You won't find a more comfortable and authentic home than this one. Seen from the outside, it already looks very promising, and once inside, this impression will be even more pronounced. The atmosphere is guaranteed by the materials used: natural stones and wooden beams, to which is added a pleasant oil stove. The owner himself lived in the house until recently, which greatly contributed to its homely furnishings. You are here, at the right address for a true Ardennes experience. All this with the standard comfort amenities, like a renovated bathroom, cable TV and Wi-Fi. When the weather permits, you can enjoy the outdoors where you will find a superb and astonishing long garden. At the very end, you will enjoy a magnificent view of the sloping meadows, with a few donkeys here and there to complete the image.
Borlon is a quiet village, a short distance from the beautiful Durbuy where it is pleasant to stroll through the medieval streets, have lunch or dinner in one of the many restaurants. Of course, the region of exceptional natural beauty offers countless bike or walking tours.

If you have to clean the fridge on arrival before you dare to put your things in it, I think that is a disappointment. The microwave is also just too dirty to use. Environment is ideal for wanderers, less so for a family with young children like us.

Quiet location, but a dark house. The top floor is light. In terms of cleanliness is (unfortunately) nothing positive to say. The oven and oven plate was a disaster. After a long scrubbing I gave up. The cabinets are old and smell old too, just like the material in it. We did not really think the house was worthy of the name "Belvilla".

Great house. 3x2 person beds. Good mattresses. Bit dark living room / kitchen and it took some time to find hot water from the taps. Doubts whether you can get comfortably warm in the winter with only a wood stove and street heaters. Lots of flies and mosquitoes (September). Furthermore, a nice deep garden with shade under the tree at the back. Great WiFi for streaming services. No facilities in the village. Nearest large supermarket at 10 to 15 km in Barvaux. Bakery at 2km but it was just closed. Not perfect but would definitely consider booking again.

We were there during a heat wave, which made it even more annoying that there were no screens or ventilation grilles. Ventilation was only possible under pain of invasion by flies and mosquitoes. On arrival my husband smacked about 50, and there were already dead flies on the ground or stuck to the fly strips. We went home after 4 days. In less hot weather we would have stayed. quiet and beautiful, and the house is fine, only the hygiene left something to be desired. For example, there was black mold in the refrigerator and the oven was dirty inside with caked and burnt remains of probably pizza. corona I expected a better cleaning, but clearly no disinfectants had been used Due to the heat and the missing curtain we were unable to use one of the bedrooms.

It was a very nice and good house with a nice enclosed garden for the children, in short, a nice stay at 10 minutes from Durbuy. Just a pity that it was not clean on arrival.

The arrival was disappointing. The cleaning was done very poorly. The refrigerator was still dirty. Siege paper was stuck to the back. There was still an ice cream in the freezer. The toilet (ground floor) was also dirty (piss from the previous people). We found the service not to have been cleaned as well. The accommodation itself was beautiful on the first floor. We found the ground floor cold, dark and musty. We did not find it cozy. The area is beautiful! Ideal for walks.

A little more large glasses and cups would be nice. We did not know what to do with the plastic waste and paper. The last day we went to the nearest waste park but were sent back home with the waste. We just put it in the back yard of the house. Cottage was easily accessible on arrival with code of key safe and was tidy. Nice environment and view in the back garden. Calm environment. In one bedroom there was no curtain for the skylight but an eye mask offered a solution.

We received the key via a code. The house immediately felt pleasant and personal, without being too private. The kitchen was well equipped with everything. The bedrooms were fine, the very spacious bathroom upstairs was very good, the deep garden overlooking the fields increased the sense of space. The village was quiet, the surroundings very beautiful, with wide views.

Upon arrival we could open the house with a key that was in a cupboard with code next to the front door.The cottage is cozy and simple but has all the amenities. It is located in a quiet village where you are woken at the most by passing agricultural vehicles. Behind the house is a large long garden with a wide view of meadows. Downstairs everything seems very small due to the low ceiling. Upstairs it is very spacious 3 large bedrooms with 2 single beds. A room has a skylight without a curtain, making it too early in the morning. The area is very suitable for cyclists, where the real hills start.For sports enthusiasts there is plenty to do in the area.There are also beautiful small towns .

The cottage was clean and spacious enough for a family with three children. The garden is deep. There are many child-unfriendly plants in the garden, think of nettles, thistles, etc. It was a pity that there was no playground in the garden. In the village is neither a playground nor a shop. For this reason we would not recommend the house for families with young children. There are no facilities available such as a bedstead or stair gate.

Small dark house, with oil stove (and that smell you) We were with 5 people and then the living room a little tight. The garden is large and attractive. The upper floor is spacious. One of the bedrooms has a skylight without curtains and that is very light "the children wake up early in the morning." The cottage could certainly use some updating. "The house was not as well cleaned goed.Wifi was prima.Er is a bakery in Durbuy and for a supermarket you have to drive a little further (15 minutes).

The Owner was not present on arrival but we were given a code for a key safe. From outside you do not expect how big the house (s) is definitely above, with a nice deep backyard. everything is presentThe surroundings are beautiful and quiet really a French farm village. with a quarter of a 20 min by car you are at some bigger places where everything is available Supermarkets, restaurants and shops. Have a good week and actually too short to see everything in the area.
