a normal course of business.In short: It's a shame that we were not helped during problems and that the equipment present does not function as advertised.Verder a beautiful and luxurious stay.
