This villa in Malmedy was a fantastic getaway for our family! The plan was perfect, offering enough space for our group of nine. We particularly enjoyed the infrared sauna and the hot tub, which provided a relaxing end to our busy days of exploring the woods and surrounding towns. The cozy fireplace in the living room was a nice touch, especially during the cool evenings. The location is serene, but close enough to downtown for dining and shopping. Recommended for families looking for a comfortable retreat!

It was a nice weekend, a nice house tidy and fully equipped. But the additional costs are high. eg from Friday 1800 up to and including Monday 1000.And than 160 euro in additional costs .. that includes bed linen and 2 waste bags. see also previous review ..

Belvilla communicates insufficiently how to act on arrival. No one was present on arrival. Fortunately, the owner was very friendly, after a phone call from our side. Accommodation was good and especially very clean. Neatly cared for and furnished, with a great eye for detail. It was enjoyable to stay with 8 adults and a toddler and baby. Take a moment to swallow what still has to be paid to energy costs afterwards (more than € 250). The area is perfect for hiking and long / challenging bike rides. The supermarket nearby was easy to reach by bike (by car had to be overturned, because of a road closure).

After arrival, around 1600 clock, we contacted the owner by phone, who luckily also spoke English 😜. We received a code from him with which we had access to the house. We were able to install ourselves quietly and relaxed and around 1830 the owner came to give us an explanation and guided tour. He had already switched on the heating of the house and the Yakuzi earlier that day and noted the meter readings. The house is beautiful and is truly unique and the interior is luxurious and practical. The kitchen is well equipped and that came out well with 2 above average hobby cooks in our family (7 adults and a toddler (2).) The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious, well furnished and very clean and tidy. a brewery (Brasserie Le Bellevaux) and Plopsaland Coo (at the waterfalls) visited, both are recommended for a visit.In short, we had a wonderful family weekend in Villa Le Rendez Vous (Malmedy)!

The accommodation was excellent a very complete luxury home. The environment is lovely from the house it is good to walk to the village back is climbing. In the vicinity is much to do we have visited mountain biking, kayak, climbing park and slate mine. Messages do get with the car.

After a narrow and steep road which arrived at this magnificent villa. Arrivals we saw was how quickly and completely clean the villa. There really is nothing lacking in this villa anywhere radiates its warmth. As the weather turned, Saturday we walked in the snow, we could see the next few days to fully enjoy the large terrace and so partly due to the warm and sunny weather! Malmedy is a nice town with a downtown terraces. Traffic to the highway is often very busy but when you arrive there, there are beautiful and fun trips. A must for example to visit the waterfalls of Coo! When walking (climbing) in the Ardennes mountain (walking) shoes absolutely necessary. Overall we had a fantastic week in this beautiful villa and enjoyed the surroundings.

Large house with a nice entertainment room and a very large jacuzzi in the garden. The many bedrooms and bathrooms are also perfectly fine. Unfortunately, the jacuzzi cannot be used too late in the evening and the energy costs were also slightly higher than expected, but otherwise this is a perfect house to rent.

Let me start with the positive part: it is a very nice villa with all amenities! We were 4 couples for a weekend trip to Malmedy and Villa Rendez-vous had (almost) everything we needed: 4 spacious bedrooms, a nice living room, large dining table, nice seating areas in the garden and a very relaxed jacuzzi! The only downsides were the amount of sanitary facilities: only 2 bathrooms and only 2 toilets, both of which are not located on the same floor as the living area. Malmedy is a nice village in the Ardennes where you can do plenty of activities. TIP: take a walk along the mountain river of Beverce! TIP2: during this walk, stop at camping Du Moulin for a delicious lunch and extensive beer menu! Now the reason why I cannot recommend this villa: the owner! What an awful bag of hay that is. On arrival everything seemed fine. He gave an extensive tour and explains everything neatly. But when the contract was signed, things became less pleasant. Contrary to the Belvilla contract (€0.35 per kWh), the owner charged €0.50 per kWh of electricity. Understandable given current energy prices, but not as agreed. We also had to tap €800 (!) contact on the spot as a deposit. Pin or transfer was not an option. The next day, the owner suddenly showed up at the door in the evening. He came to take the meter readings because he thought we were leaving this evening. We reminded him of the fact that we would not leave until the next day. I can't say exactly what was wrong with him. But he was clearly confused and said he was “in a fiesta mood”. We agreed to call him an hour before departure the next day. Unfortunately, he never picked up and he also did not answer text and whatsapp. So we had to leave without checking the villa and the meter readings together. We kept calling and texting him, but to no avail. After 48 hours he sent a text

Comfortable, well appointed and maintained home. Well located for going on a walk and close to the center of Malmedy. The kitchen lacks a few utensils. The neighbors like their peace and little appreciate being disturbed by music outside after 10 p.m. Be patient to get your deposit if you don't meet the owner at the exit...

The house is beautiful and equipped with every comfort. Jacuzzi, whirlpool and sauna work perfectly. It is not at all safe for small children in the house. The stairs are open so the children can fall down the stairs. There is also nothing for the small children of toys or plates / spoons .. it is also difficult to reach the owner. Friendly welcome by the owner. He makes the necessary time for a proper introduction and explanation. Meticulous home yet with everything. Extensive kitchen inventory. You can easily see 9 people make elaborate meals. Everything is there. From small to large potteke cooking casseroles. Also crockery, cutlery and glasses, there is no shortage. From arrival we were charmed by this house! It is beautifully decorated and all conveniences. The relaxation area, jacuzzi, sauna were certainly a value. We (we stayed there with 6 adults three children between one and a half and five years have given us large and small fine amused. From the center of Malmedy, we made a walk (with kids) it was climbing, but super nice. The walk passed even past the house! Malmedy is a nice town ... Christmas spirit was definitely! The stay was top, we were warmly welcomed and the cottage was very clean. We have unwisely had time. Z 'n nine Tasty cooking in the large kitchen, relax in the Jacuzzi, sauna and hot tub. We talked with two families with children a wonderful week. The house is great, very attractive and complete. We enjoyed the Jacuzzi ('s) and sauna, and the children themselves entertained with the Wii and air hockey table. We were there during the week between Christmas and New Year, and the owner had made in the house christmas decorate ring which still gave it a extra atmosphere. environment is also very mooi.Vriendelijke owner.
