We had a fantastic family getaway in this charming cabin! The spacious layout was perfect for our group of 12 people, and the children loved swimming in the large pool. The sauna was a nice touch, especially after a long day of hiking in the nearby High Fens. We even took a scenic bike ride to Reinhardstein Castle, which was just a few minutes' drive away. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy to prepare meals, and we enjoyed outdoor dinners on the terrace. We had a great time in the cottage! The location is serene, perfect for long walks and exploring nearby hiking trails. The billiard table was a nice addition for our evenings. The only downside was that we wished we could have stayed longer!

Clean and cozy, this holiday home exceeded our expectations. It was well equipped and had a welcoming atmosphere. We enjoyed the hot tub after long days exploring the nearby towns of Malmedy and Stavelot. A great choice for families!

During our stay in the house we encountered a number of problems that affected our experience.
1. Swimming pool:
• The sliding door to the pool was very heavy and difficult to open and close. This made it inconvenient to use.
• Before booking, I contacted Belvilla via chat and specifically asked if the pool was heated. The answer was yes, but unfortunately this turned out not to be the case. The water was ice cold.
• In addition, the chlorine concentration in the pool was so high that our eyes burned and became very red.
2. Hygiene:
• After using the jacuzzi we all suffered from folliculitis, an infection that, according to our doctor, was caused by insufficiently disinfected water in the pool or jacuzzi. This was very annoying and caused discomfort during our stay.
3. Facilities:
• Upon arrival, there were no basic supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap or detergent. This was surprising, because in comparable houses such household products are usually available.

I hope these points are brought to the attention of the caretaker so that they can be improved in the future.

A very nice large property with a pool house separate from the main house. The house was clean and tidy. The kitchen equipment, which in my opinion was newly installed, was very good. Only the number and selection of glasses for everyday use was a bit poor. The house with the adjoining terrace and garden is bright and friendly and very nicely cut. Unfortunately, there is no direct transition between the main house and the neighboring house, to the playroom and two other bedrooms. Small defects, such as wobbly chairs, stiff pool front door or similar indicate that the house is inhabited. You can see that the landlord is trying to keep everything in order (see new kitchen). I had concerns about the language barrier, since the landlord only speaks French and unfortunately I can only manage a greeting. But it was very relaxed and even a bit funny at times. With gestures, google and point everything went smoothly. The landlord responded very quickly to inquiries via WhatsApp. I cannot confirm the criticism that the landlord was unfriendly. Anyone who wants a new, perfect house in glossy foil that one does not dare to live in should look for another property. I can only recommend the house and the surrounding area to everyone else.

It was a very disappointing stay this year. The house is outdated, was far from clean (cobwebs, insects beaten to death on the lighting, loose baseboards, etc). The pool water was way too cold for the kids despite the warm temperatures, there was way too much chlorine in the jacuzzi, which made it sting in the eyes, the fuse of the sauna was constantly out so we couldn't use it either .. in short .. a sad thing for the large amount of money we paid. The only positive was the beautiful area.

No sauna (not functional) as expected, we had chosen this accommodation specifically for the sauna. The pool was not heated as advertised. The water was maximum 19 degrees I would say. The amount of chlorine seemed too high to us because as soon as we entered the water, our eyes stung very strongly. Also the children had irritations everywhere after the swimming pool, suddenly they did not want to go there anymore. The bubble bath was not maintained because as soon as we started it, there was quite a strong smell of sewer throughout the ground floor. Otherwise the jacuzzi was good, the place quiet and good secured

The house was spacious enough and too much to do with swimming pool, sauna, whirlpool, a lovely spacious garden and a game room at the guest house on the upper floor.
