This is a 4-bedroom cottage in Gimn�e (Doische) to spend an unforgettable holiday with a family or group of 9 people. You can enjoy the evenings on the terrace around a hot barbecue and have sizzling meals with a glass of wine.
Gimn�e (Doische) is a small, rural village close to Namur, bordering the Ardennes Region. Numerous outdoor activities like skiing, hiking, hunting, cycling, walking, and canoeing make Ardennes a popular choice among tourists. You can wander through the town center at 0.1 km in the evenings. Supermarkets and restaurants are at 3 km.
This rural cottage built-in 2008 offers you a welcoming atmosphere and is equipped with central heating. In the open kitchen, you can prepare recipes of choice and involve your children in cooking. just returned from a wonderful midweek in Gimnée. Despite the rainy weather we can do, visited the steam train through the valleys and the town of Dinant. Han caves lot But the most fun was still farm the owners across the path! Our 3 year old son has looked every day during milking (even got fresh milk with it) and the calves! Our dog has been good to live in the adjacent woodland. and, very importantly, the beds were great! We are very satisfied! Next year we go again!

From 13 to 20 July 2018 we spent a fantastic week in Gimnée with our children and grandchildren and two dogs. The garden was perfectly fenced and big enough for the dogs, and we had a lot of shade thanks to the giant chestnut tree. Luc and Bernadette are super-sympathetic, and the house was really top.De grandchildren (and we too) found it impressive when the cows went right behind our garden to the meadow.We have made beautiful walks in the forest behind our house. And also the trip to Dinant was very nice. Everyone agreed, it was a great week, and we will definitely come back.Leo and Ria and family Zoersel.

We had a great time here in the spacious, beautifully situated family house. We stayed with six adults and three children, one week in May 2010 in Gimnée. Lots of walking in the area. A swimming pool in Givet (10 km away), do not forget that one is not allowed to swim in shorts.Landelijke surroundings, friendly owners, good equipment of the kitchen.

The last part of the ride to this house, we arrived completely in holiday mood. Beautiful environment. The house is in a quiet place and looks good.Super that there is already everything for the children to play with. There is a lot to do in the area. We enjoyed a ride in the old diesel train from the museum. (Secretly nicer than the ride with the steam train back). The view of the Citadel of Dinant is also beautiful as is the road along the water to it. Elfy Parc in France is fun for children between 2 and 12, lots of shade. We enjoyed our holiday in this nice house with beautiful garden. Also nice that the children could greet the cows every day. Recommended!

The weather was not so good but the large space made it very pleasant to stay. The area is very relaxing and located on a hiking trail.

The owner lives opposite the house and was in all areas very behulpzaam.Ook in finding a suitable restaurant, was immediately searched the internet and called for a reservation. The eigenaaresse lent us an excellent barbecue with charcoal, wood and firelighters. Very special was that the neighbor serve delicious soup for 3 per liter sold. Much walked in the immediate wooded omgeving.Een highly recommended.

The house is very quiet in a beautiful natural environment. There is a nice walking path right next to the house.The house is very practical (everything is available) and there is also a nice garden. The only downside is that there is almost no place to hang your clothes away. Each room has 1 small closet with shelves. An extra rack for hanging clothes would be handy. The ground floor is top with a practical kitchen and a nice living room with a large, long table and a nice salon. We were there with the holidays and the house was nicely decorated and when we arrived burned the lights of the Christmas tree which gave a very welcome feeling. Very friendly hostess.

We stayed a weekend in "Le Grenier de Louise," a spacious and cozy house with all the trimmings, in a quiet environment. With halloween decorations had the owner still contributed more atmosphere. We have a surprisingly beautiful region of Belgium discovered! Where you will not get bored, there are plenty of opportunities to do something: kayaking (and with unexpected vistas encounter), hiking, the citadel an Dinant visits, along the side of the Maas hiking and rock climbers behold, several reservoirs visits, ruins, castles and churches, not to mention the REST this country emanates: Delicious! this home offers plenty of space and comfort. The owners are very friendly people who are doing their best to the guests to feel at ease, even try to Dutch spreken.Wij there two weeks, and have never ontstresst, some getting used to but delicious! As every year we spent a week with children and grandchildren in the Ardennes. We have so many cottages inhabited. Le Grenier De Louise is certainly in the top three in terms of comfort, equipment, cleanliness and friendliness. We felt immediately welcome. The house was attractively decorated in sign of Halloween and nice heated. In the vicinity are several walks (long before the real tractors and short for the little ones). The castle of Freyr and the railway museum in Treignes are recommended. And if you're totally excited in Halloween style will make sure you have the last weekend of October ride the steam train. We really enjoyed our week in autumn.

just returned from a wonderful midweek in Gimnée. Despite the rainy weather we can do, visited the steam train through the valleys and the town of Dinant. Han caves lot But the most fun was still farm the owners across the path! Our 3 year old son has looked every day during milking (even got fresh milk with it) and the calves! Our dog has been good to live in the adjacent woodland. and, very importantly, the beds were great! We are very satisfied! Next year we go again!

With a group of friends having fun staying in the house, where we were welcomed by a friendly owner. The house is nicely furnished, clean and has a kitchen where you can cook well (enough pans, utensils, etc.). For tall people, the beds are rather small.

This residence feels like coming home but with hotel service, tasteful, spacious, comfortable, everything you need to Senseo pads in different flavors. The weather was stormy, but it was so cozy and comfortable inside that we found very definitely not. Highly recommended for both groups of friends and for families with children

We have a great time in this holiday week. A very big plus is the equipment of the house. the kitchen just fine, with all appliances, cutlery, glasses, plates. The area is wonderful for walking.

Had excellent holiday! A house with all the trimmings. Also excellent features indoor and outdoor toys for children. Super friendly and enthusiastic owners. We must look at how the cows were milked and even got a large can of fresh milk mee.Veel attractions nearby. Directly behind the house you can see the forest. Bakery and shops in the village a few minutes drive away. Overall worth repeating!

The last part of the ride to this house, we arrived completely in holiday mood. Beautiful environment. The house is in a quiet place and looks good.Super that there is already everything for the children to play with. There is a lot to do in the area. We enjoyed a ride in the old diesel train from the museum. (Secretly nicer than the ride with the steam train back). The view of the Citadel of Dinant is also beautiful as is the road along the water to it. Elfy Parc in France is fun for children between 2 and 12, lots of shade. We enjoyed our holiday in this nice house with beautiful garden. Also nice that the children could greet the cows every day. Recommended!

From 13 to 20 July 2018 we spent a fantastic week in Gimnée with our children and grandchildren and two dogs. The garden was perfectly fenced and big enough for the dogs, and we had a lot of shade thanks to the giant chestnut tree. Luc and Bernadette are super-sympathetic, and the house was really top.De grandchildren (and we too) found it impressive when the cows went right behind our garden to the meadow.We have made beautiful walks in the forest behind our house. And also the trip to Dinant was very nice. Everyone agreed, it was a great week, and we will definitely come back.Leo and Ria and family Zoersel.

Reception by owner was very good. Beautiful house with a beautiful interior, located next to the farm of the owner. Quiet location, with a play area for children behind the house. Also ideal to leave with dogs for a walk.

With 2 families and our dog, we spent a wonderful week in this very cozy cottage. The owners are very friendly. We may look at the milking and a small calf born to be seen in the meadow. When the neighbor below you can order delicious soup. In short, highly recommended!

We have a wonderful, peaceful holiday. We were very kindly received by the owner of the house. The house is fully equipped. We went with 5 people and a dog, ideal location. The dog could wander around in the backyard, but once you anticipating the gate, you walk right into the woods. For questions about the house or on the surroundings we could always go to the owner, who has a nice little Dutch can. What great fun were those cows to inches along the back walk. Overall a very relaxing holiday with some fun trips to places nearby.

The house is very quiet in a beautiful natural environment. There is a nice walking path right next to the house.The house is very practical (everything is available) and there is also a nice garden. The only downside is that there is almost no place to hang your clothes away. Each room has 1 small closet with shelves. An extra rack for hanging clothes would be handy. The ground floor is top with a practical kitchen and a nice living room with a large, long table and a nice salon. We were there with the holidays and the house was nicely decorated and when we arrived burned the lights of the Christmas tree which gave a very welcome feeling. Very friendly hostess.

Very friendly welcome. Nice, spacious, cozy country house with small but nice fenced garden with BBQ and a nice view. (playground and petanque are located next to the garden). Quiet location and many opportunities for walking the dogs, also from the house. Our 3rd dog was also welcome after consultation! We had a wonderful weekend with 2 families (8 adults)

Beautiful cottage with all the trimmings, but hiking maps issued by tourist office Gimnée are not as good because of the designation of the trails in fact one has from 9 to 16 miles away to find (walking maps from the tourist office Nismes well-marked trails back )

We stayed for three weeks in this beautiful holiday home with the whole family including 2 kids (2 and 4 years old). The arrival was fantastic, everything looked neat and tidy and the entire inventory was more than adequate. The cottage itself is beautifully situated on top of a hill, so that you have a beautiful view from part of the bedrooms and the garden. Lovely at the end of a street so you have complete privacy. There was also plenty to do in the area. A different outing every day for three weeks. We have not been bored for a second. Definitely recommended for a carefree holiday!

We think this is a super-luxurious holiday! Spacious living room with open kitchen, fully equipped. The large windows along 3 sides, even above, giving a great sense of space. Two rooms have a private shower and sink way. Everything was very neat. The owners have a house made of where you feel at home.

A very comfortable house for 2 families and 1 dog, well heated, clean, fully equipped, good seating and dining area, spacious kitchen is equipped with cookware, cutlery, utensils etc. For a real Dutchman really only missing the cheese slicer . -) -); Nice shower rooms, good beds. The only down side (but really the only) is that the beds are less suitable for people> 190 cm. From the house you are immediately in the forest, beautiful walks in the immediate area, nice places to visit. In short: definitely worth repeating.

Owners are very friendly. Kids can take a look at the koeien.Fijn, spacious and tasteful house, everything is there except a teapot ;). Brochures and information are properly disposed and orderly present. Outside the garden there is a playground and slide, great! Enough toys for the kids, Dutch reading material, shuffleboard and badminton rackets available!

Very friendly welcome !! Very nice and spacious accommodation. Everything you need is available. The kitchen is very well equipped and there are many plates, glasses, cutlery, ... The weather was not so good but the large space made it very pleasant to stay. The area is very relaxing and located on a hiking trail.

We stayed a weekend in "Le Grenier de Louise," a spacious and cozy house with all the trimmings, in a quiet environment. With halloween decorations had the owner still contributed more atmosphere. Within walking distance there is little to do, but a short drive by car (or bike) brings you quickly to numerous activities. This home is a must for a large family, several smaller families or friends together, even for a longer holiday.
