This place exceeded our expectations! The warmth of the central heating made our winter holiday much more pleasant. Additionally, we appreciated the clean and tidy surroundings. A perfect place for a peaceful vacation.

The chalet was beautifully decorated and had all the essentials, We found the ideal location to explore the Ardennes, It was just a few minutes' drive from the Durbuy Golf Club, which we enjoyed, A very pleasant stay overall

We had a pleasant stay at Splendid Chalet in Durbuy! The garden was perfect for morning coffee and evening barbecues, the chalet was well-equipped, and the central heating made it very cozy during our trip. I highly recommend it for families!

The location is fantastic, with the city of Durbuy just a short drive away. We loved exploring the nearby caves and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The chalet itself was spacious and clean, making it an excellent base for our adventures.

Fantastic chalet! The beds were super comfortable, and the recreation room provided us with entertainment. A bit far from the main attractions, but worth it for the peaceful atmosphere. I recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet getaway.

There was a key box that was easy because you are not tied to time. The house is in a beautiful setting. With enough options for excursions and hiking in the area. The accommodation was fine (small minus point the seating area is very sagging and very worn under the rugs) very cozy the large dining table with wonderful chairs around it which invited to long tables.

it is a beautiful, cosily furnished holiday home, in a beautiful location; a small downside is that there is not a real shower (you have to stand in the sink and there is no grab rail to get yourself up). The house is numbered 8

Very spacious chalet with all amenities. Good beds and lots of comfort. Clean sheets and sanitary facilities. Only in terms of cleaning was this disappointing. The floors were not very clean and there was also a nice layer of dust and spider webs were visible.

Happy Wood is a super nice chalet with a lovely atmosphere. Super large, very complete including a fantastic games room in the basement (football table, billiards, dart machine). A few minor points: few sockets by modern standards, WiFi is very slow, it is quite dusty - even on arrival -, showering is quite a challenge in the two bathrooms with a bath but no shower cabin, and the new sofas are guaranteed to provide a hernia up, they are that hard. It shouldn't spoil the fun, this was our second visit to happy wood and it certainly won't be the last visit. Next time we'll bring a set of power strips 😉.

What a fantastic unit cared for house. The check-in is well organized, more than enough rooms and very attractively decorated. The games basement with the football table and pool table were very popular. ☺️

Very good accommodation. Good beds, cared chalet good facilities, only the glasses, plates and cutlery washed off once again were absolutely not taken care of. Environment ideal, all facilities close to.

We stayed with our 2 adult children and their families (8 people total) for 4 days in June 2024. The chalet is nicely situated on a large fenced property, a few minutes drive from Durbuy. It is all well maintained with a nice covered deck. We had a wonderfull time and would definitely have no mind to come back to this property in the future. The house is clean, well organized and has a pool table, fuss ball and a dart game machine (we enjoyed the last one the most)! 5 star experience!!

A good stay. On arrival we found the keys as agreed with the owner. The terrace and outside were not so clean. The bathrooms and bedrooms with bed linen were cleaned and ok. A plus was certainly the sufficient kitchen utensils, pots and pans and that everything was very clean! The garage with snooker and table football was also a plus. We had a nice stay. Mirese & Co

Good and neat chalet. Heating ok. Insufficient availability of glasses for 9 people. On 1 bed above bad mattress. An information sheet on site with all useful accommodation information would be practical.

Beautiful and spacious chalet for 2 families (in our case 4 adults and 5 children). 2 separate bathrooms (1 upstairs and 1 downstairs) and a nice extra "tje is the games room with table football and pool table. Very quiet neighborhood and for shopping, Durbuy and Barvaux are within 10 minutes by car. Beautiful area for walking and bicycles Good contact with the owner.

We paid 95 euros extra for the cleaning. On arrival the building was very dirty, dust and remnants of the other tenants everywhere and the sheets smelled terribly. The heating was not working properly and we were not allowed to touch the heating by the owner. There was a stove with logs but we were not allowed to use it for safety reasons. it is certainly not recommended to come here in winter. our children suffered cold throughout the stay. Worst of if was the owners didn't want to refund our deposit because we left 1 garbage bag. ??? pure scammers.

Key was ready in safe at the front door. Spacious and cozy chalet, beautifully situated. We did miss a coffee maker and therefore had to improvise. Making coffee for several people with a Senseo device is quite cumbersome.

The accommodation is beautifully located with four bedrooms. We had a sunny weekend and the picnic table was ideal for enjoying the sun. One small detail, for tall people, showering was difficult as the cord on the showerhead was not long enough to stand under. But that's just a minor issue.
