This beautiful holiday apartment for a maximum of 6 people is located on the ground floor of an authentic holiday home, directly on the slopes in St. Margarethen im Lungau in Salzburgerland, nestled between the Skischaukel Aineck-Katschberg ski area and the Grainwald. St. Margarethen im Lungau is the valley town of the top ski region Katschberg. The apartment is 100 m from the ski lift (Katschberg ski area) and 600 m from the center of Sankt Margarethen im Lungau with a number of shops and restaurants.
The holiday apartment offers 2 bedrooms (one of which has 2 stackable beds), a bright bathroom, a large living room with an open, fully equipped kitchen and a south-facing terrace. You can store skis and bicycles in a locked room in the basement.
Nestled between the local mountain Aineck and the Grainwald, St. Margarethen im Lungau is an ideal starting point for numerous activities in Salzburg's Lungau in summer. There are around 60 mountain lakes in Salzburg's Lungau, such as the Prebersee or the Schlierersee, the Lungau/Katschberg golf club is in the immediate vicinity of the town center and for swimming fun you can enjoy the St. Margarethen bathing pond, the St. Michael outdoor pool or the bathing island available in Tamsweg.
Sankt Margarethen im Lungau is about 30 minutes by car from Millstätter See and 45 minutes from Weissensee. The province is known for its castles, its folklore, the 370 km long cycle path, the "Mur cycle path" and its national parks. The Skischaukel Aineck-Katschberg ski area offers 70 kilometers of pistes and 16 lifts, with the neighboring ski areas Grosseck - Speiereck, the Fanningberg family adventure mountain and the Obertauern ski area offering a further 250 kilometers of pistes throughout the area.
Unfortunately, charging electric cars is not possible. You can do this at the town hall (600 m) or at the local gas station.

apartment is in a great location for those seeking peace and want to enjoy silence and nature, for us as a small family with a toddler this was pretty quiet and dull, comfort of the beds and furniture is very slecht.uitzicht is formidabel.dit highly recommended for those seeking peace.

Apartment building is called residenz Monica, while on our booking info it is referred to as Silverjet. After arrival, contacted the Austrian hostess (Bellvilla calls it 'caretaker') to indicate that nothing was missing or broken (as is requested in the information society of the house) and to indicate that we would like to use of the Lungau card. This card gives you the opportunity to undertake activities in the area at a reduced rate. A fairly common way of doing things in Austria. However, the hostess we received from Bellvilla turned out to be no longer connected to the apartment. So we could not indicate that we have arrived, and we could not use Lungaucard (ie. Only available through accommodation and not at the local tourist office). Called Bellvilla if they could give me the name of a new caretaker. Although the people on the phone are friendly, I ended up having to call three times and email twice. Result: no answers to my questions. A bit of a shame, but never mind. Not a second time Bellvilla for us in any case.Apartment is spacious and ok in itself. Not very clean, but after taking the vacuum cleaner in hand and removing the cobwebs, it was all right.

Wow! What a beautiful, complete and modern apartment and all of that right on the slopes. 50 steps to the tow lift. Fantastic. The village itself is not that big, 2 restaurants and a much too expensive supermarket, 4 km. back (Sankt Michael) are two good affordable supermarkets. Tip call an hour in advance that you will arrive, the people with the key must come from a number of villages away.

The apartment is right on the slopes. You can reach the gondola via a short button lift or on foot. The location is very quiet. The apartment was well equipped, including bed linen and enough towels. Cons: Many things were already very worn or broken. Light bulbs in the bedside lamps were missing and were not replaced when asked. Beds are not that comfortable.

The apartment looked good and was neat and clean. However, the arrival was less. There is no one on site, which is stated in the travel documents. We also understood that a Lungau card is available in the region. You would receive this from the landlord, but if it is not there, it is difficult to obtain it. Mountain railways are also open to a limited extent. There is no privacy on the terrace. People from neighboring houses just walk on your terrace. Furthermore, had a great holiday.

The apartment looks nice and is very clean, well maintained and fully. For the first needs are taken care of, there is an information set of items that really apply. I had a bit of a "holiday home" feeling. But beyond that to it was a nice apartment. It has a lot of privacy during the day, I can imagine that this may very well could be annoying in the winter with the ski slopes for the patio door is a concatenation of several "neighbors". The baby crib which is also present in the house is very in need of replacement. The setting is beautiful, rich and green for nature lovers and winter sports ideal.
