At the end of September, we spent a weekend in this house with a group of 20 adults. We really enjoyed it here. It was nice that each couple had their own bedroom and also a small bathroom. The ground floor was spacious with a swimming pool and various saunas, which we made good use of. There was a large dining table where we could all sit, and in the evenings, we mostly sat in the bar by the pool table. The house is outdated but tidy. We had problems with the heating in the living room; it was on and at a high temperature, and we couldn't turn it off. In the final settlement, we were compensated for this. Very nice! All in all, we had a pleasant stay.

Life-threatening stay – stay away if you love your family! What should have been a relaxing vacation turned into a chilling experience that we will not soon forget — and unfortunately not for the right reasons. This property is not only neglected, but also poses an acute danger to the health and safety of its guests. Parents: this is not a place for children. Or for anyone else. 1. Fire hazards and electrical risks: From day one, we encountered exposed, poorly laid wiring – right by the pool. One wrong step, one splash of water in the wrong place, and you have a life-threatening situation. The generator next to it hums ominously – like a ticking time bomb waiting for something to go wrong. That such a thing is allowed is downright irresponsible. 2. Pool: a trap for accidents The pool is an accident waiting to happen. The role covering is anything but safe — there is an opening where a child can easily disappear. The surrounding stones? Loose, uneven. It is a miracle that no serious injury has occurred. You let your child play outside here with a heavy heart, and that says enough. 3. Unpleasant, unhygienic, and neglected The condition of the house is distressing. Holes in walls, moldy shower curtains, hairs from previous visitors, sticky refrigerator doors, and mattresses full of stains and dust. You do not sleep here with a peaceful heart. You wonder when the last thorough cleaning took place — if it ever happened at all. 4. Hidden costs and shady practices Bathrooms, rooms, and toilets without locks? Privacy is apparently an unknown concept here. And then the electricity bill: €450 for three days, with solar panels on the roof? Completely illogical. As if that weren't enough, five euros are charged per garbage bag – for simple, cheap bags. This is no longer a misunderstanding. This is deception. 5. Intimidating departure – with threats The manager appeared on the last day as if she was deliberately seeking confrontation. She literally shouted us out of the house – in front of our children. As if that wasn't enough intimidation, she also brought a large dog, clearly meant to instill fear. Pure terror. Her behavior was not only unprofessional, it was outright frightening. Conclusion: What you risk here is not only a bad vacation, but possibly a dangerous situation for you and your family. We are still shocked. Do not be misled by beautiful photos or empty promises — this stay is a trap. We will never set foot here again, and hope that others are warned. Warning: avoid this place if you value safety, hygiene, and respect.

The bannister was extremely loose when we arrived and dangerous, especially with young children in our group, the timing of the lights was such that we were unable to complete a flight of stairs before they went off. Both of these aspects were attended to very quickly. One of the rooms was closed off to us as it had developed a leak. the area where the washing machine was housed also had a leak. My daughter cut her forehead on a broken shower head. there should be warnings about how extremely hot the water gets as my grandson was slightly scalded when he was in the shower. the garden was not maintained and we hardly spent any time out there as we found some dead mice. when we arrived there was no parking space for any of our cars as these had been taken up by neighbours and campers. Apart from the foregoing, there was certainly enough for us as a family to keep us occupied and more than sufficient cutlery/chinaware/glasses, etc.

The technician came back and got the boiler working again, but in the meantime an oil smell started to fill the relaxation room and the pool - also a strong smell came from the basement that started to fill the stairwell - black smoke came out of the chimney, which also caused an unpleasant smell on the street: and on Sunday morning everything was malfunctioning again - in other words our whole family has suffered 2 days of cold and can only wash with cold water - I therefore demand a substantial compensation to compensate for this fiasco . In addition, the bill of consumption shows 389 € for fuel oil: I certainly refuse to pay it, it cannot possibly be correct!

The house is spacious and complete and plenty of entertainment inside (and the kitchen very complete and pleasant), but in total very dated. Leaks after showering on the ground floor and first floor. After (early) arrival we had already requested in advance and that was no problem, we were welcomed and shown around by the big house. 7 set was perfect so many bedrooms each with separate bathroom were / toilet 2 floors no one suffered from one another and plenty of room. The house is great for groups and offers all possibilities to spend. Both together and separately a nice weekend Pool, infrared and Finnish sauna, jacuzzi, TV room, bar, portal vein, table football, terrace with BBQ, lawn with demurrage, large dining room with lounge area and a spacious kitchen - what more could you want? And a short walk to Malmedy by road or via the sportier height by challenging hiking / mountain bike trails make it a great place for sports to relax and unwind. We were a group of 21 people and 1 baby and had a fabulous time. The facilities (whirlpool, swimming-pool, table football, billard, dart, sauna) are great!! The kitchen is huge and has saucepans enough to cook for 20peoplle and more. Wifi worked, everything was clean. Since there are no direct neighbours, noise is not an issue. We simply had an AWESOME time!! Some smaller downsides for the cooking we had to bring everything from salt pepper over dishwasher tabs, coffee filters to towels (if not booked and paid extra for). there also was no toilet paper in any of the bathrooms. Since all consumption costs are extra (mazout, gas, water, bin bags !!!) it was difficult to calculate the budget for the week-end. Instead of relaxing it made me run behind people asking them to switch off their radiator when not in the room and sauna etc. I was told that one group managed to spend 1000 euros just on mazout for a week-end which would have exploded our budget. In the end it was an extra of 500 euros for everything, cleaning included. I wish there would be another solution on extra-costs.

This large and well maintained home is perfect for all types of groups. The location is ideal, just outside the town of Malmedy (over half an hour from Maestricht Maas). So close to the shops but also close to nature. The uniqueness of this house is the 'private bar'. Life-threatening stay – stay away if you love your family! What was supposed to be a relaxing vacation turned into a chilling experience that we will not soon forget — and unfortunately not for the right reasons. This property is not only neglected, but also poses an acute danger to the health and safety of its guests. Parents: this is not a place for children. Or for anyone else. 1. Fire hazards and electrical risks: From day one, we encountered exposed, poorly laid wiring – right next to the pool. The bannister was extremely loose when we arrived and dangerous, especially with young children in our group, the timing of the lights was such that we were unable to complete a flight of stairs before they went off. My daughter cut her forehead on a broken shower head. there should be warnings about how extremely hot the water gets as my grandson was slightly scalded when he was in the shower. the garden was not maintained and we hardly spent any time out there as we found some dead mice. when we arrived there was no parking space for any of our cars as these had been taken up by neighbours and campers. The location of the sauna and infrared is a very bad place, in the hallway and away from the pool and jacuzzi. For the rest, we had a great time during our stay. The bar, billiards and football are a big plus.

The property is in very poor condition, there is lack of maintenance. The word slum is a better term than holiday. The pool water was murky, bottom could not be seen. The same applies to the jacuzi. Sauna is not working properly. The whole interior is called. Smudgy The rent is in no way proportional to the money. If I were you I would stay benefit from the package and certainly drastically reduce the price if it does not go. Towards the owner I want to give it a thorough renovation definitely needed. We have been in this house with a group of friends in January. For us it was totally fine - good in the pool and has been the Jacuzzi, and further cozy at the bar a drink. It is remote - so ideal for those seeking peace, but not for people who are looking for cozy villages or similar

We had a very nice stay, plenty to do at home for all ages, lovely enclosed garden. Good beds, plenty of crockery. To find at home, unfortunately NO toilet roll which is quite annoying when you arrive after a long journey. The route was not difficult but by road two kilometers to the house we could not go and we had to detour 40 miles, it would have been nice to know this right away so that we could take. Proper route Electricity bill was not that bad, keep in mind if you book the house, because that is not standardized, and this is important with the pool and jacuzzi.

After (early) arrival we had already requested in advance and that was no problem, we were welcomed and shown around by the big house. 7 set was perfect so many bedrooms each with separate bathroom were / toilet 2 floors no one suffered from one another and plenty of room. The house is great for groups and offers all possibilities to spend. Both together and separately a nice weekend Pool, infrared and Finnish sauna, jacuzzi, TV room, bar, portal vein, table football, terrace with BBQ, lawn with demurrage, large dining room with lounge area and a spacious kitchen - what more could you want? And a short walk to Malmedy by road or via the sportier height by challenging hiking / mountain bike trails make it a great place for sports to relax and unwind. Count on about 150-200 euros usage costs (especially gas / heating pool / showers) no problem, but with a larger group, of course. We (7 represent between 35-45years) thought it was a great house, very spacious and yet "homey cozy". Highly recommended!

We were a group of 21 people and 1 baby and had a fabulous time. The facilities (whirlpool, swimming-pool, table football, billard, dart, sauna) are great!! The kitchen is huge and has saucepans enough to cook for 20peoplle and more. Wifi worked, everything was clean. Since there are no direct neighbours, noise is not an issue. We simply had an AWESOME time!! Some smaller downsides for the cooking we had to bring everything from salt pepper over dishwasher tabs, coffee filters to towels (if not booked and paid extra for). there also was no toilet paper in any of the bathrooms. Since all consumption costs are extra (mazout, gas, water, bin bags !!!) it was difficult to calculate the budget for the week-end. Instead of relaxing it made me run behind people asking them to switch off their radiator when not in the room and sauna etc. I was told that one group managed to spend 1000 euros just on mazout for a week-end which would have exploded our budget. In the end it was an extra of 500 euros for everything, cleaning included. I wish there would be another solution on extra-costs.

A beautiful spacious villa with many rooms. Billiards, foosball, darts and jacuzzi all at the bar are very good. The kitchen is perfect. There is only a fridge but by several coolers at the bar, you'll have more than enough ruimte.Alles is neat and tidy. However, it is somewhat outdated. Upon arrival smoke a shower upstairs on the second floor very dirty. We have the water long run and then it was gone. On Saturday night the power went out. You can not itself at the fuse box that is behind a door that is locked. The administrator must come to fix it. This lasted even.Als you want to order a keg of beer can go somewhere else to do this because the manager asking 150 euros for 50 liters. Elsewhere is much cheaper and more beneficial different crates. All in all, a nice house, easily accessible and lots of options!

Every year we go with a group of friends for a weekend in the Ardennes. This year it was already the 11th time. We enjoyed the house. Rarely has anyone so slept on comfortable beds already made were when we arrived. A cozy dining room, a nice bar and of course the huge jacuzi. Walks can instantly create and the setting is beautiful. Malmedy around the corner for groceries and possibly a visit. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful weekend at the house. We were 17 people including two children (8 and 10). Good rooms with great beds, only the bathroom was not great in any room, but you did have everything you need. All but one of the rooms had a toilet.De kitchen is superbly equipped with a mixer and 3 gourmet set, enough pots, pans and dishes. Among the dining outlets even for gourmetstellen.De bar is completely top, the pool table is very widely used. But the other fascilities as sauna, jacuzzi, table tennis and darts were very popular. And outside you can enjoy zitten.Op the ground is no toilet. For that you have to go to the basement, where separate ladies and gents toilets' s zijn.Klein disadvantage is that the house is on a main road, the rooms at the front them what you loads of traffic.

A very well furnished house, where everything is available. Above all, the kitchen and the entertainment is well stocked, rich. Although the house is already a bit older, but everything was very clean. Sauna and whirlpool are available, the latter probably is an energy eater, the one does not necessarily need. This large and well maintained home is perfect for all types of groups. The location is ideal, just outside the town of Malmedy (over half an hour from Maestricht Maas). So close to the shops but also close to nature. The uniqueness of this house is the 'private bar'. So you have your own bar complete with tap, bar stools, music equipment, glass, cooling, pool table and foosball. Adjacent to the cafe is a seating area with jacuzzi, allowing the group always can sit together. Wet and dry :) Everyone has access to a great room with clean bathroom and very comfortable beds. There is a large dining room and a full kitchen. Communication with the operator (and English-speaking daughter) went smoothly. Some weaknesses were a small leak (which was repaired very quickly) and defective sauna. Furthermore, the deposit and "fixed charges" a bit on the high side. But there is a chance that we will visit the house frequently.
