At holiday park park de Baalse Hei you can book different accommodations with different comfort levels. The 4-person Burstner (BE-2300-03) and the 5-person Burstner (BE-2300-04) are furnished in a simple but nice way. They're very suitable as a base to explore this beautiful area. They're also located on spacious, sheltered plots. For 6 people there's the modern Toas XL (BE-2300-05). This comfortably type is equipped most modern comforts including two bathrooms and a dishwasher. They're located at the edge of the park at the side of the river (not directly by the river). Each accommodation has Wi-Fi reception.

Holiday park Baalse Hei enjoys a beautiful location in the middle of nature reserve de Antwerpse Kempen. The character of the surroundings can be found back in the park itself. It's spacious, there's a lot of shelter and different kinds of natural water, including a swimming, fishing and sailing pond. You can enjoy a beautiful walk without having to leave the holiday park. You'll also find various facilities in the park, like playgrounds, sports fields and a pleasant tavern where you can buy a quick or extensive meal. Of course you can also get the famous local beers Trappist and Corsendonk here.
The area is wonderful for hiking and cycling enthusiasts. In this nature reserve you can choose from approximately 50 different cycling routes, of which about 10 run along holiday park Baalse Hei. The city of Turnhout is like a small version of Antwerp. A short but beautiful bike ride of just 8 km will bring you to the city centre with its many historical sights and restaurants/bars. Antwerp itself can also be reached easily and is 50 km away.
Baalse Hei is the ideal destination for nature lovers with different wishes for an active but relaxing holiday.

Green quiet location, new house and in tip-top shape. Good beds box springs. Properly polished. Friendly reception. Enjoyed the peace and luxury of the cottage.

Nice stay with young children. Many play options (even somewhat outdated our children had a lot of fun here). Cottage itself equipped with all necessary things.

The houses are modern and functionally furnished. Everything is there for a great holiday. Little crockery available (for 6 people, you have to wash a few times a day). The beds are of not so good quality (hard) and the pillows even less (flat, without volume). The seat is also not comfortable (hard). However, the cottage was not cleaned properly. This should be done more (especially in these corona times). Staff is very friendly. Nice that bread could be ordered and fries picked up (school holidays). Very beautiful nature nearby for walking or cycling. Turnhout city 5 km from the campsite.

The accommodation was ok but the drain stank and there was no aircon.The environment was nice but the park doesn't live up to what they advertise.Poorly maintained, canoe pond not accessible.Generally poor maintenance of the park.Foreign workers rent most of the cottages .Not really pleasant. Much too expensive for what it was !!

Beautiful very well equipped luxury chalet. Very clean. Limited menu in restaurant because of Covid-19. Understandable, only real downside, the dirt road in front of the luxury chalets 343 to 348 turns into a muddy pool when it rains

Worst beds ever because simple wooden slatted bases and thin mattresses that also sag enormously, only cleaned at floor level and therefore dirty curtains and insects beaten to death everywhere on the walls and ceilings, sound that fall out, no cleaning material available except for a hand brush set.. .
