Vriendelijke ontvangst in het Duits. Bij aankomst waren we meteen onder de indruk van het grote vakantiehuis met een ruime parking voor de 3 auto's. Enthousiast werden we rondgeleid in het vakantiehuis en werd de nodige uitleg gegeven. Na ontvangst werd er ons gratis een fles rode wijn en wat snoep aangeboden. Dat viel goed in de smaak! We waren aangenaam verrast door dit ruime vakantiehuis. Alle nodige voorzieningen waren aanwezig, maar deze waren eerder oubollig (oude tv, bestek...), maar dit had ook weer zijn charmes. Een ruim terras bood ons de mogelijkheid om van het mooie weer te genieten. Ook hier waren alle voorzieningen aanwezig (tuintafel, stoelen, ligstoelen, overdekt terras...) De badkamers waren mooi verzorgd en goed uitgerust, maar waren voor ons net te klein om samen met een baby te kunnen wassen. Het vakantiehuis is gelegen in een rustig dorpje met nabij het huisje wel een café. Verder is er in de nabije omgeving weinig te vinden. Na ongeveer een half uurtje rijden met de auto kom je in meer commerciële/toeristische dorpjes terecht waar je de drukte kan opzoeken. Naast enkele details was dit een werkelijk topverblijf. Ieder van ons heeft er van genoten en we overwegen hierdoor ook om van dit vakantiehuisje een jaarlijkse traditie te maken!

We komen al voor meer dan 20 jaar naar het plaatsje Shoppen en vinden het er altijd heel leuk, zeker ook omdat we elke keer gaan kegelen in het café Lambertz, een 50 meter gelegen van het huurhuis. We werden vriendelijk onthaalt door de verhuurster. Het huis rook wel wat naar stookolie ( pas in gedaan ? ). De haard was aan en er stond een fles wijn op tafel. We waren met acht en er waren drie slaapkamers, dus moesten twee koppels samen op de kamer. Deze was groot en we wisten het vooraf. Heel proper huis en ook wel aangenaam. Het meubilair was wel wat verouderd. Er waren twee badkamer en dat is prima. Er lag veel info, maar wel in een te kleine map zodat het wat moeilijk was om een overzicht te krijgen. We konden het huis huren voor een vrij goede prijs, maar al de extra kosten samen bedroeg wel ongeveer 160 euro samen, ( huur bedlinnen, verwarming, .... ) bovenop de waarborg van 200 euro die we terug hopen te krijgen.

Three nights here and zero complaints. The house was just a short walk from the town center, which was handy for quick grocery runs. Loved the fenced garden with the barbecue setup, we spent evenings grilling and chatting around the fire pit. Plenty of space for our group to relax after hiking in the nearby forest.

I would tell anyone passing through to stop here. The living/dining area felt spacious and perfect for gatherings after a day outdoors. Kids had a blast on the play equipment while we relaxed by the fireplace at night, creating cozy evenings together. Overall, comfy vibes all around.

Spacious accommodation. Furniture somewhat dated but no different from other German holiday homes we have visited before. Kitchen quite complete. Plastic cutlery is missing for children. There are two plates and two plastic cups. Very nice garden, spacious. What a pity that it is not directly adjacent to the house. You first have to go through a few meters of the garden of the owner who owns the house next door. Sandbox could use some new sand. Swing and trampoline were popular. There is a pretty big playground around the corner. Nice that extra fridge and washing machine can be used! The "play basement" isn't much, but we didn't miss it either. Dining table is spacious, seating areas in the living room are fine. Good oven, good (induction) stove. Also a magnetron. Owner is easy to understand in Dutch, and friendly. A friends weekend with small children were very pleasant to us by a welcoming log fires, a bottle of wine and sweets. We really enjoyed our holiday in this house. There was enough toys for our daughter, both inside and outside. We had brought a backpack with toys, but that has not been open throughout the holiday. What I find detrimental (but my husband thought it was not a problem) is that the door can not be locked from the inside. Beautiful garden with lots of toys for the children. What we found was less fun that you first had to go through their garden to go to your own garden. The terrace is not next to the house as the photo 's. Wifi was often not had good and the owners are also two evenings (thunderstorm), the flow dropped from internet and TV without warning. Together with our two children (2.5 years and 9 months) we first went to the Ardennes. We were welcomed by the owner and after a tour of the house and the garden turned out that everything was in place for a family with young children. Inside was a toy, three (!) We went there with the two children, 9 months and 3 years, and grandparents. We booked from Monday evening to Friday morning. Tuesday we made in Heppenthal (or something) a walk tailored to the children (municipality of Amel). On Wednesday we went to the zoo just pulled over the border in Hellenthal,. With four adults and two small children we had a lovely holiday here. The garden has space and play areas for children. Overlooking a meadow where deer were seen regularly. Each village in the neighborhood has a playground and supermarkets are a 10 minute drive. Coo Plopsa is great for kids, close to Luxembourg. The house is nicely like the interior, better than what we are used in French-speaking Wallonia.

We komen al voor meer dan 20 jaar naar het plaatsje Shoppen en vinden het er altijd heel leuk, zeker ook omdat we elke keer gaan kegelen in het café Lambertz, een 50 meter gelegen van het huurhuis. We werden vriendelijk onthaalt door de verhuurster. Het huis rook wel wat naar stookolie ( pas in gedaan ? ). De haard was aan en er stond een fles wijn op tafel. We waren met acht en er waren drie slaapkamers, dus moesten twee koppels samen op de kamer. Deze was groot en we wisten het vooraf. Heel proper huis en ook wel aangenaam. Het meubilair was wel wat verouderd. Er waren twee badkamer en dat is prima. Er lag veel info, maar wel in een te kleine map zodat het wat moeilijk was om een overzicht te krijgen. We konden het huis huren voor een vrij goede prijs, maar al de extra kosten samen bedroeg wel ongeveer 160 euro samen, ( huur bedlinnen, verwarming, .... ) bovenop de waarborg van 200 euro die we terug hopen te krijgen.

Vriendelijke ontvangst in het Duits. Bij aankomst waren we meteen onder de indruk van het grote vakantiehuis met een ruime parking voor de 3 auto's. Enthousiast werden we rondgeleid in het vakantiehuis en werd de nodige uitleg gegeven. Na ontvangst werd er ons gratis een fles rode wijn en wat snoep aangeboden. Dat viel goed in de smaak! We waren aangenaam verrast door dit ruime vakantiehuis. Alle nodige voorzieningen waren aanwezig, maar deze waren eerder oubollig (oude tv, bestek...), maar dit had ook weer zijn charmes. Een ruim terras bood ons de mogelijkheid om van het mooie weer te genieten. Ook hier waren alle voorzieningen aanwezig (tuintafel, stoelen, ligstoelen, overdekt terras...) De badkamers waren mooi verzorgd en goed uitgerust, maar waren voor ons net te klein om samen met een baby te kunnen wassen. Het vakantiehuis is gelegen in een rustig dorpje met nabij het huisje wel een café. Verder is er in de nabije omgeving weinig te vinden. Na ongeveer een half uurtje rijden met de auto kom je in meer commerciële/toeristische dorpjes terecht waar je de drukte kan opzoeken. Naast enkele details was dit een werkelijk topverblijf. Ieder van ons heeft er van genoten en we overwegen hierdoor ook om van dit vakantiehuisje een jaarlijkse traditie te maken!

Nice big house with 3 bedrooms with 8 sleeping places. 2x double bed and 4x single bed. In addition, two cots / camping bed. Ideal for family with children. Also a playground at the house (out of sight of the house), with private terrace and covered sandpit and play house with many toys and baby swing. on the other side of the house a public playground with slide and seesaw. Environment is good for walking and cycling. Most walks are short by auto.Huis itself is dated, see photos. But that makes it cozy and pleasantly old-fashioned. With a fireplace and wood it can be heated quickly. 2 refrigerators, washing machine, dishwasher. All comforts. Also a children's billiards in the basement. Basement is also useful for dry storage of your bicycles (via stairs). Small children have their own play chairs and table. And there are two high chairs for dining / eating. Hostess very friendly and helpful.

We were very kindly received by the owner. The house is in the middle of a forest and meadow area, no traffic or urban noise and has a large garden with BBQ, covered terrace and playground for children (trampoline, swing, ...). The pictures of the house perfectly reflect what the house looks like inside, you will not be surprised, everything is provided in the kitchen, including a dishwasher, 2 fridges (1 in the cellar). to mountain biking, cycling, motorbike or walking. Definitely recommended if you want to get away from it, in the middle of nature.1 point for attention there is very little mobile phone range in the neighborhood, so 3g / 4g is currently not well covered. Ideal for when you really want to get away from it)

With four adults and two small children we had a lovely holiday here. The garden has space and play areas for children. Overlooking a meadow where deer were seen regularly. Each village in the neighborhood has a playground and supermarkets are a 10 minute drive. Coo Plopsa is great for kids, close to Luxembourg. The house is nicely like the interior, better than what we are used in French-speaking Wallonia.

The house is well located. Quiet. Well equipped. Nothing was missing and the owners are discreet and friendly. Only downside, the garden is not attached to the house. First you have to cross the owners' garden. But we enjoyed it as well.

We used the cottage as a quiet cozy home after our activities. We did the Christmas market in Eupen and Africa and Afrikan Groove Night. Fantastic event for young and old.The weather did not bring us so much walking was not there but the area is very nice.The house was decorated for Christmas, nice surprise!

Spacious accommodation. Furniture somewhat dated but no different from other German holiday homes we have visited before. Kitchen quite complete. Plastic cutlery is missing for children. There are two plates and two plastic cups. Very nice garden, spacious. What a pity that it is not directly adjacent to the house. You first have to go through a few meters of the garden of the owner who owns the house next door. Sandbox could use some new sand. Swing and trampoline were popular. There is a pretty big playground around the corner. Nice that extra fridge and washing machine can be used! The "play basement" isn't much, but we didn't miss it either. Dining table is spacious, seating areas in the living room are fine. Good oven, good (induction) stove. Also a magnetron. Owner is easy to understand in Dutch, and friendly. All in all, we had a good time.

After a 4 hour trip, we were warmly welcomed by the owner of the house. There was a bottle of wine ready and sweets for the kids. After a tour of the big house, our vacation could begin. The garden is really amazing! The surroundings are also very beautiful. We have made many trips including Plopsa Coo, Malmedy, Verviers, Railbike, Lake of Butgenbach, Liège, La Roche and Ardennes.

We were Arriving on Friday welcomed into the cozy preheated house because the wood fire had been lit by the hostess. A bottle of wine as a welcome gift on the table. The house is very child-friendly (high chair and cot, toys, games and a play barn with bikes). Located just 20m from a beautiful playground to kerk.De area is quiet and rural, but not in the immediate vicinity of a forest. In the morning we went to walk on and in the afternoons we first visited once the model trains museum Eurotecnica than once Reinhard Stein and our last afternoon Monschau.

We went there with the two children, 9 months and 3 years, and grandparents. We booked from Monday evening to Friday morning. Tuesday we made in Heppenthal (or something) a walk tailored to the children (municipality of Amel). On Wednesday we went to the zoo just pulled over the border in Hellenthal,. Animals have plenty of space, there is a train and a bird show. That afternoon we had to pull Monschau but we are rather on the lazy side. Thursday walked in the forest near the beer museum in St Vith (Roth) and then enjoyed the beautiful playground in St Vith. In the evening, with the oldest still swimming in the pool of St Vith. We are even going romantic dinner with his two Waismes & quotla table du terroir ". There was wild on the menu. The owner lives right next to the building itself and the two buildings together form a closed farm. The owner is also nanny and mother of two teenage Jonges so that all domain is peppered with fine toys in every corner, inside and outside and in the barn (where you are welcome to mess with the toys).

We (a family with two small children) were ready for a week's holiday and we have "Am weissen Hirsch" to enjoy nature and tranquility in the village of Spades. Together with our two children (2.5 years and 9 months) we first went to the Ardennes. We were welcomed by the owner and after a tour of the house and the garden turned out that everything was in place for a family with young children. Inside was a toy, three (!) Highchairs, cots, changing mat, socket protectors, potty, Toilet trainer and himself a hand blender to make baby food did not fail. Outside it was great to relax under the trees. For the oldest were a trampoline, playhouse, sandpit, swing, and of course the chickens! In the garage several bikes were / carts that may also be used. The garden is fully enclosed, which is useful with children playing. We made a trip to the zoo in Hellenthal (beautiful raptor show, super playground and you are at some animals stay in). From the "Beer Museum" (more than eatery museum), we have created a 2.5 km long trek along the nature trail. Just right to keep our oldest full. We had a great week!

We stayed two weeks in the house. The house is spacious and is centrally located for various outings. What is a missed opportunity is that the living compared to the rest of the house is very dated. Fresh colors, new furniture and some cozier lighting would finish the house. The bedroom and bathroom are in fact top (good beds!). The house has a lovely large, secluded gardens. Ideal for children playing. The rear garden offers enough space for privacy. Privacy is at the cottage itself less, because the windows of the owners directly facing the entrance of the house. Fortunately, the estimation of people who are very helpful and welcoming. The wifi is not satisfactory. The reception is moderate and is not on the second half of the night. The owners go out there to do what they have said. With the above points taken into consideration, we can highly recommend the house further.

We had a nice holiday in the house. We were 5 adults and 2 small children. The hostess was very welcoming and helpful. The cottage was very clean and tidy. Beautiful garden with lots of toys for the children. What we found was less fun that you first had to go through their garden to go to your own garden. The terrace is not next to the house as the photo 's. Wifi was often not had good and the owners are also two evenings (thunderstorm), the flow dropped from internet and TV without warning. It was also in the house itself lots of toys for the kids. The bathrooms are rather small and no bathtub.

We really enjoyed our holiday in this house. There was enough toys for our daughter, both inside and outside. We had brought a backpack with toys, but that has not been open throughout the holiday. I think it's a very big advantage that there was closet space in the house. Both in the bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen there was more closet space than I'm used to from other cottages, very fine! What I find detrimental (but my husband thought it was not a problem) is that the door can not be locked from the inside. Now our daughter is not a runaway, but I can imagine that it is more difficult for others. And I liked the smell of the fireplace in the living room very prevalent, even if we did not use him. The charm of the fireplace was, in our way because the extractor during initial heating needs, which made us a bit too much noise. But despite those things we would definitely go again!

A friends weekend with small children were very pleasant to us by a welcoming log fires, a bottle of wine and sweets. We used the cottage as a quiet cozy home after our activities. We did the Christmas market in Eupen and Africa and Afrikan Groove Night. Fantastic event for young and old.The weather did not bring us so much walking was not there but the area is very nice.The house was decorated for Christmas, nice surprise!

We (a family with two small children) were ready for a week's holiday and we have "Am weissen Hirsch" to enjoy nature and tranquility in the village of Spades. Set in the german speaking part of the Ardennes, we really enjoyed the peaceful setting of the property. We were warmly welcomed by the owners. The property had everything our young family needed with our children particularly enjoying the the cubby house, trampoline, large yard and feeding the chickens. Highly recommend

Check properly regulated. Landlords live next holiday. House itself is stunning. More than enough space. Large bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Garden is beautiful. Also decorated perfect for a family with young children (1 and 3 years old). Setting is lovely. German is spoken in this part of Belgium.

We were very kindly received by the owner. The house is in the middle of a forest and meadow area, no traffic or urban noise and has a large garden with BBQ, covered terrace and playground for children (trampoline, swing, ...). The pictures of the house perfectly reflect what the house looks like inside, you will not be surprised, everything is provided in the kitchen, including a dishwasher, 2 fridges (1 in the cellar). to mountain biking, cycling, motorbike or walking. We went there with the two children, 9 months and 3 years, and grandparents. We booked from Monday evening to Friday morning. Tuesday we made in Heppenthal (or something) a walk tailored to the children (municipality of Amel). On Wednesday we went to the zoo just pulled over the border in Hellenthal,. Animals have plenty of space, there is a train and a bird show. That afternoon we had to pull Monschau but we are rather on the lazy side. Thursday walked in the forest near the beer museum in St Vith (Roth) and then enjoyed the beautiful playground in St Vith. In the evening, with the oldest still swimming in the pool of St Vith. We are even going romantic dinner with his two Waismes & quotla table du terroir ". There was wild on the menu. The owner lives right next to the building itself and the two buildings together form a closed farm. The owner is also nanny and mother of two teenage Jonges so that all domain is peppered with fine toys in every corner, inside and outside and in the barn (where you are welcome to mess with the toys).

Good and friendly reception. Spacious house with a very nice garden, perfect for families with (young) children. Nice playground 1 minute walk. Plenty to do in the area, including a walk at Lake Butgenbach, where you can also swim. Remouchamps caves, castle at Burg Reuland. Beds good. Wifi in the house. Our children, ages 3.5 and 6.5, had a great time, certainly worth repeating.

Spacious accommodation. Furniture somewhat dated but no different from other German holiday homes we have visited before. Kitchen quite complete. Plastic cutlery is missing for children. There are two plates and two plastic cups. Very nice garden, spacious. What a pity that it is not directly adjacent to the house. You first have to go through a few meters of the garden of the owner who owns the house next door. Sandbox could use some new sand. Swing and trampoline were popular. There is a pretty big playground around the corner. Nice that extra fridge and washing machine can be used! The "play basement" isn't much, but we didn't miss it either. Dining table is spacious, seating areas in the living room are fine. Good oven, good (induction) stove. Also a magnetron. Owner is easy to understand in Dutch, and friendly. All in all, we had a good time.

The house sits at the home of the residents fixed while it was not really clear in advance. If I had known that I had probably chosen for more privacy. We had a very nice anyway.

Nice big house with 3 bedrooms with 8 sleeping places. 2x double bed and 4x single bed. In addition, two cots / camping bed. Ideal for family with children. Also a playground at the house (out of sight of the house), with private terrace and covered sandpit and play house with many toys and baby swing. on the other side of the house a public playground with slide and seesaw. Environment is good for walking and cycling. Most walks are short by auto.Huis itself is dated, see photos. But that makes it cozy and pleasantly old-fashioned. With a fireplace and wood it can be heated quickly. 2 refrigerators, washing machine, dishwasher. All comforts. Also a children's billiards in the basement. Basement is also useful for dry storage of your bicycles (via stairs). Small children have their own play chairs and table. And there are two high chairs for dining / eating. We have a nice holiday, also by the friendliness of the family, the house vehuren. It is spacious and great for us to really celebrate. There can be so easily 8 persons in the sleeping quarters and are geared.

With four adults and two small children we had a lovely holiday here. The garden has space and play areas for children. Overlooking a meadow where deer were seen regularly. Each village in the neighborhood has a playground and supermarkets are a 10 minute drive. Coo Plopsa is great for kids, close to Luxembourg. The house is nicely like the interior, better than what we are used in French-speaking Wallonia.

The house is well located. Quiet. Well equipped. Nothing was missing and the owners are discreet and friendly. Only downside, the garden is not attached to the house. First you have to cross the owners' garden. But we enjoyed it as well.

After a 4 hour trip, we were warmly welcomed by the owner of the house. There was a bottle of wine ready and sweets for the kids. After a tour of the big house, our vacation could begin. The garden is really amazing! The surroundings are also very beautiful. We have made many trips including Plopsa Coo, Malmedy, Verviers, Railbike, Lake of Butgenbach, Liège, La Roche and Ardennes.

We are pleased with the holiday. Everything was good, comfortable house, beautiful surroundings and nice people hiuseigenaren. With two babies, we were looking for some peace and happy was enough. Also for our 4 year old daughter was enough to keep her occupied: the trampoline, the house and of course Blackie the cat :)
