The house is great! Lots of space, everything available, beautiful surroundings (and the view!). We walked wonderfully, swam in lakes in the area, visited a great castle and walked no more.

We had a wonderful holiday in this house in Diex. What a huge space and beautiful view in the valley. We were allowed to use the house including the underlying apartment: this gave even more space and also gave access to the extra bathroom. The silence of the valley, the atmosphere of the house and the beautiful surroundings made this a fantastic place.

We were very warmly received by Mr Hartl. There was a bottle of wine waiting for us and a welkomskarart. The house is pretty big and comfortable. Diex is a quiet dorpje.Je can easily fine dining, shopping, etc. but both rely on Volker Market, 13 km rijden.Diex is a good starting point for beautiful hikes, there are routes that begin and end in Diex, you do there is thus not used in the car. You can swim in the Klopeinersee or in the bath when you volkermarkt.Als Klopeinersee one of the jetties want to suns then you will have to pay, in some goedkoop.Voor this is not the way the boys were still candy for the road of Mr. and Mrs. Hartl. All in all a wonderful holiday. Only drawback is that because of the height s "avonde warm evening not many have. On the other hand, you s" all morning from 8.00 to sit in the sun in fine weather.

June 28-July 11, 2008: Two wonderful weeks! The house is very spacious, the location is great (not as pretty as the picture due to new left and right but nice) and the village is lovely. That Diex the most sunshine in Austria has been proven in our holiday. The owner does have to keep. Best things tidy Nice people. If we are "improvement points" should mention that the high cost afterwards (tax, water, electricity, etc.) and that you always have an hour you mindstens road for many attractions / trails (but did we have to look naturally advance better) .

Mr. Hartl showed us the wallets show the necessary rules, after leaving the suitcases unpacked, the holidays can beginnen.De 1st half of the trip we had a lot of rain, fog and another regen.De 2nd half of the day was sunny but "s evening was chilly or regen.De last days of our vacation ended with a hailstorm (just pigeon eggs as big) storm and many regen.We almost any weather meegemaakt.Dhr Hartl came along, he had to mow the grass, and wondered if the hailstorm had we not so affected, concerns aangericht.Wat rest there was no damage new sewers constructed. "morning at 7:00 am we were awakened by the excavator, and this went on until 18:00 uur.Dus quiet I can not mention of the 14 days we had 12 days to work around the house.The view is fantastic and we enjoyed a herd of deer in the dal.We have driven around a lot, and lots gezien.Het highest point of our trip was in 2100 meters, shame that the view was obstructed by clouds, but it was a whole belevenis.Vriendelijke Regards, Fam. Warm welcome and good explanation of facilities of the house by landlords. They are very helpful.

Chalet is a spacious three-storey house of which we actually only used the parterre (2 people). Good, firm mattress. Good towels. Everything you need is there. Great view of the valley and the slope opposite, with the Karawanken in the distance. On the balcony you can sit (table, chairs, parasol) and lie (sunbeds), both in the sun and in the shade. A house with lots of privacy where you quickly feel at home.

The house is a good base for walks around Diex. A walking map with 18 routes (5-15 km) is available at the town hall (euro 1,-) with Diex as the starting point. These walks are clearly marked and signposted and easy to walk (eg Zauberkogelweg, Probstkogelweg, Sapotnigofenweg, Wandelitzenweg). A nice walk in the area is to the Grosser Sauofen eg from the Steinerhütte in Eberstein. The chalet is also a good opportunity to visit the various lakes, nearby cities and museums (eg Liaunig, Neuhaus). In Diex there is a guesthouse (200 m) with a terrace, good meals, coffee and cake. There are no more shops in Diex. Völkermarkt (13 km, 15 minutes by car) with many shops is the nearest place for shopping.

It is nice that you are high up and therefore often sit in the sun and look down on the clouds in the valley. As a result, the weather is usually nicer than in the valley. A beautiful location!

A lovely little house on the mountain, an absolute must. The cottage is a parent couple who himself lives in the nearby village Völkermarkt. The cottage is fully furnished it is much nicer than the pictures "s suggest. There is a full kitchen with oven and microwave.Using balcony is very spacious and the views magnificent. Keep in mind that it significantly cools" evening by the altitude. We had brought some nice throws, so we could still sit outside. The garden that comes with the downstairs apartment (usually not rented) we did not use, on the balcony we could fine barbecue. Here below is also a washing machine that you can gebruiken.Er is a separate toilet. The bathroom is unfortunately very dated and the bed must be replaced once. This does not mean that it's a wonderful house to spend a week. It is very spacious and there is a private parking for the door. The cottage is not as lonely as the photo 's suggest, over the years, eea built. It is a beautiful house in a fantastic plaats.Vriendelijkheid of owner and the local population was no more goed.Ga even eat in a nearby restaurant. A good kitchen for very moderate prices, the amount of food plenty is.Voor fresh rolls and a single message one should definitely shop in the village bezoeken.Zwemmen can be very much in the Klopeinersee.Verder is near everything do and see.

(Gave us tips to make excursions, brought homemade honey meeen chocolate for the kids) The house has a very quiet location in the village itself has little to beleven.Wel a nice playground at the kerk.En every morning we could buy fresh bread at the shop next to the church (even on Sundays!) Hartl house is a fine home for people who love peace and love to pull out. Diex is a pretty little town with a very nice shop where you can get fresh bread. The house is pretty full with all kinds of stuff from the owner. Little bit dated all. Superb views over the mountains with plenty of opportunities for walks.

The welcome is very warm, the cottage is a beautiful place in a very quiet village. Sandwiches are to get daily (except Sunday) and a cozy restaurant with good value for money (very affordable) you do not have to walk far. Magnificent view, several walks nearby and lots to do in the wider area. Spacious house with a balcony that "morning already lying in the sun -" the evening is a bit colder by the schaudw (and height). Garden is not suitable for children who want to play football, etc. Recommended for those seeking tranquility!

Thank you very much. Super nice surroundings and that view is grandiose. House in a beautiful location. Unfortunately also had rainy and cold days of 12 degrees. In the valley it is a few degrees warmer. Residents of Diex very nice. Wonderful environment with enough hiking trails. Near a gasthof with a simple kitchen no fuss. Good food if we did not feel like cooking it ourselves. Would you like some fish, they also have other dishes of course, we recommend Landgasthof Schneider in Enzelsdorf near Griffen. Delicious food.

Wonderful holiday behind us in Diex (pronounced Die-ex) Spacious accommodation with everything needed to experience a wonderful holiday. We were unlucky that the neighbor was chipping away at his roof with a jackhammer and that (because of the heat I think) started at 06:30. But let's look at it from the bright side: the days were well spent. Many trips made, delicious (good and cheap) eaten at the Gasthaus (Messnerwirt) about 100 meters away. Beautiful village, unfortunately some vacancy. There are 2 (large) Gasthäuser for sale / for rent and the local shop with anything and everything, also close.But all in all: a lovely house and 2 wonderful holiday weeks!
