Warm welcome by the owner, who lives right next to the holiday home. This is very convenient if a small problem arises in the house. We enjoyed the beautiful location in the High Fens. Very fine holiday home with all the necessary comfort. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, which is ideal for a group of 15 people. The wellness area is very pleasant and comfortable. Upon arrival, we were reminded that it is important to respect the neighbors and keep the noise level down, especially after 10 PM. We find that very normal. There are many beautiful walks to take in the area. The RAVeL runs right next to the house, which is a big plus. In addition, there are also restaurants in the nearby village. We had an excellent family weekend and will gladly return. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

In honor of my 60th birthday, I have rented these gîtes for our beautiful blended family, 5 adult children with partners, of which 2 are pregnant ladies and 2 granddaughters aged 12 and 1 year, for a long weekend. Michel contacted us 1 week before arrival. Very nice because you can check what you do or do not need to bring. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed. Michel and his partner do not speak Dutch, but the phone translates everything. There is an interpreter present who speaks English and lives above the pool of the gîtes. Michel wonderfully meets the requirement that in a situation someone must be present at the gîtes within 2 minutes. We received an extensive tour and all measurements were taken. The gîtes were great for us. Everyone has their own room with a bathroom. A cozy decor, authentic gîtes. Many diverse spaces tastefully decorated. Everything you think you need is present. And yes, it is not a modern house but a very nice farmhouse in a very nice nature-rich environment. With a nice family brewery. In the house, there is something for everyone; a pool table, darts, foosball. Relaxing in the sauna and having fun in an indoor pool. Or lounging on the sofas in the sitting area. Or in the sun in the garden. And yes, you have to take into account a settlement for gas, oil, water, and electricity. But Michel also gives you good tips on how you can manage this yourself. And by paying attention to this, the bill was surprisingly manageable despite intensive use of the pool and sauna. I experienced many beautiful moments with my husband and our large family. A weekend together, quality time. I couldn't have asked for better. Thank you, Michel and Nadia and the caretaker. For me, it was a perfect weekend!

Tired after the trip, but relaxed thanks to the parking option right at the door. The indoor pool plus the outdoor grilling facilities provided pleasant leisure activities without effort or mess.

It was initially a very expensive experience. We had to pay more than €300 extra for electricity, heating oil, and water consumption, in addition to a high accommodation price (€1,981.00 for a weekend). The feeling of being a walking ATM machine dominates from the moment of arrival. Moreover, the house is incredibly unwelcoming. You feel like you are in a crappy youth hostel, where the silverfish jump away when you open a bedroom door. The central living area has more the allure of the local football canteen than a cozy, Ardennes living space. The constant smell of mold and dampness certainly does not invite one to linger comfortably inside. Let those Baobab scented candles be brought in (given the exorbitant prices requested, these could certainly be provided). Then it would be nice to have an aperitif outside, you would think? That is also not recommended on a hard picnic table, planted in a setting that seems to be inspired by a Northern French highway rest area. To top it off, the peace on Saturday morning was significantly disturbed because the owner found it necessary to have the trees trimmed (at 8 a.m.!), while there were no guests in the past or coming week. Please also note that the manager of the vacation home lives above the pool area, so you at least have the feeling of having no privacy. In short, we will never return to this vacation home and strongly advise against staying here.

Das Haus liegt zurückgesetzt mit Bäumen ringsumher in einer ruhigen Umgebung. Reinhardstein Castle ist leicht allein erreichbar ohne Verkehrsstress. Mit sieben Schlafzimmern gab es viel Privatsphäre und die alte Bauernhaus-Atmosphäre machte den Aufenthalt persönlich statt wie in einem großen Mietobjekt. The house is large and had enough space for 6 of us.

The premises were clean and well maintained. Unfortunately, the mattresses were very soft. Some of us couldn't sleep well on them or had back problems. We had to bring our own bedding or we could use it on site for €30.

The indoor swimming pool and sauna were great.

There were enough options to spend our time there and the nearest supermarket was about 7 minutes away by car.

Unfortunately, when we booked we didn't read that electricity and heating costs had to be paid additionally. So we had to pay over €400 for 4 days, which was offset against the deposit. During this time we were out and about a lot and were hardly in the house during the day. However, continuously heating the swimming pool alone costs a lot of money. Coffee is provided, but also costs extra (€2/2L). The disposal of garbage (€5/garbage bag) will also be billed additionally at a later date.

Unfortunately, we weren't able to grill outside or use the beautiful facilities as the outdoor lighting had been removed, probably to ensure that the neighborhood wasn't disturbed at a late hour.

It's a nice place to stay, but in my opinion you could make the additional costs more obvious from the start, like other places do, so there won't be any nasty surprises. If you are willing to accept these additional costs, the house in Remonval is recommended.

It was a spacious house, each bedroom had its own shower and toilet which is very convenient. Bed, mattress and blankets are certainly fine! The pool was in another room, but linked to the house. Which gave you a true "center parcs" feeling. There was a bar in the living room with play equipment. We had Netflix available, which is not a luxury these days. This was a fantastic stay for our group of 15 men: The living space was great: with the cozy bar, the seats, the pool table. The indoor pool with sauna was also a hit, and neatly preheated to 29 degrees. The kitchen and dining area, just like the rooms with only a separate bathroom, offered sufficient comfort. Finally, the friendly welcome and the service afterwards was also top notch, with a quick and correct settlement. Recommended!

Welcoming hosts. The exterior of the house is pleasant and well maintained. The interior is a little more dilapidated. We have been there with people with visual impairments and motor problems and this house is not really suitable for this type of handicap. Lots of small steps and a large spiral staircase. When we paid the whole amount the owner asks us for 1500 as own rasico but we have and insurance and all sorts is in order after 3 days he takes of the amount 444 euros as water and electricitit rn waste so why pay wine 3000 euros for 3 days if need 444 extra ?? for no reason this amount is always after recerverin we will never go with this company again because no recpect with everything

This cottage was perfect for a stay in bad weather for our holiday with the children and grandchildren. The pool was fine. It's just a pity that there is almost no garden where the grandchildren can romp. Because of the bushes there is also no view of the surrounding area.

Bad surprise also when the Sunday around 10h the shutter of the swimming pool remains stuck in the closed position and that we can not dispose of it any more.A small downside also for many broken switches, a bathroom door twisted impossible to close and two non usable toilets including that of the pool (which poses anyway problem) .I suppose, given the price asked for the cottage, that a compensation is provided for this type of inconvenience ...

Had a very nice weekend. Owners were very helpful and friendly. The house itself had everything not to have to go outside. Good beds, each bedroom has its own bathroom, bar, darts, kicker, pool table and a very nice indoor swimming pool with sauna. The only drawback is the relatively densely built street and the many warnings not to make any noise after 10 pm. But I would book this house again in no time!

We were welcomed by the manager. He made sure that the house was ready earlier for our arrival. Unfortunately the accommodation is not worthy of a 4 stars (lack of crockery, unstable billiard, defective darts, ...) The place corresponds to the photos but the building is not isolated at all. It was cold the first days time to warm up and the charge is more than salty almost € 700 for 3 days and 3 nights. Several people (adults) were sick from the WE and cold it was especially in the rooms ... The building is very dark, no light enough for the evening. The equipment of the dishes is very limited for a housing provided for 20 people.

Every year for New Year, we go on vacation for a week with our friends and children, in total 9 adults and 10 children, and this for several years - we can very well compare this house with those of previous years. First of all, we were very pleasantly welcomed in this house, but unfortunately it does not keep the promises of a 4-star house and for the asking price, we expected a much higher comfort. The good points are the heated pool, the nice lounge with the electronic darts, the pool table (more in very good condition), and the bar. Unfortunately, the finish and comfort are not worthy of a 4-star house rough OSB floors in the rooms, shower curtains and no cabins, spots that hang directly from the ceiling, mattresses worn in some rooms, mold in some bathrooms, doors that slam unpleasantly throughout the house, ... In addition, a room on the ground floor is so exposed to noise and vibrations of the boiler (just below) and cars (single glazing all near the road!) that it is unusable. The kitchen is too small for a house that can accommodate 20 people, even if its equipment is ok (large oven, 5 hotplates, 3 fridges, 2 freezers, 1 dishwasher). In addition, the fees for a week are much too high 1440 Euros for a week with bed linen and towels!

The arrival went smoothly and the lady who received us was very friendly and correct. The cottage was certainly to your liking, the pool clean and all the rooms neatly in orde.Een nice area for walking and not far from the beautiful Lac de Robertville.Enkele little comments there is not really a garden, the piece of garden that was there was closed because of a difficult neighbor. There is a nice outdoor terrace and large parking. The kitchen is very well equipped but the oven did not always work well (we think it is hot air). The energy costs were indeed, as we read in previous reviews, very high. For a midweek in the summer with 18 people we paid 330 euros (gas, water, fuel oil (120 euros!) And electricity). The bathrooms are also very small but it is a luxury that every room has one. We have a super nice stay behind us in a beautiful house (with here and there some minor traces of use). The pool was very refreshing with the warm weather! The separate bar with refrigerator is handy. We also used the sauna once and it works very well.
