Comfortable beds and central heating kept us warm on cooler nights. The amenities for the children were also impressive with a play bed and a high chair, which made it easy for us to travel with grandchildren.

Very nice house, very clean! In the village, there is little to do, but in 25 minutes you are in Dinant. Super nice lady, only speaks French. The cottage is cozily furnished and spacious enough.

The house was full of knick-knacks that we first cleaned up. When you stay with 9 adults, you quickly get in each other's way. There was nothing to do in the village, not even a bakery.

It was a large and fully furnished house. However, the house is not clean. In fact, under the long cabinet in the living room, there was a dead mouse. So we don't understand the cleaning costs.

We had a weekend away with family. When we arrived the fireplace was on, by the madam of the house we were shown in a nice Christmas market where we went the other day. The house is very spacious and everything is there, to be repeated!

Pretty nice house, attractive and complete, but really in the middle of nowhere. Hostess is very friendly but does not speak a word of English or Dutch, so with my little French I got there. Firewood is apparently required to purchase and costs 5 euros per bag more suddenly, so 20 instead of 15 euros. Unfortunately, the promised baby box was not present, a little bit, but it cannot simply be lifted down. This was really very much of a problem with a 2.5 month old baby

We were very well received and shown around the house. The accommodation was perfect for our family. The area is quiet, little wooded, open. A recommended brasserie des eaux vives, nice tour and tasting of 2 tasty beers in the adjacent village. Small specialties are also available.

The house is beautiful, well kept and spacious. There is no router in the house, only one amplifier internet. There was virtually no internet all the time and if it was then the connection was super slow, so that it was unusable with that connection. The only method to get a better connection was holding. We have been in the house for 1 week with 8 people. It has plenty of space and is well equipped. Gimnée is a small village with no shops, but the area is beautiful and offers plenty of trips! Unfortunately it was too cold and wet, so there is the program of outings on adjusted. But we have entertained us just fine!

A beautifully fully furnished and equipped house. New modern kitchen with all necessary appliances (including induction cooktop and fryer) that does not detract from the authenticity of the former stable that the house actually is. The house is the middle one in a row of three, and although it is somewhat noisy from and to the neighbors (permanent residents) on both sides, that has not been bothersome in our experience. In the (fully paved) garden, it is lovely to sit, despite its location on the main road. (But in a reasonably remote village, it is absolutely not busy) With the BBQ next to it, a great evening can be enjoyed there. The owner lives in the street behind and directly opposite the back door and is friendly and involved. The church next to the row of houses is no longer active as a church but is, as we have understood, used as a cultural center. No hustle and bustle in front of the door on Sunday morning! The bells in the bell tower are still functional. Every hour the time is announced, and at 8:00 PM they ring a little longer. However, the tower is located on the other side of the building in relation to the house and does not sound very loud. We brought our dog with us. Taking her out was always a walk since there is hardly any green to be found in the village itself. Just outside the village (three streets down the slope. Note; you have to go back again ;-)) is a long but dead-end side street where dogs can run free. Two cars may be parked in front of the door, but because that piece of asphalt is shared with the neighbors, they quickly feel (subjectively) in the way. And since you also don't want to keep looking at your car while enjoying the garden, we regularly parked in the square behind the church, 50 meters further away. That's quite doable. We had a great stay in Gymnée. It is a bit further away (half an hour's drive) from all (tourist) activities, but that also brings peace. And you can enjoy walking in the immediate surroundings.

Everything was in order. Extensive kitchen utensils. When we arrived, the fireplace was already burning. Cozy. Mrs. Sabine said this wood is free and afterwards it is 15€ for refilling. We ordered a load 2 times because it was so cozy in the evening, so we thought that would be an additional 30€, but when she made the bill, it turned out to cost a total of 60€. 3x 20€. Can she just change this? It clearly states on the papers 15€ per load. From our deposit, we got nothing back and had to pay extra for our 9 nights, which we found quite a lot since we were mostly only there in the evenings and out for the rest of the time. But all in all, we still had a very good vacation. I actually didn't even want to mention this. But a few days ago, we received a text asking why we took a duvet. Which we certainly did not do. We then called back. The duvet she meant was just lying down on the bed. It wasn't to our liking. She then went to check and had overlooked it. So everything is fine. But still a nasty experience for us.

A pleasant surprise as we entered the house. A really cozy typical Ardennes interieur.Alles is well equipped in terms of comfort. Very neat and friendly welcome by the hostess. Many holiday homes are rather sparse furnishings, its atmosphere. But this house is very cozy bing targeting, with attention to detail. Nice to stay in! Also minimums to kitchen stuff is there, such as pepper, salt, flour, other small items, such as candles and toilet paper. Leaving you behind surplus for the next and so share we.Aanrader!

Pretty nice house, attractive and complete, but really in the middle of nowhere. Hostess is very friendly but does not speak a word of English or Dutch, so with my little French I got there. Firewood is apparently required to purchase and costs 5 euros per bag more suddenly, so 20 instead of 15 euros. Unfortunately, the promised baby box was not present, a little bit, but it cannot simply be lifted down. This was really very much of a problem with a 2.5 month old baby

We were very well received and shown around the house. The accommodation was perfect for our family. The area is quiet, little wooded, open. A recommended brasserie des eaux vives, nice tour and tasting of 2 tasty beers in the adjacent village. Small specialties are also available.

We had a weekend away with family. When we arrived the fireplace was on, by the madam of the house we were shown in a nice Christmas market where we went the other day. The house is very spacious and everything is there, to be repeated!

We have been in the house for 1 week with 8 people. It has plenty of space and is well equipped. Gimnée is a small village with no shops, but the area is beautiful and offers plenty of trips! Unfortunately it was too cold and wet, so there is the program of outings on adjusted. But we have entertained us just fine!

Smooth contacts dealing with landlords, quick responses and smoothly arrival, we were allowed our musical earlier post in the house so that we had to leave in the car zitten.Huis very spacious, neat, perfect as omschreven.Rustig village, beautiful environment.

Had a great holiday with the whole family. Nice setting, nice weather. We could barbeque outside. Shame there was no garden, but rather a tarmac in front of the cottage. Be well protected with a fence for the dogs and grandchildren. Delicious canoe in the river Lesse with beer and fries at Anseremme. Comprehensive supermarket in the village. There was a nice market with local delicacies and jewelry. Only pins was a tragedy. Only possible in village 15 km away. Owner refused to deduct the deposit, so we had to drive 30 miles to get it! Money first extra costs

Our holiday with seven children was very nice.The house is furnished and french is fully voorzien.De Wi-Fi works in the cottage the best in the kitchen when raam.een nice holiday with plenty of activities around within 60 minutes drive.
