This homely chalet is situated in Nijlen, named as De Kannaert. Adjacent to the nature reserve Kesselse Heide. Located at a dead end dirt road so that you are really at ease and can enjoy the silence and nature and recharge yourselves in all simplicity during your stay. No loud noises or disturbance will be appreciated here.
The grocery store is 3 km away. Witness the streetscape and local culture, the town centre of Lier is 10 km away. You can visit the beautiful cultural town of Antwerp easily by car.
There is a furnished garden to enjoy meals in the sun, you can enjoy barbecuing chicken/fish in the evenings and relish them on the terrace. Kitchen is well-equipped to let you cook meals. Heating and air-conditioning will keep you at comfort. (Nodes network) Also for cycling (cycling nodes) the environment is ideal. Your dog can let off steam in the well-fenced, large garden, where he can take his course. The chalet has everything needed, beautiful salon with large modern TV, DVD player, wifi, games and some reading books. 1 large bedroom, good 2 bed, with large closet. The salon also has a sofa bed 2p. Central heating everywhere, shower room, spacious kitchen with dishwasher, large microwave oven ... You are not far from many restaurants and brasseries, cafes. (De Beemden, The Bath House, The White House, Slack Udder, Grandpa's eatery, t " Ven, De Boekt ...) In the village centers you will find all kinds of shops, Nijlen has a tourist point at the kerk.Lier is the nearest city and has a beautiful historic cozy center. The friendly owner has a butcher in Emblem the neighboring village, there you get as a tenant discount. Quiet place, only some chalets in the dead end street, but are very spacious apart and you have no problems at all. No privacy so much privacy.

House was very neat, smelled nice and fresh when we arrived (no dog odors), friendly host who came to meet us and gave us nice tips. The only downside was the hard mattress, but we were happy with that. The well-fenced garden was also a plus, our dog could sniff to his heart's content

The chalet is very secluded and spacious living space for 2 people and a dog and fully equipped. Our dog loved the large garden to play. In the area with the Kesselse heath and along the Nete we had a lovely walk. With the hiking network you can go in all directions and we had a wonderfully relaxing week in the fall. The city of Lier and Tongerlo Abbey and its surroundings are also definitely worth a visit.

I stayed in the house for a week with a friend, we were very kindly received by the owner for us a nice gift and candy for the dogs. When we arrived the radio was already on with nice music, burning candles and 2 bottles of Jupiler were brought. What a service from the owner. The chalet was beautiful, spacious and the plot was completely fenced, so our Binky could handle it well. The area is very beautiful, beautiful bike paths you can go in all directions. Then you can enjoy a nice walk on the Kesselse heath, beautiful nature area with many heather plants. Very highly recommended for people who cycle a lot.

The chalet was ideal, sufficient comfort (small bed slightly less) kitchen accessories rather limited the garden and surroundings on the other hand gave a neglected impression (the flowering plants in the picture are all dead). It remains an ideal holiday environment for families with a dog. Also the area, Kesselse heath on walking distance is fantastic! Owner very sympathetic!

came too late by large fille on the Antwerp ring but good supper helped with tips from the homeowner how to drive and therefore very warm welcome at the cottage. A cold beer in the fridge and some nuts and eggs on the table to give you that extra feeling of being welcome. A spacious kitchen where you can lose a lot in. And you can easily anywhere around even with rolator. Since the garden a little can go for supper birds looking for food or nesting material his own way. Even squirrels find their way and you see regularly. The flowers in front attract butterflies over again. And "evening when it is dusk you can see bats flying. The Kesselse Hei is nearby and you want to walk along the water or cycling which can pass the small Nete and the Nete Canal. For shopping, you do not have to drive far. The most extraordinary stores are within driving no 5min. There is a biobakker close with special breads, delicious cakes and rice pudding (with saffron). the house is near the end of a dirt road, but you're not alone. There are cottages but you're not each nose like a big park. Spent really had a great time.

The chalet is in a quiet spot in the woods. Many private land surrounding it. Near Kesselse heath. Wonderful to walk! Excellent base compared Antwerp, eg Gent.Restaurant Oliver in Massenhoven recommended! Hygiene chalet could be better and a slightly wider bed (140cm) would be fine. The shower was lovely (good radius and temperature) We enjoyed the peace, quiet and beautiful scenery! Wifi was good (only would this time it may be included in the price) .The owners are nice, helpful people.

came too late by large fille on the Antwerp ring but good supper helped with tips from the homeowner how to drive and therefore very warm welcome at the cottage. A cold beer in the fridge and some nuts and eggs on the table to give you that extra feeling of being welcome. A spacious kitchen where you can lose a lot in. And you can easily anywhere around even with rolator. Since the garden a little can go for supper birds looking for food or nesting material his own way. Even squirrels find their way and you see regularly. The flowers in front attract butterflies over again. And "evening when it is dusk you can see bats flying. The Kesselse Hei is nearby and you want to walk along the water or cycling which can pass the small Nete and the Nete Canal. For shopping, you do not have to drive far. The most extraordinary stores are within driving no 5min. There is a biobakker close with special breads, delicious cakes and rice pudding (with saffron). the house is near the end of a dirt road, but you're not alone. There are cottages but you're not each nose like a big park. Spent really had a great time.

The chalet was ideal, sufficient comfort (small bed slightly less) kitchen accessories rather limited the garden and surroundings on the other hand gave a neglected impression (the flowering plants in the picture are all dead). It remains an ideal holiday environment for families with a dog. Also the area, Kesselse heath on walking distance is fantastic! Owner very sympathetic!

The arrival was super! Very clean nothing to say ... the owner went in the evening again come over whether everything was in order .... we had problems with the TV (satellite tv flanders) and the storm the week before mss slightly shifted and we could not watch ... the friendly owner Kurt has solved that he came back with a kind of cable that connected to TV we had to download an app and huppa we could watch via mobile phone or tablet that was connected to the TV ... .happy for our capon he was happy that he had netflix.A little further beautiful route (with dogs) on the heath .... The chalet is in a quiet spot in the woods. Many private land surrounding it. Near Kesselse heath. Wonderful to walk! Excellent base compared Antwerp, eg Gent.Restaurant Oliver in Massenhoven recommended! Hygiene chalet could be better and a slightly wider bed (140cm) would be fine. The shower was lovely (good radius and temperature) We enjoyed the peace, quiet and beautiful scenery! Wifi was good (only would this time it may be included in the price) .The owners are nice, helpful people.

It is a nice house for two people and a few dogs, complete, cozy, there was a beer cold and a bone for the dogs on arrival. The cottage is quietly situated in a forest with some other houses but you barely see, you are very private. In the distance you can hear the main road and a train. Garden is ideal for the dogs, roof at the chalet is cozy, you can sit outside, even with rain. It is a bit dark in the garden and in the cottage because of the trees around the chalet, so there is almost no direct sun. Inside it is nicely decorated, the screens are ideal because there are some mosquitoes. We have not found any unloading paths for dogs in the immediate vicinity. However, you can walk everywhere with the dog on the leash, Kesselse heath (not very big, but around the corner 1 min walk) and adjoining is the monastery heath, you can walk to Lier (beautiful town) (about 8 km one way , you can also return by train). You can cycle along the Nete. In short, nice house!

Every morning a nice walk to the bakery (also open on Sundays) with the dogs (10 min there / 10 min back). Fortunately there was a shelter in front of the door where we could smoke. The only thing that did not smoke was the wood stove (because unfortunately there is none :-( On the other hand, comfortable CV). Furthermore, a very large garden that is well fenced so that the dogs cannot run away, but with many squirrels, jays and jays and occasionally to a hawk and at night an owl here and there. We enjoyed a short but powerful time!

The chalet is very secluded and spacious living space for 2 people and a dog and fully equipped. Our dog loved the large garden to play. In the area with the Kesselse heath and along the Nete we had a lovely walk. With the hiking network you can go in all directions and we had a wonderfully relaxing week in the fall. The city of Lier and Tongerlo Abbey and its surroundings are also definitely worth a visit.

From the moment we arrived at the chalet we already knew that our holiday would be great! A beautiful, fenced piece of forest for our dog. A charming chalet where wine and a warm welcome awaited us. The chalet is nicely furnished and very neat. Everything needed is there. The contact with Linzi and Kurt was very pleasant, they were happy to help us. We will definitely come back to enjoy peace in the garden and nice walks in the area.

Nice chalet in a wooded area. Peace, birds and squirrels. The chalet is clean, tidy and has everything you need. Owners are easily approachable and are there for you if there is something. The chalet is also rented out as a 4-person, but given the space, we would not opt for that.

Cycling holiday from 31 July to 7 August with cycling network KEMPEN version 2020 Also in "corona" times we have had a very nice cycling week.The holiday home is in tip-top shape, congratulations to the cleaning service! Friendly and helpful host, many shops in the area a beautiful surroundings with regular something to eat and drink. Maybe promote the Kempen a little more in West Flanders. The residence is in a blissfully quiet place surrounded by the forest. Everything was there in the house! It is also a very spacious chalet with a large kitchen where you can cook extensively. The landlords were very friendly and the contact went very smoothly. I definitely recommend it for longer holidays or for weekends. I don't think you can ever walk out there!

Nice house, fully equipped. It is neat and clean. The garden is large and completely fenced, which made it impossible for the children and the dog to run away. After a self check-in, we were personally welcomed by the owner a little later. We have experienced this as pleasant.

This was the 2nd time for us. Nice holiday home in the woods and close to the heath. Nice and beautiful cities a short distance away. Pleasant reception by the owner. With luck also nice weather. Highly recommended for 2 people.

Dear Kurt and Linzi, we have enjoyed our stay in this beautiful holiday home again. Our dog was able to run a lot here in this demarcated garden. We had a great time with countless cycling trips and walking on the Kesselse heide. The cycling roads are very well laid out with name Jaagpad.En we will certainly come back again. The beautiful cottage is set in beautiful natural location from where you can hike, bike. At the cottage enjoy the rust.Antwerpen and Lier steps away, we are definitely going back again.
