Een fijne plek, lieve mensen, nota bene, Amsterdammers ️ en een goede Wim Hof plek in het riviertje de Lienne, met name in de lente en winter uiteraard. Mijn man en zoon vonden de koudwaterduikjes heerlijk

Ideal combination of a livable spacious house with a nice wood stove and a clean, fresh house.

Very cozy, cozy house. Everything is there and it is very clean. Mieke is a very friendly hostess where you can go for everything. We will definitely go back!

Our recent holiday in this holiday home in the Belgian Ardennes fully met our expectations.
With our new puppy, we opted to stay in cooler temperatures instead of our traditional trip to Tuscany. Despite the simple, somewhat dated appearance, the house offered a warm and inviting atmosphere in which we immediately felt at ease. If you're looking for cutting-edge luxury, this probably isn't the right place for you. We really liked that we didn't have to worry about, for example, the dog's dirty paws!
The perfectly equipped kitchen was a pleasant surprise and we also really enjoyed the terrace on the first floor. You have sun all day here (when it shines) and you can enjoy a game of Rummikub or read a book.
Our puppy felt like he was in seventh heaven in the forest opposite the house and since we had quite a few unexpected rain showers, the washing machine and dryer were a really nice addition.
The hostess is a fantastic person and the contact is easy-going and privacy is respected. In short, a great stay in the Belgian Ardennes! Thank you!

Furniture of very poor quality. (difficult to spend 1 evening in 1 of these seats without back problems.) NO GARDEN Present as WELL described. At least not a garden as I would describe a garden... Best put on rubber boots to enter this swampy, piece of land on the other side of the street. Establishing that there is actually no garden, with a dog. Was a big downer during our stay.Verder well equipped house with correct reception and departure.

Mieke is a good hostess. She lives on site, but remains extremely discreet and respects absolute discretion. In addition, she is always available if there is anything. Perfect.
We always had the feeling of being very comfortable, not a single moment of interference from the hostess / host, very important!
The holiday home is very nice, not least because the house is well equipped with (personal) keys, everything you could need, and more, is provided. Not a cold holiday home with standardized facilities. Also very generous with extras, such as firewood provided to light a cozy fire, availability of bicycles, the lovely terrace, sorry, the terraces, coffee, tea, (dish) sinks, all present.
Also very nice, the personal film collection from which we were able to feast.
Very confidential and an absolute must as far as we are concerned!

The cottage contains everything to make it a nice, fun holiday. Well equipped kitchen, spacious bedrooms, good mattresses. Equipped with darts block, board games, DVDs, satellite TV, spacious showers. The region is breathtakingly beautiful, next to a stream and the Lienne. Nothing noticed of the floods. And most importantly, located next to a quiet road, from which you can very good location to visit the area.15 minutes drive to Plopsa Coo.

The cottage is slightly different than described. Couldn't read that the landlord lives next door, the house is not suitable for children under 4/5 years. Sun terrace has no fall protection, stairs to the master bedroom steps open. It would have been nice if the 5 bins were better marked for separating waste, that wasn't the case.

This house seems big but it is only about half because the owner lives in one part. We didn't know that. The house is old: old windows that are very dirty. The house was really dirty and smelly. Dirty glasses, dirt on the floor, cobwebs. The bins are really dirty and smelly. The bag of gft, for example, was just cut out from the previous people and was really dirty. Under the bag in the trash can is 2cm of dirty smelly water. Really dirty. The seats smell and have spots. The high chair is very dirty. This house is really not worth the price. We will never come here again.

Lots of nature in the area. Good for walking or mountain biking. Really everything in there. Even a washing machine with detergent and a dryer. Beds are made on arrival. There are towels, dressing gown, slippers, tea, coffee, ... Many opportunities to sit outside around the house. Friendly patrons.

It is a nice house with all the trimmings and is located in a beautiful area where you can walk great. Definitely recommended if you don't want to travel too far and the weather was also very cooperative.
