Just had a family weekend. The farm itself was very nice but definitely not neat. There was dust everywhere while you have to pay 125 euros for the brush. The house is large and very poorly insulated, so you pay your blue to heating costs that come with it. The price of the water and the waste are also really pulled by his hair. A friendly welcome. We wouldn't do it back.

We had an excellent weekend in this very spacious and charming house Very warm welcome, including for our 5 dogs who also took advantage of the many walks in the area (just a small point to improve at the level of the fence of the garden) A plus for the billiards and the sauna which were greatly appreciated. Little suggestion: for ease / tranquility, we would have preferred that a minimum consumption be already foreseen in advance in the price (even if it means paying a supplement in case overrun) because it's hard to know what to expect. It would also be necessary to add to the list of costs the costs for water which are not mentioned.

Die Geräumigkeit des Hauses war perfekt für unser Familientreffen, Mit sechs Schlafzimmern und einem großen Essbereich fühlten wir uns nie gedrängt, Der rustikale Charme des alten Bauernhauses mit seinen Holzbalken und dem gemütlichen Kamin trug wirklich zur Atmosphäre bei, Die Sauna war ein fantastisches Extra, perfekt zum Entspannen nach einem Tag Wandern im umliegenden Wald, Wir genossen auch die große Terrasse für unsere Abendbarbecues, Die Lage ist großartig, nur einen kurzen Spaziergang zum Dorfzentrum und in der Nähe einiger schöner Wanderwege, Sehr zu empfehlen für eine Familie oder Gruppenrückzug!

What a beautiful place! The location is perfect for nature lovers - so many trails nearby. The kids loved the outdoor playground, and we enjoyed barbecuing in the garden. The hosts were friendly and made us feel very welcome.

On arrival we found dirty underpants in the shower and medicines in 1 of the rooms. The second day the sauna did not work, it had failed. In the evening the owner came by to fix this, apparently this happened often and according to him it was normal. The morning of departure, showering was not an option, we had no hot water, boiler was off. The owner came in almost daily The morning of departure we were having breakfast at 8.30 am, he also just walked in without any explanation. At the settlement it turned out that we had to pay an overlay of €1700 in electricity consumption. Owner said that This was not possible and that he had written down a wrong initial meter reading, so he started to count and said that we had to pay a deposit of €155 on top of the €600 deposit, then it was all right. , but have not received any proof of payment, we feel a bit cheated with this.

We had a wonderful stay at the Authentic Holiday Home in Gouvy! The spaciousness of the house was perfect for our family reunion. With six bedrooms and a large dining area, we never felt cramped. The rustic charm of the old farmhouse with its wooden beams and cozy fireplace really contributed to the atmosphere. The sauna was a fantastic extra, perfect for relaxing after a day of hiking in the surrounding forest. We also enjoyed the large terrace for our evening barbecues. The location is great, just a short walk to the village center and near some beautiful hiking trails. Highly recommended for a family or group retreat!
