This cozy chalet is located in Oud-Turnhout in Belgium. There are 3 bedrooms where a total of 4 persons can stay, perfect for family holidays. It is also permitted to bring 1 pet. In the house are 3 covered terrace for lingering with a cuppa. There are 4 bikes available in the home so you can easily explore the surroundings,
The area has a lot to do. Oud-Turnhout are many fine eateries and restaurants where it is nice place to be. The National Museum of Playing Cards in Turnhout is one of the few museums in the world that takes playing under the microscope. A day at the instance enclave community Baarle-Hertog/Baarle-Nassau or Antwerp at 50 km are possible.
This cozy chalet is located next to the nature reserve The Liereman in a wooded area where you can relax completely. You have a large garden with a sandbox and there are three terraces where you can barbecue. The open kitchen has an oven and you can salvage a washing machine also. On request there is a cot available.

The welcome by the lovely owners Els André was extremely welcoming with a cup of coffee with a lekkernijtje not ontbrak.In the vicinity are several hiking and biking trails through nodes, the cards are therefore present in the house (besides many other info). in the chalet are all means available to make the stay enjoyable, if you are a soap or salt is forgotten that no problem is all there. For cooler evenings there is a wonderful wood stove with plenty of wood available. Finally, the garden is sealed to keep in dogs or small children. A BBQ with comfortable seat is present. In short, a gem!

Our welcome was very warm by Els and André, there was a nice gift waiting for us. Although we had a week with rain, storm and thunder, we enjoyed the peace and cosiness in the chalet. We have had daily visitors of spotted Woodpecker, robins, finches, tits and various squirrels. Stella has had a good time in the well-fenced garden. At clearings we have made walks in the beautiful nature. We will definitely come back.

A beautiful house with all the trimmings. Only for us just a little too remote. Just to do, to visit a cafe or restaurant is a message you should almost always use the car. Especially if you want to drink cozy is of course not ideaal.En non paved road from the cottage down to the paved road is rainfall (and thus we had during our two weeks) a true cross-country event, with a huge quagmire deep pits as the rain continues longer. But the owners can not do anything. A warmly and friendly couple who the cottage and its garden in peak condition!

If two sisters and three small children, we find ourselves really just completely outside the civilized world. A little fairytale. Wood spronkelen and bring the wheelbarrow at the cottage ... Heath is a delightful cottage in the middle of a nature reserve. The owners had upon arrival immediately created a homely atmosphere through their warm welcome (literally and figuratively, warmest people + the stove was burning well) Everything was immaculate and all the (over) provided necessary. We were not the most fantastic weather, there was a lot of wind and rain, but we were able to enjoy hearty holiday. We hiked in the Liereman, the nature in which / is next to the cottage. Sufficient information was made available. There were trails, brochures and maps. Those routes were definitely worth it. There is also a mountain bike route that runs along the house, so interesting for the motocross ... The moments that we were in, we greatly enjoyed the fireplace and the stage of squirrels and birds near the house. In short, even inside was enjoying the pure! We are very pleased with this holiday and would like to come back ... (where I now remember that it is not smart to write so positive ... who knows what never be free in the future -) Oh yeah, about that poor road that goes to the house. So it was a very positive, bringing calm but short holiday week, in the wooded countryside where many birds you constantly indulge in a free symphony and squirrels from one tree to the other dances.

A midweek is too short. The receipt by Els and Andre was extraordinary even though we were a little earlier. The wood stove was already burning on arrival. Everything was well explained how and where everything is located. You will immediately notice that it is super clean. In the fridge for a beer and the kids fresh. There were also delicious bonbons. We were met personally and it was a warm welcome, more than just handing over the key and giving some explanation. That was a very nice start. What was also very nice was the basic facilities (and a little more) that were already present for something to drink, coffee, washing-up liquid, a snack .... so the weekend could immediately start relaxed without many groceries.

Plenty of information in leaflets and explanation about the environment and what to do. A very cozy, cozy cottage with a cozy interior and fully equipped. A beautiful garden around it, which was deposited by a fence, allowing the dog to walk around freely. It is located in the middle of a beautiful nature reserve. Walked wonderfully.

We very much enjoyed our holiday in "Heath". We were warmly welcomed and the cot (with a nice, thick mattress) was still just set up for us. Our daughter has 1.5 entertained themselves here. Inside was a toy and outside was a sandbox with lots of toys. Chair is also available. Beautiful bedroom with a sink and good beds. Very cozy wood stove that the whole house can keep good warm! And a great shower. There are five marked trails that are walkable from the house. Antwerp is a half hour drive, the zoo and the city is a must (fun, convenient and cheap to buy a day ticket for the tram!)

A brilliant beautiful chalet, with all comforts, cozy and spotless. The squirrels are really a pleasure, they really romp on the terraces. The owners are always there for you, take time and pamper you persevere vanalles ready. There were 2 corsendonkjes delicious and fresh in the refrigerator, our week was pretty hot, so that was very welcome. Then a literal welcome in chocolate form. Also enjoyed our dog, lovely stretch out in the grass or under the cool trees. Walking there is also delicious, such enormous pine cones we had not seen .....

Very nice weekend had in this beautifully decorated house. The receipt by Els and Andre was particularly friendly. We stayed at Heath end of February 2013. It was cold outside, but the two heaters kept us warm fine. The cottage was very clean, the kitchen well and fully equipped. The second day there was quite a lot of snow. This is a fantastic holiday home for families with young children. The garden is fully enclosed and beautifully maintained with a lovely sandpit and barbeque. We were provide with a cot, highchair and stair gate for our 1 year old. Our older boys loved sleeping up in the mezzanine room. We brought bikes for the children and used the 2 adult bikes at the property to explore the surrounding area. We found lots of interesting things to do in the surrounding area with our children - Zilvermeer was a real hit with our 3 boys. We received a lovely warm welcome when we arrived at the property. The owners obviously take a great deal of pride making sure that everything is perfect for their guests and it was much appreciated.

The reception in the small, but clean and fully equipped cottage was great. Nice people, delicious chocolates etc, all very attentive. We felt really at home. The setting is very nice, it is very quiet (in the forest) and the nature around is definitely worth a visit. In 40 minutes you are in Antwerp, our kids loved the zoo very much. But Bobbejaanland and other theme parks are vlakbij.Wij could our z "n celebrate fine save in the house, but there is an extension to the living room plus an extra bedroom. This will probably still be more fun to stay there. We find this house a real winner!

Also a nice garden where you can sit outside., Even during a rainstorm, the receipt by the owner was extremely warmly., We immediately felt at home. When receiving a tray with tea and coffee ready and a delicious piece of chocolate in the fridge all that soda and a triple ready. You feel immediately welcome! The beds are wonderful, good mattress and good pillows. The garden around the house is neat and tidy and is a sandbox for children right next to the terrace. "In the morning you can hear the woodpeckers high in the trees and all kinds of other birds hopping across the lawn back. Just super. The managers are very friendly and the house looked very smart. We really enjoyed the beautiful and cozy house where everything is available. We mainly went for our dog to 'escape' the fireworks in the Netherlands. The fireworks on New Year's Eve were far enough away that our dog had a quiet New Year's Eve. The immediate area is beautiful and quiet, nice for walking the dog. There are supermarkets and other shops a few kilometers away. The owners are very nice and do everything they can to make you happy.

We have many birds of prey, deer, and grassland birds seen around the house and in the garden you can enjoy the squirrels, woodpeckers and many other birds. Dopheide has exceeded our expectations at every level. We have stayed in Dopheide during the New Year week. The weather was mild (5-10 degrees celcius) and we wished it was colder. The small stove in the house is more than enough to keep the whole house warm. Dopheide is equipped with everything you need in a stylish way. Heath is a delightful cottage in the middle of a nature reserve. The owners had upon arrival immediately created a homely atmosphere through their warm welcome (literally and figuratively, warmest people + the stove was burning well) Everything was immaculate and all the (over) provided necessary. We were not the most fantastic weather, there was a lot of wind and rain, but we were able to enjoy hearty holiday. We hiked in the Liereman, the nature in which / is next to the cottage. Sufficient information was made available. There were trails, brochures and maps. Those routes were definitely worth it. There is also a mountain bike route that runs along the house, so interesting for the motocross ... The moments that we were in, we greatly enjoyed the fireplace and the stage of squirrels and birds near the house. In short, even inside was enjoying the pure! We are very pleased with this holiday and would like to come back ... It is a wonderfully cozy cottage in the woods. Everything is very clean and present. Sandpit with toys, blanket to sit outside, wood for the stove and delicious chocolates and coffee and tea. Friendly reception and quiet spot.

A brilliant beautiful chalet, with all comforts, cozy and spotless. The squirrels are really a pleasure, they really romp on the terraces. The owners are always there for you, take time and pamper you persevere vanalles ready. There were 2 corsendonkjes delicious and fresh in the refrigerator, our week was pretty hot, so that was very welcome. Then a literal welcome in chocolate form. Also enjoyed our dog, lovely stretch out in the grass or under the cool trees. Walking there is also delicious, such enormous pine cones we had not seen .....

If two sisters and three small children, we find ourselves really just completely outside the civilized world. A little fairytale. Wood spronkelen and bring the wheelbarrow at the cottage ... Our welcome was very warm by Els and André, there was a nice gift waiting for us. Although we had a week with rain, storm and thunder, we enjoyed the peace and cosiness in the chalet. We have had daily visitors of spotted Woodpecker, robins, finches, tits and various squirrels. Stella has had a good time in the well-fenced garden. A midweek is too short. The receipt by Els and Andre was extraordinary even though we were a little earlier. The wood stove was already burning on arrival. We booked last minute and got a great fun house. Very nice people who received us .... we felt very much at home. With a gas stove and a houitkachel we have not had time cold, even though it was freezing and there was a lot every day new snow ... we walked into the beautiful surroundings, slid across the road, throwing snowballs and sledding .... . within warm sat, played games, read a lot and very good food .... slept, it was very quiet, relaxing ... in a sense, this was just a perfect house and a perfect place and perfect people. ... thanks.!

On arrival there was a surprise, both for the adults and the children. Also a regional beer and some soft drinks were thought. The cottage was very clean and cared for. The chalet is located in the middle of the nature reserve "De Vliereman", which guarantees days of walking and cycling pleasure. At the house there are feeding posts and drinking bowls for the animals, so you can spot many animals up close (squirrel, robin, jay, nuthatch, spotted woodpecker, ...). All you have to do is be silent and wait patiently ...

We very much enjoyed our holiday in "Heath". We were warmly welcomed and the cot (with a nice, thick mattress) was still just set up for us. Our daughter has 1.5 entertained themselves here. Inside was a toy and outside was a sandbox with lots of toys. Chair is also available. Beautiful bedroom with a sink and good beds. Very cozy wood stove that the whole house can keep good warm! And a great shower. There are five marked trails that are walkable from the house. Antwerp is a half hour drive, the zoo and the city is a must (fun, convenient and cheap to buy a day ticket for the tram!)

A lovely fairytale house. Good beds and almost everything has been thought of. The area is really lovely, we walked a lot. We were personally and very warmly received by the lovely owners. Despite a lot of frost of -4 and cold days (sun every day!) We were able to burn good wood, which made it pleasant. The last 2 nights and days got a lot warmer. The WiFi was fine, so we could do some work in between. The birds and squirrels are well represented in the well-kept garden. And in the night I heard a tawny owl! You come here for your peace and nature. We also live in a wooden house ourselves and know what it is like to live in a wooden house. Fortunately, there are many blankets for the cooler nights, so even when it is a bit colder, everything has been thought of. And the spring sun was shining, so we sat in the sun every now and then with a blanket on. We really enjoyed a week of rest!

This is a fantastic holiday home for families with young children. The garden is fully enclosed and beautifully maintained with a lovely sandpit and barbeque. We were provide with a cot, highchair and stair gate for our 1 year old. Our older boys loved sleeping up in the mezzanine room. We brought bikes for the children and used the 2 adult bikes at the property to explore the surrounding area. We found lots of interesting things to do in the surrounding area with our children - Zilvermeer was a real hit with our 3 boys. We received a lovely warm welcome when we arrived at the property. The owners obviously take a great deal of pride making sure that everything is perfect for their guests and it was much appreciated.

The setting is very nice, it is very quiet (in the forest) and the nature around is definitely worth a visit. In 40 minutes you are in Antwerp, our kids loved the zoo very much. But Bobbejaanland and other theme parks are vlakbij.Wij could our z "n celebrate fine save in the house, but there is an extension to the living room plus an extra bedroom. This will probably still be more fun to stay there. We find this house a real winner!

One morning we have a dew strip made of 6 km and have several deer and hares given also the song of the birds was very indrukwekkend.De environment is beautiful. The cottage is located on a dirt road, which is committed to very difficult. But here the owners can not do anything because the protected area is. The cottage is very cozy and warm. The owner had decorated (for Christmas) and it looked very cozy. Everything was huge clean inside and equipped. The area is very beautiful, but not suitable for walking with a stroller. The welcome by the lovely owners Els André was extremely welcoming with a cup of coffee with a lekkernijtje not ontbrak.In the vicinity are several hiking and biking trails through nodes, the cards are therefore present in the house (besides many other info). in the chalet are all means available to make the stay enjoyable, if you are a soap or salt is forgotten that no problem is all there. For cooler evenings there is a wonderful wood stove with plenty of wood available. Finally, the garden is sealed to keep in dogs or small children. A BBQ with comfortable seat is present. Unbelievable. Everything was there even body lotion shampoo, coffee, tea, a welcome packet with chocolate. you name it. The reception was super friendly. First a tour of the house and then a coffee. What a welcome. Actually we were short the weekend, but that was our own fault.,

Great house, great host, nice and clean and all sorts of perks like a beer and fresh in the fridge, chocolate, practical information with walking past the house, etc. We have enjoyed. A disadvantage? A midweek is much too short!

We watched as a family out for a relaxing weekend. We have been able to fully enjoy this beautiful, cozy, cozy cottage. Getting nothing lacking, everything was spotless, the beds super, the wood stove sublime! The garden ... very nice and well maintained. Our two teenagers loved this stay top. The owners, genuine friendly people. The area lends itself perfect for scenic walks. Weekend was too fast.

A beautiful house with all the trimmings. Only for us just a little too remote. Just to do, to visit a cafe or restaurant is a message you should almost always use the car. Especially if you want to drink cozy is of course not ideaal.En non paved road from the cottage down to the paved road is rainfall (and thus we had during our two weeks) a true cross-country event, with a huge quagmire deep pits as the rain continues longer. But the owners can not do anything. A warmly and friendly couple who the cottage and its garden in peak condition!

We are extremely welcomed by the hostess. The fireplace was warm and there were fired Belgian chocolates and drinks ready. The house has lots of room and bedrooms with comfortable beds. The garden is very large and nicely landscaped. Both inside and outside, you see that great care is spent. We were here with our daughter for almost 2 years. She has a wonderful time here amused: inside the toys of the house and outside in the sandpit. A great week for us all!

A great fun and cozy cottage on a huge piece of land in the middle of the forest! "In the morning you can hear the woodpeckers high in the trees and all kinds of other birds hopping across the lawn back. Just super. The managers are very friendly and the house looked very smart. One thing is certain, you will relax completely ! Who wants some more action: Antwerp is a half hour drive and Turnhout is also worthwhile to take a look. There are also at the cottage wtee bikes, so there is certainly plenty to do. Definitely recommended ! Josephine

It is a wonderfully cozy cottage in the woods. Everything is very clean and present. Sandpit with toys, blanket to sit outside, wood for the stove and delicious chocolates and coffee and tea. Friendly reception and quiet spot.
