In consultation with the landlord, who speaks good Dutch, we were able to check in 2 hours earlier. That was very pleasant otherwise we had to arrive in the dark. It is a beautiful spacious house with large bathroom, kitchen and enclosed (large) garden which is nice for a possible dog. We were there with 2 people. With 4, it might be a bit clumsy as far as the toilet is concerned; this is located in the bathroom next to 1 of the 2 bedrooms. The other bedroom is located in a different part of the house, which also requires climbing another (slightly steep) staircase. Unfortunately, there is poor 4G and poor WiFi. We thought that was a serious flaw. For the rest, we thought it was a fantastic house.

The reception was nice and very friendly. The house is very clean and super cozy. Large bedrooms with very good beds. Stairs are slightly steeper than normal but did not disturb us. The kitchen has all the appliances that should normally be present. During our fourteen days we really enjoyed it here and will definitely come back. Environment is very beautiful with nice villages. Highly recommended .

It is a very nice house, but all different floor levels and therefore certainly not suitable for the elderly or very young children. The atmosphere is cozy, our house was cold on arrival but that was explained why, in the end we have some ourselves bought wood and made heat (the central heating boiler was already turned off because of the summer, only we now have a cold summer, so not convenient) Super nice owners, very helpful and friendly, the lady speaks good English and the gentleman speaks good Flemish. not a single word frans.Maybe a single point of improvement on the towels for the kitchen, you only get two pieces, that is very little, and you also have to dry your hands with it.Toilet paper also only 1 roll with 4 people is too little. But these are positive points for improvement, we had a very nice stay in the morning, very nice to see cows in the backyard. The internet / wifi is a drama, luckily I had my own router t and solved this for ourselves. We also received a bottle of wine from these nice people. All in all had a nice holiday, activities 30min drive from Gimnee / cottage.

Goed ontvangst, de eigenaar is zeer vriendelijk en spreekt nederlands. Huis mooi en schoon en gezellig ingericht. De tuin is groot met 2 zitgedeeltes en gezelschap van een paard en koeien die nieuwschierig komen kijken.slaapkamers mooi en goede matrassen en de bedden waren opgemaakt. The garden is fully fenced, which is definitely a plus if you travel with dogs. owners are very friendly people: Mrs. speaks fluent French and English, the gentleman also speaks Nederlands.Men also gives tips where you can go in the area for fun activities + documentation is available in the huis.Bedden were made on arrival, as well as welcome drink in the fridge and presence of kitchen linen. We have had a very pleasant and restful holiday. Worth repeating.

This cottage is an absolute must. It is incredibly charming, spacious and totally Ardennes. You will find a spacious fenced garden that is ideal for your four-legged friend (s). The bedrooms are spacious and very nicely decorated. In the living room there is a wonderful wood stove that gives you cozy warmth in the fall. The owner is very friendly and gives you a warm welcome. In short, an absolute winner. The only flaw that may be mentioned is that the WIFI does not give a strong signal. However, a UTP cable is present.

The house itself looks very southern, has a large garden with BBQ, lounge (not very comfortable) but the view of the meadows is pleasant. However, the house itself was very illogically furnished, despite the fact that the spaces were large enough, a guest toilet was missing downstairs . The only bathroom and toilet was reached by a steep staircase. One bedroom could also be reached via this staircase. However, the other bedroom was completely on the other side and could be reached via an even steeper staircase that was then followed by 2 steps down which is very dangerous especially if you have to walk through the whole house at night to go to the toilet It would be more logical to move the bathroom to the middle (where bedroom1 is now) and then provide 2 doors to each side, the walls are not load-bearing anyway. The kitchen utensils were limited. Furthermore, the bed in the master bedroom and also the patio chairs very hard.You do not feel rested "in the morning. WIFI, 4G and mobile telephone traffic very poor, usually only emergency numbers available. The owner speaks very decent Dutch which we thought was great. The accommodation is very rural which was nice but not always as positive as we thought. Until 11 pm the farmers were haying which is quite noisy. Limited air traffic. There is only 1 catering facility within walking distance and it was only open on request. Other things can be reached by car, sometimes have a limited card, but there is something for everyone. AD proxi Delhaize at 4 km with an extensive range. Very nice area for beautiful walks in the area.

Very warm welcome in a squat, charming house. Everything you need is there. Only the fact that the bedrooms each with a separate staircase are accessible, makes this property is not so suitable to stay with (smaller) children. This region (yet) is not so familiar with Flemish tourism but certainly worth exploring. Green surroundings, many forests, tiny charming villages, nice ravel (bike) route. Region close to 5 km from the French town of Givet and 20 km from the renewed Dinant. The holiday home is warmly decorated and has a beautiful south-facing garden. Highly recommended. Very friendly owner who also speaks Dutch.

Charlemont the Citadelle of Givet is nowadays to be seen ..... in Pays des Lac are a Numerous of the most beautiful villages of Wallonia, cycling and hiking routes, the Caves of Neptunes, various museums, a butterfly garden in Chimay-Virelles, and much more ..... really worth a visit to discover this area!

Nice setting with the French town Givet which is close by, and is definitely worth a visit, the accommodation is well looked after and very tidy and clean, the upper floor is quite low for people above 1.95 meters.

The arrival went smoothly, we were earlier than expected but the owner walked to the love that brought everything right for us. The house was very well laid out and clean, just the garden is rather small. Downside with dogs they can easily get to the dunghill and all bins that are parked at the back of the garden. The fence was sufficient for us but is quite low for large dogs. Because of the bad weather, we can not do much sitting outside so this was not a problem for us. The neighbors had to go through our yard to go to their home, this is not told in advance, there were suddenly people shopping through the garden. Little hiking trails that leave the house, just a cycle path which you can walk and eventually you come or from a forest but this was a little step, so better leave by car. The second room had an open staircase (also without door) and is pretty dangerous. There was a fire inside, but the wood for this was quite prijzig.Voor us it was a nice holiday, but we go there a second time to go.

On arrival we were warmly welcomed by the owner who speaks good Dutch. For the tour we had the dogs still left in the car, but the owner was so welcoming to represent us immediately to get the dogs out of the car and leave in the garden. As he had already done put a bowl of water for them. We felt welcome immediately. During the entire stay the owner was present for info, but only if we had here need. The garden is ideal for dogs and perfectly enclosed. We had to worry us at any time about the dogs. Despite often pets are on the floor, was the garden and the house perfectly maintained! Highly recommended for anyone who wants to enjoy his dogs from the Ardennes nature. Just a pity the badly signposted walks in the area and the lack of tourist maps in the surrounding tourist offices.

Very nice weekend had behind it, we enjoyed it very genoten.Spijtig that the cottage is no nearer to a forest, hard to find, numbering is wrong (are together). Located on the track where car 's drive but is behind another house in which you do not hear from here or notes. Suddenly you enter the house you feel the peace. Beautiful, large, enclosed garden opening onto fields (cows and horses) was perfect with our big dog. The house is furnished very cozy, nice rooms, large bathroom, there are a lot of different depth, small verhoogjes, which were sometimes a bit dangerous for our baby of 2y, all you need you can find there. There are bikes available (included in the price), games, badminton ... it had us certainly may take longer. had the house located by a forest we were walking we would go back immediately but it bothered not because you could drive a little further by car and there could make beautiful walks. the owners are very friendly, helpful people we always were able to find but everything was fine.

We had a great weekend at the above location.We were very warm welcome by the owner who speaks Dutch still pretty good for that environment. He had us shown around the cottage which was also nice. The cabin itself was very idilisch and because it is rural, it was a lovely quiet area. You can go hiking and cycling. For questions you could always knock on the owner which was also fine. It is really relaxing to come back after a lovely weekend.

We have excellent day trips from here can make towards Sedan, Bouilion, HAM and Dinant.Als you can back really quiet, I understand the reviews on steep staircase but fine for us with older children. It is the bedroom on the other side of the house is also nice with children.

We have enjoyed a beautiful sunny weekend in the spring of this cottage. With our two young children the many elevation changes were sometimes a challenge and low doorways regularly came a little too close. Nevertheless, we have stayed with pleasure in this lovely spacious house and enjoyed the nice beds, spacious and sunny garden and lovely rural views. Because the house at eight jar is without windows to the street and on a quiet road, we have fully enjoy the silence.

It is a very nice house, but all different floor levels and therefore certainly not suitable for the elderly or very young children. The atmosphere is cozy, our house was cold on arrival but that was explained why, in the end we have some ourselves bought wood and made heat (the central heating boiler was already turned off because of the summer, only we now have a cold summer, so not convenient) Super nice owners, very helpful and friendly, the lady speaks good English and the gentleman speaks good Flemish. not a single word frans.Maybe a single point of improvement on the towels for the kitchen, you only get two pieces, that is very little, and you also have to dry your hands with it.Toilet paper also only 1 roll with 4 people is too little. But these are positive points for improvement, we had a very nice stay in the morning, very nice to see cows in the backyard. The internet / wifi is a drama, luckily I had my own router t and solved this for ourselves. We also received a bottle of wine from these nice people. All in all had a nice holiday, activities 30min drive from Gimnee / cottage.

The house itself looks very southern, has a large garden with BBQ, lounge (not very comfortable) but the view of the meadows is pleasant. However, the house itself was very illogically furnished, despite the fact that the spaces were large enough, a guest toilet was missing downstairs . The only bathroom and toilet was reached by a steep staircase. One bedroom could also be reached via this staircase. However, the other bedroom was completely on the other side and could be reached via an even steeper staircase that was then followed by 2 steps down which is very dangerous especially if you have to walk through the whole house at night to go to the toilet It would be more logical to move the bathroom to the middle (where bedroom1 is now) and then provide 2 doors to each side, the walls are not load-bearing anyway. The kitchen utensils were limited. Furthermore, the bed in the master bedroom and also the patio chairs very hard.You do not feel rested "in the morning. There is only 1 catering facility within walking distance and it was only open on request. Other things can be reached by car, sometimes have a limited card, but there is something for everyone. This cottage is an absolute must. It is incredibly charming, spacious and totally Ardennes. You will find a spacious fenced garden that is ideal for your four-legged friend (s). The bedrooms are spacious and very nicely decorated. In the living room there is a wonderful wood stove that gives you cozy warmth in the fall. The owner is very friendly and gives you a warm welcome. In short, an absolute winner. The only flaw that may be mentioned is that the WIFI does not give a strong signal. However, a UTP cable is present.

In consultation with the landlord, who speaks good Dutch, we were able to check in 2 hours earlier. That was very pleasant otherwise we had to arrive in the dark. It is a beautiful spacious house with large bathroom, kitchen and enclosed (large) garden which is nice for a possible dog. We were there with 2 people. With 4, it might be a bit clumsy as far as the toilet is concerned; this is located in the bathroom next to 1 of the 2 bedrooms. The other bedroom is located in a different part of the house, which also requires climbing another (slightly steep) staircase. Unfortunately, there is poor 4G and poor WiFi. We thought that was a serious flaw. For the rest, we thought it was a fantastic house.

Very nice weekend had behind it, we enjoyed it very genoten.Spijtig that the cottage is no nearer to a forest, hard to find, numbering is wrong (are together). Located on the track where car 's drive but is behind another house in which you do not hear from here or notes. Suddenly you enter the house you feel the peace. Beautiful, large, enclosed garden opening onto fields (cows and horses) was perfect with our big dog. The house is furnished very cozy, nice rooms, large bathroom, there are a lot of different depth, small verhoogjes, which were sometimes a bit dangerous for our baby of 2y, all you need you can find there. For the tour we had the dogs still left in the car, but the owner was so welcoming to represent us immediately to get the dogs out of the car and leave in the garden. The arrival went smoothly, we were earlier than expected but the owner walked to the love that brought everything right for us. The house was very well laid out and clean, just the garden is rather small. Downside with dogs they can easily get to the dunghill and all bins that are parked at the back of the garden. The fence was sufficient for us but is quite low for large dogs. Because of the bad weather, we can not do much sitting outside so this was not a problem for us. The neighbors had to go through our yard to go to their home, this is not told in advance, there were suddenly people shopping through the garden. Little hiking trails that leave the house, just a cycle path which you can walk and eventually you come or from a forest but this was a little step, so better leave by car. The second room had an open staircase (also without door) and is pretty dangerous. There was a fire inside, but the wood for this was quite prijzig.Voor us it was a nice holiday, but we go there a second time to go.

The cottage is a beautiful place, with a view on the meadows and woods. I especially give compliments to the owners who really had everything arranged perfectly. The owner already came out when we were driving to and left alike see the cottage. They really have thought of everything, outside was a barbecue, a super nice place to sit outside, inside layers of blankets for cooler evenings and brochures about the area. Also in the kitchen was really everything you need (coffee, many pans, knives, plenty of crockery, barbecuegerei, fryer, blender, etc.). The beds were neatly made, everything was ready to stabbing the fireplace and it was remarkably clean. For our two dogs it was quite enjoy because the garden was trimmed neatly. The only downside I could think of was the garden at the cottage is also the entrance to the house next door. Thus come occasionally walk through the garden. All in all we had a lovely weekend in the Ardennes!

On Friday, May 13th, we came to the Ardennes with four adults and three dogs to look for some rest and relaxation. We have here also found good. We enjoyed the walks with our 3 rascals. the forest is unfortunately still go a little before you sit on a forest path. The nice garden makes up for it. Nicely maintained and spacious enough for the dogs. In the kitchen utensils \/ equipment was missing quite a few parts still be useful as a beater, truck stop, ... The house was well maintained and the beds neatly covers on arrival. By the hospitality of the landlady who immediately opened the door when entering the driveway we felt instantly welcome. Overall, I would definitely recommend the cottage. :)

Goed ontvangst, de eigenaar is zeer vriendelijk en spreekt nederlands. Huis mooi en schoon en gezellig ingericht. De tuin is groot met 2 zitgedeeltes en gezelschap van een paard en koeien die nieuwschierig komen kijken.slaapkamers mooi en goede matrassen en de bedden waren opgemaakt. Mooie omgeving met steden als Dinant en Namen en Luxemburg. Leuke vakantie met onze 3 dochters en hond.

Very welcome by the owner, with all necessary explanations. Very clean and well equipped, beautiful rooms and bathroom. The garden is large and well fenced ideal for dogs. Very quiet place, conducive to walks and close to a Ravel.

a very nice location, the house is very nice and snug everything we needed was definitely present !!! Our three dogs were also welcome and even their presence was all highly recommended for pet owners !!! We definitely go back

Very nice weekend had behind it, we enjoyed it very genoten.Spijtig that the cottage is no nearer to a forest, hard to find, numbering is wrong (are together). Located on the track where car 's drive but is behind another house in which you do not hear from here or notes. Suddenly you enter the house you feel the peace. Beautiful, large, enclosed garden opening onto fields (cows and horses) was perfect with our big dog. The house is furnished very cozy, nice rooms, large bathroom, there are a lot of different depth, small verhoogjes, which were sometimes a bit dangerous for our baby of 2y, all you need you can find there. There are bikes available (included in the price), games, badminton ... it had us certainly may take longer. had the house located by a forest we were walking we would go back immediately but it bothered not because you could drive a little further by car and there could make beautiful walks. the owners are very friendly, helpful people we always were able to find but everything was fine.

On arrival we were warmly welcomed by the owner who speaks good Dutch. For the tour we had the dogs still left in the car, but the owner was so welcoming to represent us immediately to get the dogs out of the car and leave in the garden. As he had already done put a bowl of water for them. We felt welcome immediately. During the entire stay the owner was present for info, but only if we had here need. The garden is ideal for dogs and perfectly enclosed. We had to worry us at any time about the dogs. Despite often pets are on the floor, was the garden and the house perfectly maintained! Highly recommended for anyone who wants to enjoy his dogs from the Ardennes nature. Just a pity the badly signposted walks in the area and the lack of tourist maps in the surrounding tourist offices.

This region (yet) is not so familiar with Flemish tourism but certainly worth exploring. Green surroundings, many forests, tiny charming villages, nice ravel (bike) route. Region close to 5 km from the French town of Givet and 20 km from the renewed Dinant. The holiday home is warmly decorated and has a beautiful south-facing garden. Highly recommended. Very friendly owner who also speaks Dutch.

Very warm welcome. Nice and tidy accomodation. Eye for interior. Cozy garden. Hard to find (between house number 66 and 70, small corridor. Sign in at house number 66). However, the wifi signal was very bad, which was a dump for our children.

Beautiful and quiet environment. The holiday home was very clean, all amenities available. The garden is fully fenced, which is definitely a plus if you travel with dogs. owners are very friendly people: Mrs. speaks fluent French and English, the gentleman also speaks Nederlands.Men also gives tips where you can go in the area for fun activities + documentation is available in the huis.Bedden were made on arrival, as well as welcome drink in the fridge and presence of kitchen linen. We have had a very pleasant and restful holiday. Worth repeating.

In consultation with the landlord, who speaks good Dutch, we were able to check in 2 hours earlier. That was very pleasant otherwise we had to arrive in the dark. It is a beautiful spacious house with large bathroom, kitchen and enclosed (large) garden which is nice for a possible dog. We were there with 2 people. With 4, it might be a bit clumsy as far as the toilet is concerned; this is located in the bathroom next to 1 of the 2 bedrooms. The other bedroom is located in a different part of the house, which also requires climbing another (slightly steep) staircase. Unfortunately, there is poor 4G and poor WiFi. We thought that was a serious flaw. For the rest, we thought it was a fantastic house.

We have enjoyed a beautiful sunny weekend in the spring of this cottage. With our two young children the many elevation changes were sometimes a challenge and low doorways regularly came a little too close. Nevertheless, we have stayed with pleasure in this lovely spacious house and enjoyed the nice beds, spacious and sunny garden and lovely rural views. Because the house at eight jar is without windows to the street and on a quiet road, we have fully enjoy the silence.

Lovely cottage in a beautiful place in the Ardennes ....... welcoming owners (speak Dutch). Very stylishly decorated and really thought of everything ...... good beds, well equipped kitchen, nice bathroom and everything soup clean ! Beautiful garden ...... we have had a lovely weekend! Besides a lot of things in this part of the Ardennes ..... Charlemont the Citadelle of Givet is nowadays to be seen ..... in Pays des Lac are a Numerous of the most beautiful villages of Wallonia, cycling and hiking routes, the Caves of Neptunes, various museums, a butterfly garden in Chimay-Virelles, and much more ..... really worth a visit to discover this area!

The fence was sufficient for us but is quite low for large dogs. Because of the bad weather, we can not do much sitting outside so this was not a problem for us. The neighbors had to go through our yard to go to their home, this is not told in advance, there were suddenly people shopping through the garden. Little hiking trails that leave the house, just a cycle path which you can walk and eventually you come or from a forest but this was a little step, so better leave by car. The second room had an open staircase (also without door) and is pretty dangerous. There was a fire inside, but the wood for this was quite prijzig.Voor us it was a nice holiday, but we go there a second time to go.

On Friday, May 13th, we came to the Ardennes with four adults and three dogs to look for some rest and relaxation. We have here also found good. We enjoyed the walks with our 3 rascals. the forest is unfortunately still go a little before you sit on a forest path. The nice garden makes up for it. Nicely maintained and spacious enough for the dogs. In the kitchen utensils \/ equipment was missing quite a few parts still be useful as a beater, truck stop, ... The house was well maintained and the beds neatly covers on arrival. By the hospitality of the landlady who immediately opened the door when entering the driveway we felt instantly welcome. Overall, I would definitely recommend the cottage. :)

The cottage is a beautiful place, with a view on the meadows and woods. I especially give compliments to the owners who really had everything arranged perfectly. The owner already came out when we were driving to and left alike see the cottage. They really have thought of everything, outside was a barbecue, a super nice place to sit outside, inside layers of blankets for cooler evenings and brochures about the area. Also in the kitchen was really everything you need (coffee, many pans, knives, plenty of crockery, barbecuegerei, fryer, blender, etc.). The beds were neatly made, everything was ready to stabbing the fireplace and it was remarkably clean. For our two dogs it was quite enjoy because the garden was trimmed neatly. The only downside I could think of was the garden at the cottage is also the entrance to the house next door. Thus come occasionally walk through the garden. All in all we had a lovely weekend in the Ardennes!

Nice and cozy holiday home in a quiet omgeving.Wij lacked personal polish conveniences (vacuum cleaner \/ brush), since we were on vacation with three dogs and after 2 or 3 days anyway wanted to vacuuming the house while so again its free was.Ook the mezzanine bedroom with ewtra bed is dangerous, as there is no railing around state.
