This modern and high-quality wooden chalet for a maximum of 8 people is located in St. Georgen ob Murau in Styria and is located in beautiful surroundings in a small holiday park in the immediate vicinity of the Kreischberg ski area.
The chalet is modern and comfortably furnished and offers a large living room, a modern fully equipped kitchen, 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, washing machine and dryer, a sauna and a large wooden terrace.
The holiday park is quietly yet centrally located in the middle of beautiful nature. The valley station of the Kreischbergbahn takes you directly to the Kreischberg ski area with a total of 42 kilometers of slopes. Other ski areas in the immediate vicinity are Hirnkopf-Flattnitz (Glödnitz) in Central Carinthia (approx. 20 minutes) with 8 kilometers of slopes and 5 lifts, Turracher Höhe, one of the most diverse ski areas in the Southern Alps with 43 kilometers of slopes and 15 cable cars and ski lifts (approx. 30 minutes) , the Prebersee high-altitude trail in approx. 30 minutes and the cross-country skiing area in Schönfeld - Innerkrems (approx. 40 minutes).
The regional capital Murau can be reached in 5 minutes by car and offers many shopping opportunities and there is also a swimming pool. You can cycle on the very popular Murtal cycle path. From the chalet you can also easily reach many excursion destinations with the Murtalbahn, as the Kaindorf Süd station is only 200 meters from the house (in winter it also serves as a ski bus). There is also a golf course and a large riding stable nearby (1 km). Bread delivery service can be arranged on site. In short: everything for a wonderful holiday.
In summer, the outdoor pool in St. Lorenzen, the natural swimming pool in Murau or the leisure facility in Stadl an der Mur with a 7000 m2 swimming lake offer lots of swimming fun!

House was fine. Seating furniture needs to be replaced or is not pleasant. Sauna was great. Location perfect.

Super clean and tidy house. Arrival was perfect, call half an hour in advance and someone was waiting for us at the house for explanation, etc. Everything was there, only praise. Check out same as check in. Just call when you want to leave and someone will come by to arrange everything. Environment super nice! We will definitely come back again.

The journey was very relaxing, well signposted. On arrival there is a small house with the landlord's phone, call and in 5 minutes. He was there. Very nice contact. A nice chalet in a "chalet park", the so-called Woody Park. The location is great, right behind the chalet there is a small stream, if you like sitting by the water or hearing the rustling of the stream, this chalet is just right, especially since the terrace is facing the stream (back out) , First impression of the chalet was very positive, nothing was missing. The gas stove is a great gadget, you don't have to put any wood on it, just turn the control up or down, with a real flame, very comfortable and cozy. Sauna is also available (space for 4 people), this is located directly in the entrance area, opposite one of the 2 bathrooms (1st floor - toilet, shower / 2nd floor - toilet, bath tub). The large dining area is enough for 8 people, it borders the large terrace and the living area including the kitchen, it is an open kitchen. upstairs are the 4 bedrooms, each with 2 double rooms and 2x2 single rooms (not so suitable for 4 couples). All in all it is a nice chalet, but with 2-3 small negative points, 1. the bed situation for couples, 2. it is very noisy (you can hear everything), 3. the parking spaces, actually 2 parking spaces are reserved in front of the house , however, if all chalets are booked all around, there is a bottleneck. In the end we can recommend this chalet, price-performance ratio, in a very nice location! The adjacent ski area is also excellent, a "SKI TRAIN" runs from the chalet 200m, free of charge for skiers, brilliant. Gladly again!

We had a very nice holiday in Woody Park in Murau. Cottage was nice and spacious clean and very nice location. No 9 had shade on the terrace in the afternoon which was lovely when it was too hot for the sun. Breakfast in the sun was much tastier then. Lots of things to do within an average half hour drive. Swimming pools nearby are nice and clean. Fine for a hot day. Many hiking opportunities in the mountains, with the chairlift up and then enjoy the view on foot. The rabbit meadow was very nice for the (young) children, the stream that flows past makes it complete. Had a great week with lots of peace and privacy.
