We had a great time at La Ferme d'Amel! The cabin was clean and had enough space for everyone. The infrared sauna was a nice addition, really helped us relax after a long day of exploring. The kids enjoyed the playground and we spent quality time by the fireplace. The location was also perfect, quiet but close enough to dine and grab some drinks. Would definitely come back!

At first the stay made a nice and good impression. Despite the fairly high cleaning costs, room 109 was not clean and photos of this were shown to the owner. The shower water for this room was not hot for these 3 days, despite the high energy costs, gas, water, and electricity (bill afterwards) for these 3 days (after 2 minutes a cold jet). There was also a dominant sewage smell in the bathroom of room 109. Together these are 3 points for 1 room. We indicated these points to the owner on departure. Friendly welcome, lovely home with something for everyone. There were 5 couples of all ages and children from small to large, and yet there was something for everyone. Sports and games facilities inside and outside, nice garden with several seating areas and ample furniture. Ideal for wheelchair users, accessibility and equipment. Luxury with a capital letter. Sauna, steam room, every room en suite. Good mattresses and pillows. Kitchen equipped to large groups. This house is big enough for 25 people to receive but not so large that it is uncomfortable. Very cozy and warmly decorated. Location is very quiet and far from the tourist crowds but there are shops, a few kilometers. No discernible negative details.

The house reflected the expectations; however when we arrived it was so cold that it took one full day to heat it up, so we suggest to ask the owner to pre-heat it to avoid a very unconfortable half of the stay. Everything else great and the owner very kind and helpful.

We have the weekend of 12 t / m 15 dec.2008 our 25th wedding anniversary celebrated in this villa. It was in one word fantastic. All bedrooms were equipped with a bathroom, the house has a fresh decor, warm decor, many decorations (the owner is a creative lady). The dining room we were able to transform into a beautiful, cozy dancefloor. The owner made us to start well familiarized and useful tips on the heater to disappointment afterwards with the utility bills to avoid (total vloeropp. Has 600 m2!). There are still several additional costs not dr bulletin. Think of firewood (? 6 per serving), waste (? 2.50 per bag). Eventually our total additional costs on? 400. Good location and excellent facilities over. In that respect an absolute must. The peace and the open nature around it are a boon for busy people who need to get out there. We were there with z "n sixes and then the house is too big, it will fit easily in 18-24! A downside for us was that the manager speaks German and in French-speaking Belgium we expected to stay! I had this midweek organized for my brother and sister, both of which are due to a muscle in a wheelchair. The spacious house was perfect for a nice midweek for my brother and sister. The owner was very friendly and obliging. There is an elevator in the house, but he refused quite often. The owner was upset here enormously and would inform the supplier asap bijhalen. We have recently returned from Ferme d 'made Amel use for a friends weekend.'s Spacious and very well equipped house is excellent like us! With 17 adults had all set their own bedroom with fine beds and good sanitation. The large kitchen with good equipment and ample crockery, cutlery, pans, etc. suited us very well. Best equipped cottage in the countryside with a nice landlord, who shows understanding even after a party. We have a great weekend. Never been "a perfect house made in Belvilla.Alles to perfection and finished cared!
