Very nice house with sun all afternoon on the terrace and inside. Beautiful chalet, completely finished in wood. The host André receives you with open arms and explains everything well. It gives you complete privacy during your stay. There is also a separate gate that leads to the cottage. Definitely worth it and very close to Durbuy!

The "tiny house" at the Domaine de Bellevue immediately felt like a warm, cozy cocoon upon entering. Everything needed to make you feel at home is there. We were kindly welcomed by the host and shown around the house. The only thing we regretted was that the wood stove should not be lit for fire safety reasons. It was something that would have added to the cosiness of the first autumn cold and the gray weather. We made beautiful walks in the area: Durbuy, Weris, Villers-ste-Gertrude. Tip for future tenants: 1.5 km from the house is the "Monument de l" Armée Secrète "(monument to the resistance army) on a plateau of 310 mtrs, with a beautiful panoramic view. (steep climb) or by car.

It was a beautiful, clean, complete house with a lovely terrace. Only the heat pump hummed and a screen on the bedroom window would be nice to keep mosquitoes out. But otherwise highly recommended.

A compact, clean and bright cottage with everything you need during your stay. The area is nice and quiet and in good weather the terrace with furniture, a good parasol and a barbecue is very nice. We spent a pleasant midweek in a nice area that we already knew from previous visits. Still worth it. A tip to further improve your stay in "Remember": the sofa in the sitting area has clearly been used a lot and while sitting you can feel the metal interior (too) clearly. Another bank would make the stay even more pleasant.

Accommodation looked neatly cared for. We arrived an hour earlier than agreed, but after a small 10 minute wait we could use the accommodation. Owner himself speaks no Dutch and little English, but he had brought a friend who could show us in Dutch through the accommodation. That has helped tremendously. Environment is very quiet with little traffic.

We were welcomed with open arms by a very friendly owner and immediately felt welcome. We also received an extensive tour and explanation. The cottage is fully equipped and has a nice terrace with nice loungers, which you have a beautiful view of the beautiful garden of the owner. Nice location and very nice landlord (only speaks French). Nicely furnished house and lovely terrace in front. Keep in mind that with less weather you have little space and the sofa is really awful and is much too old. Unfortunately, the biggest problem is the bed, extremely small and uncomfortable. In the details it says 200 x 140cm but that is not correct. I am 200cm myself and my feet are over the edge and I also doubt whether the width is 140cm. Sleeping on this bed with 2 people is actually impossible unless you are both no taller than 175cm.Verder there is a pump for the pond in the house that is always on and makes a lot of noise. So if you are sensitive to noise, bring earplugs. We had 3 pretty bad nights because of the bed and the noise of the pump and will absolutely never come back. It's a shame because it's a nice place. If the landlord would invest in a normal good-sized bed and sofa, that would make a world of difference. In addition, that pump should simply be placed somewhere outside and not in the house.....

The owner arrived immediately when he learned that we were there. He could not speak Dutch very well, combined this with some English and French. Mr. was easy to understand and explained everything nicely. The cottage is on a quiet road where you can fully enjoy nature. Durbuy is around 6-10 minutes drive away so very close. You are not bothered at all by the owners, there is a sort of canvas that separates the gardens because you still have a lot of privacy despite the owners living next door. There is a lot to do in the area, such as game parks and caves. This is all less than a 45-minute drive away. Really had a great holiday!

We had announced the arrival time via email. Mr saw us coming and welcomed us warmly. We received a detailed explanation of the possibilities that the house offered. Everything had been thought of: air conditioning, TV, dishwasher, oven, microwave, coffee maker plus Senseo etc. Outside on the terrace we could eat and relax in the sun loungers. Durbuy is a nice and cozy place with terraces and beautiful views everywhere. Also stores of course. The only drawback was that there are no Dutch channels on TV in the house. But that is a side issue, the rest was excellent!

We had a great holiday. The cottage was very nice and tidy and fully equipped, especially with regard to the kitchen. Everything is there! The owner welcomed us very friendly and gave a tour of the house to show and explain everything, he did not speak English well but did his best and could also make himself understood. Although he lives right next to the house you do not see each other and you really have a private place. The fact that you can park the car behind a fence is very nice. A small minus is the bed, it is very short (I guess 1.80) and the pillows we found not pleasant but if you bring your own pillow that problem is solved.
