A very warm welcome from the lady with the key. And there were local products ready. BUT the house is not worth the high rent 695 + 40 cleaning + 30 electricity and oil 765 euros for a weekend! The house is dusty and the bath was dirty, hair in the hole. The bathroom has no hook for hanging the shower (showering in the bath, without shower curtain), the bath is broken and there are no hooks for towels. The light in the bathroom can only be switched on from one of the bedrooms. In the bedrooms only lace curtains, but no curtains, so wake up when it gets light. The fronts of the drawers in the kitchen fall off when you open them. The extractor hood is dirty and falls apart when you slide it on to put on. The furniture in the living room is old and gathered. The photos on the internet look much better than the reality. The location of the house and the surroundings are beautiful! But the price-quality ratio is excessive.

The operator was very friendly, we got some bikes deficit and allowed her a few bikes because Acorn Park near what is was closed and we could not cycling huren.Kortom a nice week.Fam Bart Maassluis.

Nice house, super quiet, not far from Wijnegem shopping center off and not far away from Antwerp. Fireplace doing super good. Kitchen is good and is the most modern conveniences. Beds are good, but the shower is not quite easy not to say pretty bad, bath where you have to shower without curtains or doors, and so it is blown down during a shower, (otherwise everything really mega wet) not really nice relext or so. Well good standing.

After a long time searching, we finally found the forest house. It is, especially from the outside, a super cute little house. We have really had time. The decor is a bit outdated, but still high quality. the kitchen is seeing all the necessities, even a dishwasher! central heating of the house works great, so the fireplace is not absolutely necessary (cozy, but it stinks). For the music lovers, it is recommended to take their own radio / CD player with you because the person in the house is very old. We went with 8 friends and we slept well, but for 10 people is difficult. It must then be made using the sofa beds in the room, so it might be smarter to take. We rented this house to be close to Antwerp lives there, our daughter who had just given birth to her 2nd child. But to our surprise the surrounding area was also wonderful with lots of cycling and wandelroutesHet house is very spacious and could come and stay with our children and grandchildren. We enjoyed the large terrace with beautiful weather we sat outside all day in bad weather, we had unfortunately also, we still looked wonderful on the trees around the house. The hostess is very friendly and helpful and we will definitely come terugkeren.Wat also very useful is that the bus to Antwerp, 5 minutes walk away.

The house offers plenty of space for a large family and is easily accessible by car and public transport via the N12. We (four adults and three children) thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Boshuis. It is a great property to stay. Spacious garden, so much freedom. Situated near Schilde. Beautiful place with great shops. In Wijnegem is a huge shopping mall with 240 shops. In short: boredom is not there.

Boshuis It was a great stay for the autumn. We had great fall weather to walk in the nearby woods and discover the cycling network. Bring bikes is really a must. The cottage has a beautiful new kitchen, even with cheese slicer. Unfortunately, the furnace was already broken. The space in the living room is very spacious with a large dining table. In the bedroom you can get a true tango, so groot.De bathroom is a little less, shower is a little too small to be able to take a shower in the bath. The old garage to the house, now pantry is great for cycling within the zetten.De hostess was very accommodating and arranged everything very smoothly.

Harst Ikke nice place. Really safe for children. Open fire has burned every night. Just a pity that the house fairly stale smell (especially upstairs in the bedrooms). Bathroom needs some adjustments, but otherwise fine. Lots of privacy and it was nice and warm inside. We had beautiful weather, lots of squirrels seen and enjoyed the peace.

We have experienced this as a great house. The living room is very spacious and the garden is amazing! We have a great spring break behind with seven people with the weather it has helped a lot and we could have breakfast on the terrace & bbq "and (bbq owner borrowed offers them immediately upon arrival). Owner is very friendly and her house is next to "t Boshuis" so if there is anything you can contact her. Highly recommended!

Had a very nice weekend (of course been nice weather). Indeed very friendly owner. Accommodation is very quietly located in forest with large terrace with furniture to enjoy. Owner even asked if we needed BBQ. Environment is also very wooded with nice bike trail. At 500 meters from the villa there leaves a trail of 30 or 44 km and it is possible to rent bicycles.

The weekend of January 8, 2010 with 6 adults Boshuis rented. Was a very nice house, weather is something other than a standard holiday! Very nice surroundings, nice and cozy house to the fireplace had. Sociable a day shopping in Antwerp (20 min by car) and Sunday in the lovely forest walk through the snow, within walking distance of the Boshuis. Only drawback is the bathroom, for the beautiful would be a separate shower and a little more light, but for those 10 minutes on weekends you spend in the bathroom was also not very much. Super nice and relaxing weekend with friends with each other without the kids!

The holiday is very successful. The owner was very friendly and welcoming and gave lovely tips on possible activities in the area. The spacious garden surrounding the house was also much appreciated especially with good weather. Itself we have been there much of the bus to eg. Antwerp, Bobbejaanland, Mechelen what was to do right by the bus stop near and reasonably cheap bus fares. Generally there are no crazy things happen to complain about.

The reception was extremely friendly and welcoming. Everything was well organized by the owner, there was a Christmas tree, there were games for the grandchildren, very nice. The house is large and some fantastic atmosphere is concerned, with a great fireplace, and everything is tasty retro colored and decorated. The area is nice, you walk a few hundred meters into the forest. There is a large supermarket nearby, everything to have a wonderful holiday, and that is what we have been twice over with our children and grandchildren. Small minus a shower in the bath, which is not for everyone.

(No "problems with neighbors") That was unfortunate. I had understood from the information on the internet that it was in the woods. A long walks was so close to some villages and Antwerp. It is a beautiful area. We had a great week. The eigenarese was very nice and helpful. We experienced an immediate trust between her and us. We were warmly received.

A very nice house in a wonderful neighborhood just steps away from Antwerp. Also nice villages nearby. Idiaal is the bus that regularly 3/4 hour drive to Antwerp, so no hassle with parking. The owner is friendly and helpful. The plumbing is a bit difficult but this is amply compensated by the atmosphere of the house and the spot on which it stands. Regards Ans Lanting

We were pleasantly surprised. Spacious cottage, warm welcome, beautiful wooded area. The cottage is neat and is not standard that we like. Our children are well looked after in the nearby forest. The tourist information gives you many tips. Cycle routes are well indicated.
