A very spacious and comfortable vacation home! We were pleasantly surprised by the number of indoor games available. The ping pong table in the basement provided hours of fun for our family. The host was kind and helpful.

Nice, rural cottage in Stoumont with many amenities (kitchenware, brochures, ping pong table, large and sunny garden, ...). The rain shower was a real added value. Good to know: energy and water costs are settled afterwards; this is communicated clearly and transparently via the website and by the owner. Minor downside: the mattress and bed in the front bedroom are in urgent need of replacement.

In the summer of 2022 we stayed 1 week in this house with our 5 children, including 1 baby. Nice location, fairly quiet, but on a highway. Large supermarket is not nearby. Here are some tops and tips in a row ;)Tops: - Upstairs is practically laid out, good beds, nice bathroom. - Fine, large dining tables. Both in and outside. - There is WiFi (code ad on the back of the router under the TV) - Children can play on the lawn, there is a nice table tennis table. - Lovely balcony! Tips: - Check/replace coffee machine, the coffee was not hot - Check the dishwasher, it did not wash properly - Although it was stated that kitchen linen was present, there were only tea towels. - Many toys were dirty, broken or incomplete - The balcony was not safe for a crawling toddler, a gate has yet to be placed - Toilet in the basement, and the kitchen cupboards were not clean. House could be cleaner! - Place some fly screens here and there. All in all, the price-quality ratio is good, and we can look back on a great week in Chevron.

We had planned a week of rest in a beautiful environment. We have certainly succeeded in this Belgian house. Upon arrival we were given a tour of the house where the owner did his best to complement my French school books with his poor English. Because of this we understood each other perfectly. It happened to us more and more that people in Walonie less stubbornly stick to the French language than 10 years ago, so that is an additional advantage. The large amount of kitchen equipment and (very clean) kitchen service in the house stood there were 60 food plates stacked in the cupboards. Furthermore everything needed was present and worked fine. A family of 6 can enjoy themselves here. Wonderful to light the wood fire in the morning. There was sufficient dry wood available for this. The accommodation was therefore more than sufficient for our purpose. However, we have given the owner a improvement tip please replace the sofa in the living room and the mattress of the 2-bed. These have clearly been used for years in both potholes where a German tourist on the Scheveningen beach would be jealous. The environment is fantastic. That you are not the only one who enjoys this you notice especially on the Sunday then it seems half Belgian is pulling out. In addition to the many road bikes and mountain bikes, it is especially the tough motorcycles and sporting sports cars that whiz along your front yard with loud engine noise. It does have some ... if you like the TT. But the rest of the week it is considerably quieter. We have walked wonderfully. One of the signposted tourist walking routes passes the house. The 8 km long route is highly recommended. It is not really necessary to get directions, just follow the white / blue signs. In short, a great holiday spot in less than an hour from the Dutch border.

Upon arrival we were received very friendly with an extensive tour. It is a beautiful and well maintained detached house with a very large (private) garden. The kitchen utensils were very extensive, possibility of burning the stove and campfire / bqq outside. The latter we have therefore done two evenings. The area is very beautiful, lots of nature and beautiful hiking trails. The nicest one I find is the route along the Ninglispo River. about 10 minutes drive from the cottage. http // ardennen.nl / ninglinspo-een-unique-walk-in-the-ardennen / Furthermore, we went to the town Spa for a day and we went to Forestia (http // forestia.be /) for a day. That is a very nice climbing park between the trees for all levels and an animal park where the animals live in semi freedom.In short, there is plenty to do in the neighborhood.Funny villages, beautiful nature and many different outdoor activities.Definitely the worth a visit!

Very friendly reception, delayed by traffic, was no problem. The house was very clean, with spacious rooms and a kitchen with all the trimmings. The bbq, trampoline and ping pong table were a great success. fantastic hiking, climbing (carrienta.com) and kayaking in the area. We had a very nice dinner at the restaurant around the corner.

We had six of us rented the cottage. The house was clean and we got on arrival an extensive tour of the landlords, who were very nice. It's a big house, big enough for the six of us, with a huge garden, complete with trampoline and BBQ. Also in the basement a ping pong table available, just in case the weather is not so good and there are board games. In the cottage is a rack with all leaflets with ideas about what to do in the area and also hiking trails with it. We made walks from this map, the area is hilly with meadows and woods, so fine to wandelen.Ook lovely there is a few hundred meters from the house a nice restaurant, so cooking can be (the kitchen is well equipped ), but absolutely do not.

This holiday home exceeded our expectations! The layout was perfect for our group, and everything was clean and well-maintained. The location was ideal for visiting nearby attractions like the beautiful Coo waterfalls. Would definitely come back!

Good location, 5 km from the motorway, close to hiking trails. We knew there was a supermarket 8 km away, so we had provided. Beautiful surroundings: good base for mountain biking, cycling. We also visited the museum December 44 followed by the walk of the Venne in Stoumont. Very friendly and helpful owner, very flexible with arrival time. Fast and correct handling of deposit and final cleaning.

Nice house but the heating costs of 90 Euro for almost three days around the freezing point were a bit on the high side. The central heating is really in need of maintenance, is leaking and the thermostat buttons are at 0 loeiheet.

The owners of this house are very friendly, the house is neat, clean, large and has a beautiful and green view. There is a lot to do in the area, but also in the house everything is available. We had a great time here with our 1-year-old son. The only downside was that there was no hearing in the windows and there were therefore quite a lot of mosquitoes in the house.

Great house. Good beds (a bit short and narrow). Many stuff present. I.t.t other reviews, just Dutch channels seen on tv.Rustige environment and large beautiful garden. Navigation does not give the right place. It is on the right side of the road, just before the road that you are sent up to the left. We were not the first ones to go wrong because we came back when we asked the road to a resident. No wifi, that is not really of this time.

I had been there a little earlier and that was not a problem. The cottage is in great condition, it's all a bit older but it all works fine and it was also neat and clean all. The surroundings are really beautiful. Many hiking trails in the area, although we specifically came to fish on the nearby river (within walking distance). There is also little in the village, besides vane pump with a small shop selling the first basic supplies. But in the area there is a lot to do, especially outdoor activities.

We were pleasantly welcomed by the owner and his wife, he explained everything (in French) in a cordial manner. It is a well-kept house with spacious rooms, good shower and toilet. It was good to heat, just turning down the heating failed us in the kitchen, including therefore fell heating costs higher than expected. Good location, 5 km from the motorway, close to hiking trails. We knew there was a supermarket 8 km away, so we had provided. Beautiful surroundings: good base for mountain biking, cycling. We also visited the museum December 44 followed by the walk of the Venne in Stoumont. Very friendly and helpful owner, very flexible with arrival time. Fast and correct handling of deposit and final cleaning.

Electric cooking is ok, fry a nice extra but unfortunately there was no hidden knife. Oh, and can not find serving dishes ... Very friendly reception, delayed by traffic, was no problem. The house was very clean, with spacious rooms and a kitchen with all the trimmings. The bbq, trampoline and ping pong table were a great success. fantastic hiking, climbing (carrienta.com) and kayaking in the area. We had a very nice dinner at the restaurant around the corner.

In the summer of 2022 we stayed 1 week in this house with our 5 children, including 1 baby. Nice location, fairly quiet, but on a highway. Large supermarket is not nearby. Here are some tops and tips in a row ;)Tops: - Upstairs is practically laid out, good beds, nice bathroom. - Fine, large dining tables. Both in and outside. - There is WiFi (code ad on the back of the router under the TV) - Children can play on the lawn, there is a nice table tennis table. - Lovely balcony! Tips: - Check/replace coffee machine, the coffee was not hot - Check the dishwasher, it did not wash properly - Although it was stated that kitchen linen was present, there were only tea towels. - Many toys were dirty, broken or incomplete - The balcony was not safe for a crawling toddler, a gate has yet to be placed - Toilet in the basement, and the kitchen cupboards were not clean. House could be cleaner! - Place some fly screens here and there. All in all, the price-quality ratio is good, and we can look back on a great week in Chevron.

We had planned a week of rest in a beautiful environment. We have certainly succeeded in this Belgian house. Upon arrival we were given a tour of the house where the owner did his best to complement my French school books with his poor English. Because of this we understood each other perfectly. It happened to us more and more that people in Walonie less stubbornly stick to the French language than 10 years ago, so that is an additional advantage. The large amount of kitchen equipment and (very clean) kitchen service in the house stood there were 60 food plates stacked in the cupboards. Furthermore everything needed was present and worked fine. A family of 6 can enjoy themselves here. Wonderful to light the wood fire in the morning. There was sufficient dry wood available for this. The accommodation was therefore more than sufficient for our purpose. However, we have given the owner a improvement tip please replace the sofa in the living room and the mattress of the 2-bed. These have clearly been used for years in both potholes where a German tourist on the Scheveningen beach would be jealous. The environment is fantastic. That you are not the only one who enjoys this you notice especially on the Sunday then it seems half Belgian is pulling out. In addition to the many road bikes and mountain bikes, it is especially the tough motorcycles and sporting sports cars that whiz along your front yard with loud engine noise. It does have some ... if you like the TT. But the rest of the week it is considerably quieter. We have walked wonderfully. One of the signposted tourist walking routes passes the house. The 8 km long route is highly recommended. It is not really necessary to get directions, just follow the white / blue signs. In short, a great holiday spot in less than an hour from the Dutch border.

We had six of us rented the cottage. The house was clean and we got on arrival an extensive tour of the landlords, who were very nice. It's a big house, big enough for the six of us, with a huge garden, complete with trampoline and BBQ. Also in the basement a ping pong table available, just in case the weather is not so good and there are board games. In the cottage is a rack with all leaflets with ideas about what to do in the area and also hiking trails with it. We made walks from this map, the area is hilly with meadows and woods, so fine to wandelen.Ook lovely there is a few hundred meters from the house a nice restaurant, so cooking can be (the kitchen is well equipped ), but absolutely do not.

We have enjoyed a week with our two children (1 and 3). Lovely house, fully equipped, including washing machine and dishwasher. For children, a nice garden with a trampoline. Centrally located in the best part of the Ardennes, on up to half an hour from villages like Malmedy, Liege, Spa and Stavelot. We will definitely come to yours!

We were pleasantly welcomed by the owner and his wife, he explained everything (in French) in a cordial manner. It is a well-kept house with spacious rooms, good shower and toilet. It was good to heat, just turning down the heating failed us in the kitchen, including therefore fell heating costs higher than expected. It was in the basement a beautiful table tennis, which we used. The area is perfect for (dilated) walks the map of the area offered hereby any help. The weather was so bad, a nice weekend!

Great house. Good beds (a bit short and narrow). Many stuff present. I.t.t other reviews, just Dutch channels seen on tv.Rustige environment and large beautiful garden. Navigation does not give the right place. It is on the right side of the road, just before the road that you are sent up to the left. We were not the first ones to go wrong because we came back when we asked the road to a resident. No wifi, that is not really of this time.

Upon arrival we were received very friendly with an extensive tour. It is a beautiful and well maintained detached house with a very large (private) garden. The kitchen utensils were very extensive, possibility of burning the stove and campfire / bqq outside. The latter we have therefore done two evenings. The area is very beautiful, lots of nature and beautiful hiking trails. The nicest one I find is the route along the Ninglispo River. about 10 minutes drive from the cottage. http // ardennen.nl / ninglinspo-een-unique-walk-in-the-ardennen / Furthermore, we went to the town Spa for a day and we went to Forestia (http // forestia.be /) for a day. That is a very nice climbing park between the trees for all levels and an animal park where the animals live in semi freedom.In short, there is plenty to do in the neighborhood.Funny villages, beautiful nature and many different outdoor activities.Definitely the worth a visit!

We had a very nice stay, Everything was fine, It is a beautiful area for walking, highly recommended to check the various routes close to the house, The house itself is cozy and well equipped, There is as you can read in the description no WiFi and also little range for 4G, We were there in winter and found it quite cold, but the house heats up quickly, Especially with the cozy wood fire, Due to a previous review we were particularly economical with the heating , This cost us only 26 euros for 10 days,

I had been there a little earlier and that was not a problem. The cottage is in great condition, it's all a bit older but it all works fine and it was also neat and clean all. The surroundings are really beautiful. Many hiking trails in the area, although we specifically came to fish on the nearby river (within walking distance). There is also little in the village, besides vane pump with a small shop selling the first basic supplies. But in the area there is a lot to do, especially outdoor activities.

The owners of this house are very friendly, the house is neat, clean, large and has a beautiful and green view. There is a lot to do in the area, but also in the house everything is available. We had a great time here with our 1-year-old son. The only downside was that there was no hearing in the windows and there were therefore quite a lot of mosquitoes in the house.

We had a very pleasant stay at La cantonière. Everything is there in the house, even toys for the kids. Everything is clean and well kept. Our children (20maand and 4year) enjoyed it. And "evening by the fireplace: super cozy!

A great house with all necessary amenities inside and a great balcony / terrace outside, with a huge deep garden. Restaurant within walking distance. A great base for hiking and cycling. The owner is extremely friendly and helpful. Definitely a place to remember for next time.

Nice house but the heating costs of 90 Euro for almost three days around the freezing point were a bit on the high side. The central heating is really in need of maintenance, is leaking and the thermostat buttons are at 0 loeiheet.
